I always miss the fun stuff and references. Now I'll be wondering what 2011 was referring to.

You mean to tell me that wasn't foreplay?!?!

It had to be. I miss the old Diana/Bruce romance from days back then.
JC stepped through the portal and found himself in darkness. Maybe Pistolera didn't pay the light bill. Or she didn't leave the light on. That one made sense too. He conjured up a small flame in his hand to provide some light just so he wouldn't bump into anyone. At least until they got the lights situated. When she turned on the lights he looked around the place. It was a safe house alright. It wasn't something you'd wish to go to after living at the Tower, but it was what they were going to have to deal with for now. He realized that they were missing Accelerate, Sentinel, and Microbat. She must have left them behind. He knew essentially that Sentinel and Accelerate would be fine with their speed, but he didn't know how fast Microbat could move to catch up to them while also avoiding air support. They'd be fine. He just hated the fact that they left them. They needed to be together at a time like this.

When Pistolera said she was going to check and see what the world thinks of them now he looked around and pulled out his communicator. He stared at it and was about to drop it to the floor, but stopped when Evan started talking. At first he wasn't going to pay him any mind since all of his ramblings could've been just that, drunk ramblings. He listened to him talk about going down to Tartarus and sacrificing his divinity. Talk about sacrifices. He didn't want to send Evan off on this mission, but even if the guy was drunk this did seem to make sense. They all wanted those people to have their lives back. Maybe if they did this they'd also get Rose and the twins back. The latter was just a bit more of holding onto hope. He didn't know how the revival thing worked, but he wasn't certain they could bring back people ripped to shreds by zombies.

This may not put them in totally good favor with the rest of the world, but that wasn't why they wanted to do it. At least it wasn't the reason that he wanted to do it. He wanted those innocent people to have their lives back. They didn't deserve to come to an abrupt end. This whole ordeal changed him. He normally wouldn't have cared about what happened to the people that he killed, but now? Now, he wanted nothing more than to go down there and risk his life for theirs. It made him physically sick. JC knew that Evan was right about not sending him and Simone. They were the only leaders right now that the team had.

"This may be a dumbass drunken idea, but considering the fact that zombies came back to life, magic exists, we have powers, and gods exist it's not that much of a stretch. I'm going. We're supposed to make sacrifices like this. I don't care what you say against it. You need someone down there to make sure that this all goes down right. In the meantime. Everyone else that's not going needs to lay low. Destroy your communicators. After President Luthor realizes that we're gone the first thing he's going to do is track us with it. He's a genius after all. I'll let the others know."

He looked around at the others. They needed a fourth member for this expedition if they were going to actually go and he knew exactly who they needed. "Our forth member has to be Sentinel. Tartarus is filled with monsters, right? We'll need as many tanks as possible." He had no doubt that Sentinel and Amazon both would be the greatest help for this. Superman fought Greek monsters before, right? Sentinel should be fine.
Query was ready. Then again he was pretty much always ready. He didn't need to get anything like some of the others and nor did he need to make sure that he didn't leave something that didn't need to be brought in the first place. Unless of course he counted himself. This type of mission wasn't the best one for him to be a part of. He was different than his late mentor when it came to things like that. He didn't care what the threat may have been or how impossible the odds against him seemed. He'd rush in there and give it his all. Sometimes it left him out of commission for a while, but he hasn't died yet so it's a working plan.

He seemingly arrived last to the hangar bay and jet than the others, but that was far from the truth. He had actually been the first one there despite being the most non-super of the group. He even beat the one who could phase through walls. He was only able to get there before the others because his first course of action upon joining the team was finding any secret passageways or shortcuts through the Tower that could be helpful later.

He was currently sitting in the pilot's seat listening to some pop music on his phone. He only turned around when Aria face-planted on the way into the jet. He turned around and said, "Oh. I didn't hear you guys come in." He knew that Julian would want to pilot so he stood up from the seat and made his way to another free seat. They had to figure out a best course of action for when they got there. Just barging in would be too dangerous given the situation. There were likely hostages or else the police wouldn't have called them in.

"I suggest we go the stealth route for this mission. Without the proper care a bank robbery can become really messy. We don't want to risk any civilian lives. Tha'am and I should go in first. Him for his phasing, shapeshifting, and invisibility and me because I can sneak in without being found out. We need to land away from the bank so they wouldn't see a jet full of teen heroes coming." He hadn't yet looked at all of the jet's capabilities so he wasn't sure if there was a cloaking function for purposes like this. He would likely find out soon enough if it did or not.
Cat... or no cat? Cat........ or no cat? Cat--no cat, cat, no cat.... Cat. Yes. Most definetly cat.

She placed the kitten into her bag and zipped it up, chuckling as she did. Then she slipped on her pack and ran out the door, into the elevator and then into the hangar.

I may not like cats, but I so hope it doesn't end up like G Baby on this mission.

This is going to be good. I can see it now. Will they chalk up Evan's current plan as drunk nonsense or would they cling onto the only bit of hope to fix this that they have?

And it looks like either way they're going to be divided again. Time for some more falling.

I'll try and get a post in tonight. Told my friends that I wasn't going out tonight. Even put my foot down.

At first it was. But then Akira Toriyama came out and confirmed it.

Why Akira? Why bring back Power Level Discussions?
So... while I'm interested, I'm unaware of whether or not there's space. But... I'll just leave this here.

Which reminds me. Wasn't the 100 Quintillion thing supposed to be a joke?
Sorry to do this to you all, but I am dropping out. I return to school on the 12th and I am trying to limit my roleplays here, so I don't get caught in so many and cause people to wait on me.

I hope that does well and I wish the best on all of you.

We understand. School always comes first. Good luck with your studies and we could probably use the excuse of Static going back to Dakota while the rest of the team decided to head to Star City.

Wait, was this supposed to be a con?

Nope. That'll be her team. She'll be leading a team of blackjack playing hookers.
If Pistolera led the team it'll be one with blackjack and hookers.
