Niah Bautista

Location: Camp Jupiter - Via Principalis
Skills: Oath sense

Niah was used to a mild tingle somewhere right at the base of her head, just above where it met the spine. She scratched at it. Almost everyone had broken minor promises, she liked being around those who hadn't. There was no getting around it. As far as she was concerned they didn't even really count, but there she was with tingle reminding her they did. Fortunately, for her lies didn't. That could have hurt. She scratched at the back of her neck. It didn't help.

She had finished her mid-day meal and was following a good portion of the crowd out of the mess hall. Mealtime was chaotic, and the buzz at the back of her head was near-constant during that time. In the mess hall she honestly couldn't tell who was pinging on her obnoxious radar, but in smaller groups and especially one-on-one, or god forbid she touched a person she knew exactly who had and hadn't broken an Oath. With a touch that usually conferred what the Oath had been. Sometimes in obnoxious detail when she didn't want to know, which was most of the time.

Niah glanced to her left and saw Nancy stumble and almost fall. The Seer was even pulling out her deck of Tarot cards. That was probably a bad sign. Niah hurried to Nancy's side. First making sure she was okay. The tingle expressed itself, but Niah expected that around Nancy. They had been around each other often enough over the two years they had both been at camp. Second, she was there to make sure if Nancy had a full prophetic vision someone was there to witness it. A Seer didn't always remember their visions. What Nancy said made little sense to Niah, but at least she had the phrase.

When it seemed Nancy was back to her senses she asked, "Are you alright?" Technically Nancy outranked Niah, but Niah could ask out of the kindness of her own heart. Niah had no idea what the cards Nancy had pulled meant, that was definitely not her area of expertise. "Do you need anything?" She tried to keep a neutral tone, not sounding like she was worried or thought Nancy was incapable, but there for her just in case. Something Niah would have done for nearly anyone else at camp, there were always exceptions. Like Donald, he could suck an egg.

Matthew Moss

Location: Quinjet -> Cardiff castle

"Bonnie, Cass. Good to see you both." Matt grinned thankful they were there. It was a good sign. Cass looked like a wreck, but she was standing on her own. He glanced at Sparky, Matt was sure Raynor would be keeping a close eye on her so he wasn't worried about her collapsing as suddenly as Cass had. "Other than some threats to Oliver's well being, and Sparky starting to show symptoms."

Matt glanced at Doctor Strange. He knew who he was, though he had never met him personally. If Doctor Strange was involved the situation was...well strange. He wondered how much Bonnie and Cass had been able to brief him. "Have you been fully briefed, Doctor?" He asked him. Matt didn't feel like he himself had been fully briefed, but that seemed to be SHIELD. You went in with half as much information as was needed and hopped you finished the mission with more than half your team alive...or still working for you.

Andy

Location: The ship [Galley]

"Hi Lauryn, I'm doing okay." Andy lied easily. Though if anyone cared to think about it there was no way it was anything but a lie. "And I picked a room mostly at random. How about you?" She asked between bites of food. When Alannah came in she gave her a small wave. "What is that?" She asked Lauryn and Alannah. Andy had no idea how to read a map, heck she didn't even know what part of the state the camp was in. She was lucky she even knew it was New York. All her knowledge of geography was what she had seen with her own eyes.

She did smile a bit when Mary came in. Andy liked Mary. "Hi Mary." Andy didn't have a lot of words that she wanted to describe the ship so she ended up with. "It's amazing." That was truthful. "Where is Camp Jupiter?" She also wanted to know what they would be doing during the time they'd be traveling, but now wasn't the time to ask that she figured. Andy hated asking any questions anyway, but there was no getting through her new world without it.

Rose Buckner

Location: Trailhead
Skills: N/A

Rose laughed when Siera asked how her dating life was. She hadn't really been looking. Sure she had a few one-night-stands here and there, but nothing serious and certainly nothing she would have called a dating life. "Eh, nothing to write home about honestly. Not even someone I'd consider for more than a nice time for coffee and whatever followed." Rose never had sex drunk, she hated the idea of it and always wanted her partner to be sober for the experience too. If they wouldn't have sex sober, they shouldn't drunk. That was her opinion on the matter. "What about you?"

"I've done so much camping. The Buckners love to camp so we would go nearly monthly. Even if it was for just the weekend. And I was always so connected with the woods that I felt more at home there then I did in the city. A dream of mine is to own a cabin deep in some wood and forget the city even exists. And this is where I was found, so I always sort of hoped I'd find my birth parents someday wandering the woods looking for me." She gave a small shrug. The trail here was an easy one. And her feet knew it well.

Rose took a deep breath of the pine-scented wood remembering vividly crying in the woods. That was what had led the Buckners to her. She didn't even know how she had gotten there. Even as a child she couldn't answer that question. Another memory tickled at her memory and she focused on it. She could, in her mind's eye, see the woods from before. The one she knew was her original home. It was different. Older and denser. There was her mother. She had beautiful brown hair that curled around her face and fell down her back. She wore a red cloak and was saying something to Rose, but present-day Rose couldn't remember what it was. A tear threatened to fall and Rose could only hope that her mother was still alive.

