Andy nodded. It sort of made sense. She hadn't ever kept anything for a couple of reasons, but thinking back she wished she had now. Then at least she would have something to show for the fights she had already experienced. She followed the group to the Armory where she looked over the weapons. None spoke to her so she decided to forgo taking anything from there except some armor, which she carried with her to the flag location. She had thanked Kristin and Alannah for their help before she left.

Since Andy wasn't trained on how to wear the armor she ended up with just the helmet and a breastplate. Anything else would hinder her she felt. At the flag location, Andy realized she didn't know any of the people on her team. She wanted to disappear. Why couldn't there have been one person she knew? Jade's cabin was here, but she wasn't, which made sense when Andy thought about it. She struggled with figuring out the breastplate for a moment before finally, in a quiet voice, asking, "Can someone help me with this?" What was she thinking joining this game? She had no idea what she was doing.

Andy nodded at Alannah's explanation. She thought about the few monsters she had encountered, they had dropped something, but Andy had never bothered to keep it. "You're supposed to keep what they drop? She had feared it was a trap. She did cringe a bit when Alannah called it 'lucky'. There had been nothing lucky about what she had experienced, except for that she was still alive.

Andy listened as Chiron announced the groups. She was spilt up from Ash. She frowned slightly at that. Why had the Ares cabin, who had clearly picked first, only picked her? If they thought she was a fighting powerhouse they would be mistaken. Sure she had fought a couple of monsters and had the lightning thing, but she hadn't ever fought more than one monster at a time. And monsters were very different from people, sometimes. She shivered at the memory of one that had been disguised as a human before attacking her. Andy shook the memory away.

"Hello Kristin." Andy said as she joined the group at Zeus' table. She nodded at the offer of being shown the armory. Andy was curious about it. Was her weapon normal? Or different. It was different from Author's but that had been explained. Good to know that the camp wasn't as safe as it had been promised. Danger could get in. Well, at least it seemed like everyone here was battle capable, at least the veteran campers.

Andy decided she did want to join in the game. She had been hurt before so that didn't scare her. This also seemed like a way to get to know the other campers. Maybe it would help her decide if she really did want to stay here. It seemed like the best place for her, even if it wasn't perfectly safe and she was going to have unwanted attention. She needed to make a first impression, one she hoped was a good one. This mock game was the best way to do it. Her lips tightened and she made a small nod to herself. Even if she didn't stay she was going to try to fit in.

Niah didn't hear any of what the group was saying since she was still focusing on her sight, but she was keeping an eye on Luminos. She hoped the group saw her warning or noticed the blue streak on their own. Niah hated Luminose and could tell the more she saw the woman the angrier she felt. At least it seemed they hadn't been spotted by her. Now if they just kept quiet and could get past her then they could probably get out of there before they were noticed. Niah certainly hoped so. She didn't want to fight Luminose again. Someone always died when they did.

Not that Niah wouldn't be perfectly happy filling Luminose with ICER juice. She looked back at the group trying to see what they had decided to do. She dropped the focus on her heightened sense "Sorry if I missed any important information, I was focusing on sight and couldn't hear." She said in the barest of whispers. "What is the plan?"

Okay, so Maria had now had memories that proved this was some alternate reality? Novikova's power shouldn't allow her to manipulate memories. Niah would believe that Abercrombie was capable of that. Whatever Novikova had done theoretically was legitimate. The likelihood of another reality was becoming glaringly impossible to ignore. She bit her lip thinking. One hand held up covering her face from the sun. Cool air was coming from the portal that Runa was holding open. There wasn't much of a choice she was going to go through the portal, but she wasn't happy about the prospect of it.

She had been lost a bit in thought when Cass pulled Mystique, Sapphire, and Kingston out of the quinjet. She would have helped if she had realized what Cass had been doing. She sighed. Too late now. She pulled her radio off her hip and tossed it into the pile, the paused when she reached for her phone. That had to be tossed. Its signal could be used to find them. She sighed, glanced at the picture of her and her sister and then let it join the pile.

Then she saw that Kingston was walking off toward the house. That seemed really bad. Did she let him go and risk the group to whatever he had planned? Abercrombie definitely had wanted him knocked out, and supposedly she was Niah's CO in the "real world". God, she hated not knowing what to do. Why had it all gotten so complicated suddenly? Why did they seem to have memories now? Abercrombie said she had no memory of this world at all, but Niah had memories of her before today. What had changed?

Niah couldn't bring herself to actually shoot Kingston, not to mention literally in the back, even with the ICER which wouldn't do any lasting damage. "Kingston! Get back here!" She yelled at him. Then followed after him, running to catch up. "Look I get it, whatever is happening is nuts, but if you just chill and stop going off half-cocked we can figure out what is happening. This way we have Banner with us. If it turns out this is the only reality we're good on the mission. If it turns out the other reality is the real one then we need to get things set right."

