Amy Snow "The unabridged of all 12?" Amy asked surprised. "I've been through these stacks all of last year and I didn't notice them." She shook her head a bit disappointed with herself. Then she realized what he had said after that. She stared at him with wide eyes and it was only her librarian soul that kept her from dropping the book she held. She shook her head again. "I'm plain, just brown hair, brown eyes. Nothing pretty." She pinched her hand just to make sure.

Amy Snow Amy nodded at his question about another sip of cider. She took the sip and realized she was sitting on his lap. "Oh, I'm sorry." Her eyes went wide and she got up and sat in a chair. "We were talking about books." She said taking a shaky breath. Books she could talk about all day. Her eyes glanced around the room at the collection in it. Some of the books she had never seen, even at the Library of Congress. "Oh my is that actually a copy of The Golden Bough?" She moved over to it and pulled it off the shelf to look at it. Distracted from Nero briefly by the old anthropology book.

Amy Snow Amy blushed. She had never once in her whole life kissed a boy. Except the on cheek kiss one of the boys in the home had given her on a dare. Then Nero's kiss on her cheek earlier, but for her to kiss him. Her heart leaped up at the thought. She questioned again if this was really happening or if maybe she had fallen asleep at the table and was happily snoozing in the library right now. She stood, her feet taking her over to Nero, and leaned over slightly to kiss him. Certain that it was only a cheek kiss he wanted, because honestly this must be a prank. Something Ash had devised. Ash wasn't cruel though. She wouldn't do this. Yeah there had been teasing and much avoiding of each other after the fight last year in English. They had never been put in the same group again. Seemed Miss. Reese had told the rest of the teachers that they couldn't get along. This though, this was not something Ash would do.

Amy Snow A very confused and slightly dazed Amy nodded at Nero's question. Food isn't allowed in the library. Part of her brain told her, it was a very quite part. She sat down at the table with the glass of Juice. "So, you transferred here today then? You said it was your first day. That would explain why I don't recognize you. I mean, not that I know everyone here or anything." She caught herself as she babbled a bit. "Sorry," She said more to the juice than to Nero. Then took a sip. It was very good apple juice, and Amy was perplexed as to where Nero had gotten it. "This is good." She told him.

Amy Snow Amy tried to catch the small silver key, but was distracted by Nero's smile. It hit her shoulder and she caught it as it fell to the ground. Was that allowed? "Is that allowed? I mean having this reserved all the time?" Amy's voice felt very tiny in her throat and she wasn't entirely certain she had said anything at all. What was going on with today? She asked herself freaking out was not normally how she reacted to being spoken to. Yeah she had a hard time starting conversations, okay so maybe this wasn't so much a conversation as a cute boy talking to her, the second in the day too. She was certain there had been no magical transformation over the summer to warrant it.
