She had to get out of here. Had to escape. But could one escape hell? We get what we deserve. She thought. She took a deep breath, it burned and caused her to cough. This all felt so real. It couldn't be a dream. She opened the door that she knew would lead to where the Purifiers were.

"We know what you are." A voice said. Her stomach twisted. "You've been hiding here and we don't want your kind here."

"Purifiers." Ash hissed between her teeth. Andy's eyes went wide, her stomach twisting more than it already had. The men's attention was on Ash. "Run Andy," Jamie said and pushed Andy past them. One of the Purifiers grabbed her by the arm and twisted it behind her back.

"Not so quick, kiddo, are you a muttie?" The man asked, his voice was harsh. Andy shook her head.

"She works here. We rent the room in the basement to her." Jamie said. The Purifier didn't let Andy go. "She's not part of this. Let her go." Jamie was trying his best, fear crossed his features. Andy struggled against the Purifier's grip but couldn't escape.

"Kill the woman. She's the mutant we came for." The man who held Andy said. One of the other men shoved Ash back into the burning building. Jamie tried to fight back, but he was ineffective, and both were gone, pushed into the building. Andy screamed and struggled again, almost breaking free. "Make sure they stay inside till they're dead."

Andy could hear them screaming. Ash was trying to put some of the fire out with her water power, but the building was already too far gone. Their voices and screams ended.

"NO!" Andy yelled. She lashed out with her electrokinesis, but the man seemed unphased. However, she was able to break free of his grip finally. Andy threw a right hook and overestimated missing the man completely. He grabbed at her arm and caught it, but Andy pulled free quickly.

She knew better, this was playing out exactly as it had before. Changing it seemed impossible though. Andy spun around going through the door back into the gym. That was suicide and she knew it, but it was different. Instead of the heat of the fire and the gym burning down around her she was back on the field near Akademos. She was on the ground and in a whole lot of pain.

Something horrifying was happening with the people attacking them. One of them was fall apart in front of them. "She didn't do that." Andy yelled at Cadena. She didn't dare reach out and try to touch her again though. Somehow she had survived and Andy wasn't going to repeat that mistake. She'd have to find another way to fight.

Ed Penior

Location: Bifrost Bridge
Skills: Thamaturgy: Force

The group of Asgardians amused Ed. He was a little sad that Runa had been left out, though he supposed that might have been by choice since she wasn't much of a physical fighter. He couldn't blame the Warriors Three and company for that. Ed saw the red mist and frowned. When the bilgesnipe appeared that made sense. These things looked nasty. He also didn't think he'd feel bad if he blasted them off the bridge.

He pushed some force, a light orange ball of energy hit one of the bilgesnipe, but it did little more than push it back a few steps. He tried again. Hitting it with more force and this time at a better angle, it fell off the bridge. He pushed at another one, having the same issue, he tried a fourth time and was able to knock it off the bridge. That left two of the bilgesnipes on the bridge.

Dalisy didn't even need her super sense to tell her that the person Astrid had wounded had pressed the button for floor 100. She was actually a little disappointed. If it had been her she would have smeared blood on a bunch of buttons to confuse anyone trying to follow her. But whatever.

"This person is either an idiot. Or this is a trap." She leaned more toward the person being an idiot. They weren't supposed to be involved. So no one could have planned for it. Unless the trap had been set for her father originally and the person was improvising. She frowned. Her hand started toward her sword, but she decided against it. She needed to use non-lethal methods, something Dalisy wasn't used to.

"Let's go punch a jerk." She said grinning, holding the elevator doors till everyone who wanted to join in that part of the expedition joined. "Maybe we can lift a print." She said. A funny image of them comparing fingerprints to everyone made her grin grow wider.

Niah Bautista

"Damn, Nancy that was badass. Make sure you get the trophy." Niah said. She was laughing a bit as the adrenaline that had hit her system caused endorphins and all sorts of fun chemicals that no longer had any use coursed through her. She flew over to her friends. Her body shaking a bit. She felt like she might throw up at the same time she wanted to just run a mile.

"Let's get out of here." She started for the exit. Mads had the gem. The dragon was dead. She paused. "We could bring back some of the treasure." They'd only need a little. Gold was worth a lot of money. "Also, do we think I'm going to be playing pilot all the way back? Or can we take a train again?" The return from a quest wasn't always as dangerous, and usually there was a quick way home since the return trip wasn't part of the quest usually.

It was disorienting. Niah hadn't been listening to the conversation since she had been focusing on her sight and couldn't hear. Suddenly she was standing in what looked like Times square. But things weren't right. She glanced around and saw a newspaper stand and caught the date. It was the same day as when they had left. That led to reason that where they were ran at the same time as them. They were in an alternate world.

"Not again." She dropped her super sight and looked at Oli, at least he was here. At least the group as a whole had been brought together. Whenever they split up the world was in more danger. She had dropped her super sight just in time to hear Bonnie and Raynor speak. She turned and looked at Raynor. Things clicked a little in her head leaving more questions than before. "Alright, where can we even go?

