Don't have much to say right now but while this is under construction, wanted to mention that my circumstances have changed now that I have a newborn baby in the house. With that said, I will be on when I can and my posts may not be consistent or fast on a daily basis. That goes for both group and PM RPs. If I take forever posting, my apologies in advance. But I will try and inform ones I work with of my current status and when I'll attempt to post again.

Tamu stood a few yards away from the others who was present at the training grounds. Quietly staying to himself and looking around at the others, Tamu turned his head, looking over his shoulder at the new arrival when he spoke but Tamu gave a sigh not really in the mood for the moment to greet anyone.
Maybe later he'll get to know his fellow mages but then again...that later could be now. He listened to the booming voice that spoke to them. Hearing that they'd be put to the test and how fortunate they were to be in this position, Tamu felt that nothing good could come from where he was going with his speech.
As soon as he brought out his paintbrush and the scenery started to change with his magic, Tamu was wondering what magic did he just use? Now they were in an arena, about to fight beasts and they had to get out of what this interviewer called, an illusion. Yeah...the mess just hit the fan. What's worse, Tamu was going to be forced to work with the others. "Dammit...." he said quietly looking around before making any moves. Could they truly work as a team? He looked back at the others.

Hearing the last of the conversation between both Roxy and Becca, Jakobe was not all bothered for the fact that they'd have to go through challenges. Noticing Becca looking back at him, Jakobe already figured she was wondering if she'd have to fight against him or not? His arms were folded on his chest and if anything, he didn't want Becca to get worried too much about something that may not happen.
Jakobe walked over to them both ready to speak about what he heard "I say-" before he could get the rest of his words out, he heard the command from someone telling them to get going so they could start. Looking back at Roxy's expression, he could tell she was difficult as a person but there was nothing wrong with that though. He admired that but for the time being, he was going to just follow along.
Looking to Becca, Jakobe smirked "Let's show them what we can do..." walking towards the door passing the others.

Kriang smirked upon their blades baring in plain sight of one another. Kriang wondered was this it? Was he actually going to be simply defeated or killed? The anticipation left him trembling with excitement. This is what he trained so hard for. To find out if he truly was a worthy warrior of Yantra. Taking stance, his legs and body movement were fluid in motion and he got into defense looking at this magnificent monk he was fighting hard against. A bit sort in his midsection, Kriang welcomed whatever was to come next as he was going to go all out.
With the monk snapping forward, Kriang was going to see who would draw first blood. Moving forward, Kriang didn't launch off like Xi but he showed he was not going to be in full defense but to show he was no backing down either. Kriang started off the moment they got close with a short ducking motion with a testing thrust of his sword towards Xi's thigh but if he needed to shift to defend, that was not out of the question yet.
