"I'm here. Always here." She didn't know what else to say, other than to reassure him that she was indeed there for him and always would be. Her fingers wrapped into his hair holding on to it for dear life. After some time she moved back, still holding onto him, almost as if letting go would let him drift away.

"I brought you some books. I wasn't quite sure what you'd like to read so I got an assortment of stuff." Rose dragged the bag over closer with one hand and opened it before pulling out a stack of paperbacks. "They were on the quarter shelf so I don't know how good any of them are." The books ranged from young adult to classic literature to some thrillers. There was a box set of books with a girl who had purple spiked hair pictured on the front.
I hated my old phone.
Rose returned finding the Doctor crying into his breakfast. She dropped the bag that had the couple of books she had decided to check out. A few for the doctor and two for herself. She was aware of his love for books and had decided that maybe a few books would help distract him while he waited for it to be safe to enter the TARDIS again.

"Doctor." She wrapped her arms around him. "Did something happen while I was gone?" She ran her fingers through his hair, unsure if that was for him or for herself.
On the awesome side of things I have a smart phone now! with things like snapchat on it.
sorry for that taking so long, my sister's house lost internet over the weekend, we had to have the guys come in and reinstall it, and today's been crazy at work.
Rose didn't sleep well either. She was thinking too much. Thinking of how to help the Doctor. When her mom came home sometime in the middle of the night. Rose explained as much as she thought she had the right to of the Doctor's situation. Jackie understood. She'd be there for Rose as Rose helped the Doctor.

Early in the morning, long before the Doctor woke up Rose went to the library and spent a couple hours looking over text books about psychology. She knew she'd need as much information about it as she could gather. She hoped she'd get home before the Doctor woke, but she wasn't so lucky.

Jackie did have breakfast ready with a note that she was sorry she wasn't there, but she had to go to work. The note mentioned that Rose was out, and should be home shortly.
"Yeah it was." Ted said sliding off of the cot. He smiled at the two ladies and led the way to a set of stairs that went up. "It's just up the stairs and then the garden is on the top of the building, so it's a few flights of stairs." The Doctor nodded and Ted started up the stairs.

It took the three of them almost 15 minutes to finally get to a large door, Ted paused and gave a bright smile at The Doctor and Nora. "Behind this door is the Garden." He said, and then pushed it open. It was hot. Both the Doctor and Nora felt their mouths dry out as they stepped into a literal jungle of plants. Most of what they saw, which wasn't a lot, since all the plants were tall, appeared to be edible in some way. These people had perfected the art of hydroponics and green houses.

Looking up was a treat as well. Through the glass dome they could see the snow storm raging on. Flurries wiped about pushed by the unseen winds. Inside the dome though they couldn't hear the wind. It was quite save the sound of wildlife, specifically bees, and a few other insects. Birds were chirping, and the smell of oranges, unseen, filled their noses. It was a contrast to have pure life and spring in the room they stood in while snow and sleet slammed the city.
Rose was determined to take care of the Doctor. She'd be his Doctor. He needed her. "I'm here for you. We'll take this at the pace you need it to be taken to." Tomorrow she'd look into some psychology texts and see what she could learn. She knew the Doctor well enough, or at least she hoped she did, to be able to tailor what human psychology had for him. "You can use my bed, so you're not on the couch. I don't mind sleeping on the couch for a while." She had slept on it for the first few weeks he was gone, she had been ready to leave at a moment's notice.

"After you get some rest, we'll work on the TARDIS." That always made him feel better, working with his hands. She finally let go of him, and started cleaning up.
"Hello Ted." The Doctor gave the small boy a large smile. She placed the blankets and pillows on her bed and sat down so she'd be closert o eye level with Ted and held out her hand for a shake. "I haven't been up into the gardens in such a long time. Would you mind if I tagged along?"

The boy glanced to Nora, after shaking the Doctor's hand. "I don't mind," a smile breaking across his face as well.

"Sorry to interrupt, but may I get your names please?" The woman with the clipboard had returned. She looked between Nora and the Doctor, curiosity written across her face, but she didn't ask anything else.

"Ah yes, I'm the Doctor, and this is my friend Nora." The Doctor announced proudly, as if she had never had another friend before, or it had been a long time since the last one.
Rose sat as his tears fell and slid her chair next to his wrapping her arms around him. God it hurt to think of him gone for so long his time. She had been upset at him for being gone a year. What if really had been her whole life? What if she had never gotten to hug him again, or see him smile again? How could she help him? She wanted him to be happy again, to smile, to laugh, to dare enemies to fight him and he'd win. Of course he would, right?

"Doctor, you're back, that's all that matters now. You're here." Her grasp around him tightened. She couldn't let go. Not ever again. She'd never let him leave, not even for a day. "We'll talk about what happened later. Right now you need rest, and food and tea. Tea makes everything better." A British lie, tea was only a band aid. Eventually for the sake of his sanity they'd have to talk about what happened. He'd have to have a release. More than just the tears. He need a shrink, but how does one find a shrink for a Time Lord. The tea, speaking of it, was probably already ready, probably done seeping, but Rose couldn't let go of the Doctor. Not yet. They both had tears and those tears needed to be shed. She hid hers into his shoulder, kept her sobs down so he wouldn't know.