Matt wasn't certain if he was in a shoot first ask questions later camp or not. Though he had a feeling he'd at least ICER something that came through the creepy swirling vortex. That felt like some fae shit to him and he did not want to get involved in anything to do with them, if they existed. And in this world who knew. "What do you mean familiar?" he asked Sparky. He knew she had been in the Quantum Realm for a while, was it related. The question didn't matter though. Sparky touched the vortex and the whole group was swept up into it.

Matt reached out to Cass to make sure she was there. Once he reassured himself they were all on the other side, in Times Square apparently. He frowned. He looked at Raynor really confused. "I don't understand." Matt sighed giving up. Whatever had just happened was beyond his comprehension. It wasn't that Matt isn't smart, this just was outside anything he had experienced.

Rose Buckner

Location: The Moors
Skills:

Rose leaned into her mother's touch. The familiarity of it was weird. She had always sort of remembered that touch, but it wasn't quite right. When she was little it had been just a loving touch. Now there was all the tension and unsaid stuff between them. Rose smiled at her mom though. The touch was still nice.

Then Robin said the group was about to perform an ambush. Rose straightened up at that. "I'd love to help, but I would need my bow and arrows back." She smiled. She was really excited about the idea of joining Robin Hood and his men on a mission. She could distinctly remember playing games where she was in such a situation.

Colby Jackson

Location: Agrabah
Skills: Slight of hand

Colby grinned at the kid and nodded, setting up the deck for another trick with quick practiced movements. He couldn't do anything that required actual setup, and this was a clean deck as far as he could tell. He noticed that Willow was watching and moved a little so she'd have a better view. He realized he didn't know much about the girl. She wasn't one of the problem people and was fairly quiet. He didn't have an opinion of her at all.

As Colby went for a bridge shuffle, the cart they were traveling in jostled. The cards slipped from his fingers and went everywhere in the card. "Uh...and this trick is called 52 card pick up." He grinned trying to not seem like he had done it on accident. He started picking up cards though.
Emzie stood near Raynor. They pointed in the direction they needed to head. If they noticed Ryanor's tears they said nothing about it. "The door we want is that way just over 70 meters. It will be past a collection of pipes. The door is locked by an electronic keypad. I can bypass it."

There were corpses littering the ground between them and their destination. Emzie showed little reaction. But started moving. They went quickly toward the door, stopping at it and pulling a wire from themself before inserting it into a small plug on the keypad. It took a moment and during that time Emzie seemed unconcerned with anything that was happening around them. It appeared as if they completely trusted Raynor to deal with any threat.

Andy kept falling. This was what Alice felt like. Andy knew she had to be dying. She knew well enough the dangers of electricity. Her heart ached. Andy couldn't tell if that was emotion or the electricity that had probably stopped her heart. This was dying. She had done this to people.

Surprisingly she wasn't getting cold though. She was getting hotter. It felt like she was surrounded by fire and Andy knew what that felt like well enough. She opened her eyes and saw that she was indeed surrounded by fire. She screamed. Was this hell? That seemed appropriate. She knew a little bit about what Christians thought about hell she had had a foster parent who had insisted she go to Sunday school.

It wasn't hell though. She realized as she saw Purifiers. Unless hell was really perverse. It was one of the worst moments in her life. She had almost died here. She lost the only adults she had loved. Tears that fell evaporated in the heat almost instantly.

Location: The Arena

Andy was hyped up from the practice and spending time with Arthur. When they got to the Arena she sat next to him. It had become a habit to hold his hand. It felt right and she knew their time together was short. She hated that they would be parted soon. It made her want to run away again. Just her and Arthur running away from all of the gods and monsters stuff.

She tried to put herself into enjoying the Campfire, she normally had enjoyed it. But it felt like it might be the last one she'd ever go to. It would be the last one with her Aunt alive probably. She was deep in thought and singing along mechanically when the fire roared up. She yelped surprised being pulled from her thoughts and looked around trying to see what caused it.

"That was weird. Wonder what caused that." She said to Arthur.

Location: Senate tent
Skills:

Niah had been relieved that Nancy and Mads had sworn that they were (to their knowledge) not possessed. She couldn't handle the idea of having one of her best friends being the enemy. Everything was falling apart. These were the last days they'd have together. Before the Senate meeting, she had cried alone for a moment. She had to be strong for the others so she didn't let them see. But it was enough. She could keep a cool attitude at the Senate meeting now.

"As much as many of us would love to banish Leandra we know she was in the prophecy. I'd much rather keep her under the watch of people than let her out into the world and have her show up and the worst moment. We don't know how compromised she is." Niah chewed on her lip thinking. "I could bind her into an Oath, but that may not even be enough."

Dalisy was honestly surprised when Bauldr gave them permission to keep investigating. She had expected the lot of them to be told to go to a room and stay put. He also said something that made her proud. Her father had been investigating and hadn't found the invisible person. She had done that!

She turned to the others and grinned. "I'm gonna catch the elevator and see if there are more clues there." She told them, before going and pressing the recall button the elevator she knew the invisible person had gone into. She'd, from there, check to see if there was a blood trail. Hopefully, she'd be able to track down their assailant. They wouldn't be able to kill them, but if they caught them then the Thanes could do something about it.