Niah frowned as Dr. Strange talked about the downsides of the stone, but she wasn't entirely certain he seemed to be implying that even without using the stone they risked the same problem. This was very dangerous, and the consequences would be dire. Was that something she was okay with? Would she go through with this plan only because she had already? She had weighed the consequences once before and had left a trail for herself.

She heard Bonnie's words of encouragement and nodded, the frown not disappearing. She stepped through the sling ring's gate and into Wakanda. The city had fallen, and it was a dangerous place for them. It was, however, the only source of Vibranium and they needed it to succeed in building the machine. She didn't say anything when Susan gave them direction to be quiet for the invisibility to work.

Niah considered reaching out with her senses to make sure no one could sneak up on them. The downside of listening wasn't too bad, she was thankful she wouldn't lose her sense of vision. It was worth it. She focused on her hearing for a few seconds trying to make it the forefront of her senses. Unfortunately, instead of heightening her hearing, it slipped away and now everything was in stark contrast. She had enhanced her vision instead, and couldn't hear. Well, she might as well use her enhanced sight since it was active. It was frustrating that after so long sometimes the power just went wonky.

As she cast her gaze around them making sure there were no enemies nearby something caught her attention. A blue streak. Her expression hardened and she drew her ICER. Maybe they hadn't been noticed, but Niah doubted it. If Luminose was here they had been seen. A lot of emotion rolled around in her for a moment. Luminous was the cause of one of her friend's deaths. When she had been taken out of the Raft by Ultron Niah knew the possibility of them running into her was there. It didn't make this reunion any easier. She didn't dare speak, just in case, they had somehow not been spotted. But she mouthed Luminose's name to the group. There was no point trying to point her out, she was too fast for that.

Andy was feeling a little overwhelmed but she appreciated the information. She nodded at Arthur as he joined them at her table too. "Good evening Arthur." It didn't get passed her that all of them had 'A' names, and as she thought that she grinned. Alannah explained what the armory was and that made sense. "Is it often a kid will get a weapon before coming here? Or is the armory the only way?" This wasn't a question she thought Ash would ask for her so Andy had to ask it, at least she was already sort of under the spotlight at this point so there wasn't any escaping it. She wasn't sure how to explain the old man who had given her her bracelet, but she had a feeling it had been Zeus. That feeling had grown after she had seen the statue in her cabin.

It was clear most hadn't met their godly parent except at the winter solstice that Chiron had mentioned. If that man had been Zeus then she was different, yet again. Blending in was going to be impossible. At least Arthur had been given a weapon at the very beginning, at the same time Ash had been given the talking skull. Andy wondered what the point of the talking skull was. Weapons made sense. They were useful. The skull didn't seem to have a use. Maybe Ash knew or would figure it out if she did Andy hoped she would learn what it was.

Andy was startled slightly when a girl sat at her table. She introduced herself as Alannah, the head counselor for the Athena cabin. Andy had no idea who Athena was, none of the group that had arrived that day were children of Athena so she had no background on her. "I'm okay. My name is Andy." There was no reason to introduce herself since Chiron had done it for her already, but it felt right. She was vague about her feelings, there was a lot going on in her feelings, too much to explain.

She was contemplating asking Alannah who Athena was when Ash joined her table too. "I don't mind." A smile cracked across Andy's face as Ash started talking and asking questions saving her the trouble. Andy had never had a proper friend before, but she was getting the sneaky suspicion that Ash would become her first friend. A part of Andy wanted to pull away from that, the nervous frightened kid that she was, but it was hard to not like Ash. She was a whirlwind of energy. A pang of loneliness and a small wish that they had been siblings spent a moment dancing through Andy's heart and mind. It was swept away by fears and worries that took up too much space.

Were they really going to have them play whatever capture the flag was too? Sure, Andy had street smarts in spades, but her experience was humans or being attacked by monsters. Defeating monsters just required a good stab from her knife, and maybe a blast of electricity. She had no idea how she could contribute to capture the flag. Andy wished Ash would ask what capture the flag was about, but maybe Alannah would answer that question when she talked about the "no killing" rule. At least Ash had asked about the armory, that sounded interesting.

Niah was glaring at Kingston. Every time he talked he said something that upset her all the more for it. "That inhuman is twice the person you are. If this is some crazy snap I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner considering how she's been treated. And no this wasn't some coordinated conspiracy, but I'm willing to at least listen to what they have to say." She did relax toward Diggby. Niah wasn't comfortable with the idea of killing any of them, especially since that might include herself since she didn't remember this other world either, but a pragmatic side of Niah thought it might be for the best. Her hand went to her phone, but she didn't pull it out to look at it.

