Kaze remained where he was while her face approached his own. She was having the oddest little smile as she neared before she spoke. Her breath was chilly but she could feel the heat emanating from his own nose. His eyebrow raised up slowly at her words. "At this range I could snap your neck before you could freeze me." He said, his tone oddly calm. She was off her rocker and seemed hellbent on getting another fight out of him even though he kept giving her serious warnings.

When she blew a wisp of her flames into his nose he turned away and fired out the frozen mucus while steam trickled from the orifices. "It's a lot harder to freeze the core than it is to freeze the outer edges." He said before turning back to her. He took note of her smile before leaning in close and licking the side of her face. His tongue was hot on her cheek and made her hair stick up after he pulled back.

"If you really want an all out fight ask the principal to arrange it." Kaze stated while settling into his seat to watch the fight down in the arena. Hair weaponry, so odd.

Kaze kept his eyes on the much smaller girl next to him. He was noticing that she was sobering up from her battle lust, which was a good thing. Probably because he mentioned death, that was always a sobering thought for the sane people. She didn't believe she could fall to him, she was probably the biggest baddest kid on her block. Hopefully the teachers would break that mindset of hers in a constructive way.

She turned off her music player and even put it away before turning to look at him once more. He hadn't budged from his spot nor moved his gaze from her. She asked if he really could kill her. "Yes, yes I could really kill you. Would I want to? No. But in the end between our two powers, I could kill you." He stated before gesturing to the railing she shattered. "You had to make that cold enough that you could break it with your bare hands. I just have to apply a little pressure without altering its heat or coldness." He said before glancing to the two in the arena.

"I'd ask all the teachers and the principals permission before going all out in the arena." He murmured, he obviously wasn't comfortable with his level of strength. He had never actively pushed himself, but what he had done was pretty scary when you look at what humans and animals are capable of.

Kaze watched the portal close shortly after he got through. There were quite a few mutants on the other side, some ex-prisoners, others the aid. Unlike a lot of the prisoners he was not wounded, fairly nourished, and pretty energized. The joys of a reptilian body, his system was built like one. He was 'fed' once every few days which was perfectly fine with his slow-going system. Setting aside his weapons and that monstrous shield he flexed and stretched out his body. Great cracks came from his joints, even after the little work out destroying those sentinels he was still stiff. That was something the other prisoners had on him, they got to move around a bit. He had been chained, barred, and strapped six ways to Sunday.

Corona, their liberator, was talking with some others before saying something about another mission. Rescue and protection, which meant destroy and shred the enemy in his mind. "Sure, why not." He rumbled out, that odd multi-voice reverberating from his chest. The portal was quick to open and off the people went to go help this Cable person. He followed along, leaving behind his equipment. He needed to get his body back up to one hundred percent. On the other side was a cabin, a guy chopping wood with a mechanical arm, and it seemed to be getting dark.

His tail snaked over and lifted the wood-axe from the ground while Corona/Kyle got a hug session. He examined the edge before running his claws down it, a sliver of metal getting sloughed off. The edge was now immaculately sharp while the 'important people' talked about incoming sentinels. His ears swiveled, taking in the jet sounds as the robots and carriers approached just as everyone kept saying they were incoming. Cocking his arm back anyone nearby could see the muscles expand, veins standing out under the tiny scales, before he launched the wood-axe with a dull shock-wave.

The splitter flew through the air before slamming into the engine of one of the carriers, they'd need to force a landing with just one engine going. He had ignored the MK1's, simply because they were small and didn't show any energy blasts. Merely ceramic bullets. When they started to land he started to move, lunging for the nearest one to rip apart.

Kaze watched how Eira seemed to change during the fights, shaking first, then her powers getting a little more out of control. He was naturally wary of her at this point, mostly because she held his weakness. But also because she seemed to be a little insane. Why are the cute ones always crazy? He thought grumpily before she shattered the metal in her frigid grasp. When she turned to look at him he was surprised she said his name, she had continued to call him Scales even after they fought.

He turned his full attention to her. "We're here to learn to control ourselves, Eira." He stated, his voice firm. "I don't know if the even Lady Jade can bring back the dead with her time abilities. That's why I hold back, and didn't fight you to my fullest." He said before shaking his head. "Seriously, it didn't take much strength to make the ground tremble when I tripped you up." Kaze explained, letting her know the seriousness of what she seemed to want.

When Kaze had first gotten to the school he had no limiters set and he had broken many things. Learning control had allowed him some semblance of normalcy despite his appearance. He'd want the teachers and the principals permission to go all out before even really thinking seriously about letting the control go.

Kaze just shook his head. "It's not always a competition. We're supposed to be learning, either how to control or better use out powers." He said, now getting some backstory on the girl. She was from New York and the streets...well that could mean anything. Was she disowned? Run away? Just thrown out? She'd let him know when she was ready and wanting to. "Also body temperature rises with work. Aside from insulated clothing people sweat in the middle of winter." He continued on while relaxing and watching the fight.

His ears swiveled when he heard the sound of water not in the ring. Looking to her he noticed she was drooling which got a loud laugh from him. Her ferocity was a little ruined by that face engulfing blush she was sporting. He had a major shit eating grin on his face even while she talked at him. "I knew we could go all out. I didn't want to tire the teacher out by destroying the arena." He said before letting that grin fade. "I've never really tested my strength, the most I've done is throw a car but even that felt light." He said. He had made the ground in the arena tremble by hitting it, he was obviously a powerhouse and was holding back for fear of causing too much damage.