Colby Jackson

Location: Chinese Restaurant
Skills: N/A

Colby helped stuff the leftovers into boxes. "I'll be careful around the hunting gear. And just to the park please." He promised before the girls left. He rolled his eyes when Cass said the cat's breeds were 'cat'. Why did no one care? It meant so much for a cat what breed it was. A lot of a cat's personality was determined by that. Certain cats didn't like strangers, others would love anyone that looked like they didn't want anything to do with a cat. And others still would climb into the lap of the first person who sat down.

"Honestly, I think this good for you." Colby told Matthew. "You need to break out of your comfort zone. Try something new. I mean honestly when is the last time you talked to a stranger, other than the first time we talked?" Colby stood up and adjusted his hoody. "I mean I think this is the most you've said in the last hour than I've heard you say in the entire time I've known you. Let's go."

Colby grabbed a container and headed out of the restaurant. When he spotted Layla he came over to her next to their car. "I appreciate the ride." He said before climbing gently into the back seat making sure he didn't sit on or disturb any of the gear the girls had back there.

Mary Winthrop

Location: Compartment 3
Magic: N/A

Mary caught Arty's leg with a soft oof. "Too bad there isn't a theater class for wizards, you'd do wonderfully." Her mind filled with some fun ideas for theater magic. "Well there are four of us so it should be quad something." She suggested. "I'm amazed we haven't named our little group." The four of them had been friends since the first year. They did have a few people that were on the periphery, but the four in compartment three were the core.

She loved her friends and had a sudden burst of thankfulness for the group. They were the reason she was as happy as she was. If she hadn't had a good group of friends...She let the thought disappear and just basked in Arty's goofiness. "If an Auror were to walk in here right now I don't even know what they would think" She shook her head. "How did you become a prefect even?" She laughed. "What is the secret code?" Mary's life amongst muggles had been...restricted. She didn't know of any coded language that they might have with earings.

Matt secured himself while Raynor finally took off. The guy had a major chip on his shoulder. Matt got it. He did. Raynor loved Sparky there was no doubt about that, and Matt wanted to punch Oliver too. He'd wait though. Wait until their lives weren't dependent on them getting through a mission. You didn't in-fight while on a mission. You could fight all you wanted afterward though.

Matt hadn't even bothered to take off his suit. He didn't see a reason to. He would just have to put it back on when they got back to Earth. So he waited for the others to suit up. He looked to Tinley while she spoke and nodded. "What do we know about this kid Thane was it? His age? What he looks like? We can't exactly go shouting for him to come out, can we? I gotta say I do like Maria's idea of just sending him back to Atilian."

He looked through the cockpit window from his vantage point at the castle. He had never been here before, but he had grown up in London. And most of his traveling had been with the SBS, so most of his time had been abroad in counter-terrorism units.

Andy

Location: The ship [Cabin -> Hallway -> Galley]

Andy hadn't had anything resembling stability in her life for a long time. It was a terrible thing that a week had made her comfortable. But here things were changing again. She picked at the bright orange blanket on the bed. Andy wasn't much for caring about what things looked like, but how in the world had bright orange become the camp colors. It was painful on the eyes. Her stomach growled reminding her that she hadn't actually gotten to eat her breakfast since the flying ship had shown up before she had done much more than pick at it.

Andy sighed stood up and put her shoes back on. Back in the hallway, she saw Arthur and Mona talking, she gave them a half-wave and said, "I'm gonna get something to eat. I hadn't finished breakfast so I'm starving." And kept moving towards the Galley. She grabbed a plate and thought of a bagel heavy with cream cheese. Then sat to eat. She had been tempted to just take the bagel back to her room, but she also didn't want to be cooped up more than necessary on the ship.

As Rose settled her bag on her back the hairs on her neck raised. She suddenly wished she had her bow, but she hadn't been planning on coming up here originally. She still had a few hours before she needed to go to the bar. This felt like someone was watching her. The only thing she had handy that could be a weapon was her pocket knife, and that was barely dangerous at least she had some street fighting skills from the bouncer at her bar. She looked at Sierra to see if she looked like she noticed, and then glanced around with a smile trying to look like she didn't notice anything.

Rose caught something in her vision, it looked human, but when she turned to tell Sierra, and then back whoever it had been was gone. "Okay, I'm not normally paranoid, but I am on high alert in the woods cause wild animals. I swear something, or someone was just there." She gestured subtly in the direction she had seen the shape. "Let's go on in, but stay on the trail. And if you see a nice stick that looks like it can be used for walking or thwacking grab it." She advised and then started into the woods, following the trail she had walked hundreds of times.

Colby Jackson

Colby's mouth was full when Tink left and he was annoyed. She didn't even give them a chance to ask if she would drive them back to the park at least. He choked as he tried to finish the bite of food, but then after a big swig of water Matthew had already asked the girls if they would take them back to his car. He was surprised. Matthew seemed socially incapable at times, but he had had the nerve to ask them for a lift. He raised an eyebrow at him and then turned back to the girls. "Thanks, appreciate it."

He took a deep breath. "So two cats? Fluffy and Arty, what breeds? I really like cats. Guess that shouldn't be a surprise considering who my dad is." He gave a small shrug. It explained a lot about him actually. His fickle nature. His love for tricks and cats. Though if he remembered his stories correctly the cat tended to sit in trees a lot. Something Colby distinctly disliked, which steamed from one of his oldest memories. Colby wondered if the memory was old enough that he had still been in Arcadia even.
