House: Astrid is Gryffindor and Terra is Hufflepuff
Magical Heritage: Muggle raised (but their mom was a witch)
Appearance:
Backstory/Personality: Astrid and Terra are identical twins, but do have fairly different personalities. Astrid is determined and willful, a Gryffindor through and through. Terra isn't as headstrong as her sister, and is shy. She prefers the back row of the class and a good fanciful book. Their mother disappeared when they were three and since they found out about Hogwarts, they started to wonder if their mom was of witch heritage. Their father, already disturbed from an incident in his youth and his wife's disappearance has barely spoken a word to the girls since they got their letter.
Wand: Astrid's wand: Ash, Dragon heartstring, stiff, 10 inches
Terra's wand: Willow, phoenix feather, wispy, 9 3/4 inches
Personal items and pets: They share and owl
Special Gifts and Abilities: If they are within a mile of each other they can sense each others feelings, and location. Terra is great with plants and had already been thinking of becoming a botanist before coming to Hogwarts.

Rose at some point during the night had fallen asleep on the couch, she was half hanging off of it, when her mom tossed a blanket over her before leaving for work.

Rose read out loud for a little longer. She tired to maneuver just right so she didn't wake the Doctor. Sleep was still eluding her so she hoped she could get out of the bed and do something until he woke up, but he needed rest.