She did step out farther to see what was going on and saw some sort of portal and people she didn't know on the other side. "You can use my ICER." Niah said to Maria, mostly as a joke since she didn't even move to offer the weapon, though the temptation of punching Kingston had been increasing. "If we're going through that," She gestured to the portal. "We can send the ship up into the air looking like we succeeded on our mission and have it blow up somewhere over the Atlantic. It'll take them ages to figure out what happened."

A little tension released from Niah's shoulders as they all seemed to think her theory was sound. She nodded at Bonnie, looked like they had no choice but to go to 1984. She still wasn't certain how she felt about the prospect. "Make that the target date then. I didn't see anyone else in the flash that I got from the postcard, so anyone is free to join or not. If you want to forget this timeline then please stay behind, and hopefully, when everything is restored it'll be all gone as if it never happened." She didn't dare put hope or if into if they would succeed, they had to. So much had gone wrong since the beginning of phase three, and Niah had a weird deep-seated fear that the whole thing was HYDRA's plan all along. Niah handed Agent Carter the well-read book she had.

"I don't know, but I am assuming Doctor Strange has a good reason for it. I've been tearing my hair out over time travel for months and he never said anything to me. However, if the incident in New York is any indication of what the stone can do I don't want anything to do with it." Niah looked concerned, she frowned and gently reached up to touch her necklace again. "Focus on the machine Agent Carter. Make a prototype handheld control device and once we know how many people are going to travel you'll need to make some for each of them. Then encode it to their DNA, that's why I'm having Mrs. Richards help you."

Acknowledging Ash and Arthur, "My name is Andy." She then looked at the newly claimed Aphrodite girl. "Honestly, I don't want either. If there were a god of just disappearing that would make more sense." Well aside from the power to electrocute people. That made sense. She really didn't want to be the child of one of the big three, and especially not the daughter of the king of the gods. There was going to be a responsibility that came with that. A responsibility she was in no way qualified for.

That was clear when Chiron let them all check out their cabins and meet their siblings. She walked up to the giant white marble "cabin" and felt intimidated by it alone. She paused before it debating even going in. What would be the point? She didn't have any belongs to drop off. Everyone else was checking out theirs and meeting their siblings, well except for Kiera. Like Andy, she had no siblings. The "cabin" was massive and devoid of any furniture except for two alcoves with golden eagle statues and one intimidating statue of, who Andy assumed was her father, Zeus, in the middle. There was a constant rumble of thunder. Andy was thankful she wasn't afraid of it. If she had been she would certainly have to get over that. If Andy knew the word pretensions that is what she would have called the cabin. Pretensions show with no substance behind it.

In one corner of the room was an old dusty sleeping bag. Andy walked over to it, realizing that it was the only spot in the room that was safe from the gaze of Zeus. Some sibling of hers had pulled their sleeping bag into the corner of the room to gain some semblance of comfort. She noticed an old photo, that had once been stuck to the wall, on the ground. There were three kids in it. None of them were wearing the camp t-shirt. She wondered which of them, if any, was her sibling. Now long gone from this place. She left the picture where she found it to finish exploring the room. She found a bathroom, and that was all. Nothing else was in this place, and she felt more alone then she had before she had come to the camp.

Yeah, she knew who her father was now. Every orphan dreamed of knowing that. Dreamed of their long lost family finding them and whisking them away to some magical place where they were a princess. Andy had never quite dreamed of that. She had just wanted a place to call home, and family. This was more like a nightmare than a dream come true. She sighed and left the cabin to rejoin the group for the rest of the tour.

Her favorite part was when Chiron told them about the climbing wall. That looked like fun. Despite all the frustration and worry that the day had brought, she looked up at the climbing wall with excitement.

When dinner finally rolled around Andy was hungry. This wasn't something new for her, but the sugar from the soda Mr. D had given her had made her stomach extra twisty. She followed the motions of the other campers. Scraping a portion of her meal into a brazier. She didn't understand why, but she was good at copying people's motions. It helped when you were an outsider to learn the rules of a place as fast as possible. She could still feel eyes on her, especially when she sat at the table Chiron told her she would sit at. It was Zeus table. Sitting there marked her as his kid. Every other camper would know and there would be no way to hide from it.

She did share a glance at Ash and Arthur when they joined, giving them a half smile. She also nodded at Kiera, and would have given Jade the same if she could have seen it. Also, now that she knew Desdemona's name she tried to find her amongst her siblings to give her a nod too. There was no way she was happy. Andy wouldn't necessarily switch with her, but she could understand her plight and wanted her to know that in whatever non-verbal way she could communicate that to her.

She did hear bits of conversation. Either about how many big three kids there were, or about capture the flag. Andy didn't know what that was, but it sounded like it would be an adventure. Maybe Ash would ask what it was and someone would answer loudly enough that Andy would know the answer too. Out of the new campers Jade and Desdmona were the ones who were most likely to have learned what it was.
