Name: Elisabeth "Beth" (if you know she's a lady) Dave (if you don't) Wakefield Age:28 Height: 5'8" (172.72 cm) Build: Beanpole (lithe) Hair: Dark and cut short (about an inch long) Facial Hair: None Eyes: Dark (a whole two of them) Apparel: Loose tunic and trousers. Military style jacket, dark colors (appears re-dyed) and worn, but carefully cared for. Gear: Compass, sextant, maps, quadrant, a few other odder devices mostly for navigation, a notebook, pencil, penknife Weapons: A boot dagger, a flint lock pistol, and a cutlass. Rank: First mate / Navigator (if there isn't one, she's a bit obsessed with it actually and would probably do it anyway) Ship: The El Marees Background: Beth was born to a military man of many honors. Her and her twin were raised by their mother primarily. Beth hero worshiped their father and was nearly destroyed by his death when she was only 8 years old. Her twin, Sarah, on the other hand went the way of their mother. A fancy young lady. Beth went the way of sword fights and danger. Her older brother Dave is who she took the identity of when she finally went out to explore the world. He had no established reputation (as he died at the age of 12). Beth when she ran away from home the next year took his paper work, thankful for their similar appearance and got onto a ship as a powder monkey. She got lucky and survived, her gender still a secret. The child called Dave Wakefield, continued working her way up through the ranks and working on different ships until she heard of Amir looking for new shipmates. She switched crews, as she often did to keep her true identity hidden. Often even leaving with ladies at a bar to encourage her mates to not question her. Beth's family is large. Some of that is fictive kin, some of it is blood, but it is spread all throughout the world. In almost any port Beth can easily find someone she knows. Chances are a favor or two is owed between the relatives, and Beth finds herself often caught up in the drama of her relatives (another reason for switching ships often). Beth's immediate family includes 21 siblings. Most are half, only three (one now dead) are full siblings. Most of her siblings have several children (though none match her parents at producing the hoard). Both of her parents had many siblings, who all had children.

Julius Edwardson

Name:Julius Edwardson Age: 35 Height:5'9" Build: Man o' muscle Hair: Standard military Facial Hair: Clean shaven (usually) Eyes:Bright blue Apparel: Military uniform Gear: Military gear Weapons: Pistol, sword, both a cutlass and a rapier. Julius also carries a hip dagger. Rank: Chief Gunner's Mate Ship: HMS Defiance Faction: Navy Background: Julius is a generational navy man. His family fully believed in him joining the navy at the youngest possible age and he has barely stepped off of a ship since. His marriage was arranged, and seems to be a happy one, having produced one child (a girl). (More to come)

Amy Snow - The Cafeteria Amy got her own food and waited for the other two girls. "Would you like to sit with us?" She asked a little unsure. Amy was still getting used to the idea of even having Seacliffe sit by her. "You'll have to forgive me though if you do. I spend entirely too much time talking about homework." Back at in the Home Amy had grown up she had been told innumerable times that she was obsessed with learning and to leave the rest of the 'normal' kids alone. She had thought a school like this one she would have more of a chance of meeting people like her, but the prior year hadn't made that easy. Mostly because of rooming with Ash. Ash and her had butted heads way too much. Amy was all too happy that they barely crossed paths this year.

Amy Snow - The Cafeteria 7:15 am "Probably. I'm Amy Snow by the way." Amy paused. "Oh! I remember you from yesterday. One of the Wells hall girls was laughing at you." Amy blushed. "I should have said something to her, but I remember her from last year. She's really snobbish." Ash Mareinos - Swim practice 5:45am Ash slipped into the pool water. The chlorine stunk in her nose. Even with her ability to hold her breath underwater nearly indefinitely the pool water was even harder to do that in. She started swimming the endurance laps, this time actually paying attention to how she recovered. Wondering if she'd be able to teach it to the new girl, Aery.

Amy Snow - The cafeteria "There you are Seacliffe." Amy smiled, "I asked the professor last night about that issue we were having with conjugations. I get it now if you want me to explain it." Just as Amy turned into the line for the food she bumped into Zaylin. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." Amy helped her pick up her bag. "I remember seeing you around last year. Right?" Amy asked, not completely sure if her memory with faces was as good as her memory with words.
