...I'm crazy. Got a doctor's note and everything.

Been role playing for over fifteen years, no stranger to forum rp'ing, as that is the way I learned to roleplay.

I don't bite, so don't be afraid to say hi.

I mostly prefer 1x1's, and am on PST. (Hello from the West Coast of the USA.)

If you are interested in rps, really, don't be afraid to say hi!!

Or if you just wanna talk, I'm usually very open.

For those of you still here, have some Pusheen!

Katalina was in heaven! Sure there were a lot of drunk kids around, but here she was, getting to spend time with her new girlfriend, dancing, hanging out and making out. Sure partying was not her usual thing, but with Ali, she felt comfy. She also had the chance to catch up with some of her other friends, and meet a few new people as well.

The two hours seemed to fly by in a blur of talking, dancing and making out, and Kata needed a rest. Her headache was acting up a bit from the smoke of the fire, and something else. Something in her mind was buzzing, and she wasn't sure what was going on. She tried to push it out of her mind, but it was still there. This horrible lingering feeling that was gnawing at her. Her parents were sure to be upset at her, also Alicia's parents for sneaking out with her. She rubbed her temples and continued to drink more water as she watched.

All of a sudden Jade got up and started yelling. Kata was about to reassure the girl that she wasn't staring at her, but then the ground suddenly split, pushing Kata one way, far away. She fell onto the ground with a loud 'ouch' as her hands grazed along the rocks. She laid there for a moment before pushing herself up and looking around. The party was now in ruins, and a voice in the back of her mind was screaming at her to run. She looked around, realizing she had lost Alicia somewhere in the shuffle.

Panic filled her mind. Her girlfriend was somewhere, and she had no idea where Ali was. "ALI!!! Where are you!?" She brushed her hands off on her outfit, smearing them with the blood from her scratched up hands. She pushed through the woods, calling out for Ali and anyone else for a few moments before she heard Ali's voice ringing through the forest. "ALICIA!" She ran towards the sound of Ali's voice and found her girlfriend looking pained on the ground and ran over to her side.

"I'm here babe, oh my gosh what happened to you, let me see you." Kata kneeled down next to Alicia and looked her over, and noticed that her right leg was at a wrong angle and cursed silently. "Shit... you look hurt babe. C'mon, I'll carry you out of here..." She offered her arms to Alicia, hoping to carry her princess style out of the forest. But... to where? She didn't know yet.

The party was okay in Nina's mind. She got to talk with a few of her friends that she didn't get to see often due to work and catch up with some of them. Olivia looked happy with Grant, which was good. Nina was happy her friend had found someone, same with Alicia. There were quite a few new happy couples at this party, which caused Nina's good mood to slip a bit. Her own thoughts were scattered on various subjects, and while she wanted to be happy for her friends, she was still all mixed up from what had happened earlier that day. The image of Rachel haunted her, and quite honestly, all she wanted to do was curl up in a bed and cry alone.

She was barely paying attention when Jade got up and started yelling at everyone. Nina had gone off to get a bottle of water, since that was all she was drinking. She felt the earth shake and move under her and used a back handspring, (probably flashing someone her knickers) to get out of the way. She used a few old gymnastic moves to avoid the earth splitting around her. However, when it finished, she realized she was very alone.

"Petyr? Tess? Ash? Ev? Anyone? Someone?" As she cried out, she heard no answers. Fear filled her mind. She was alone, without anyone. "PETYR!? WHERE ARE YOU!?" Tears welled up in her eyes as she scanned around, and noticed people running into the forest. She took off after them, screaming for her brother. She ran as fast as her legs could take her, not noticing that her new dress was snagging and tearing.

After a moment she finally saw someone she knew and ran up and threw her arms around him. "Ash! Thank god I found you! I can't find my bother or Tess and I'm lost and I..." Tears ran down her cheeks as she clung to him and felt his arms around her. She didn't care how it looked, or about anything else. She had found a friend and she needed him more than ever in that moment.
You know I'm still here. Always.

I will have a Samantha/ Kata post up within the week. Might need you pretty lady for some help with it.

Wanted to let you know that my computer is acting up right now, for some reason. I'm borrowing someone else's laptop at the moment. It won't let me do, well, most anything, really. I hope to get it fixed in the next day or two, but I wanted to give you a heads-up, just in case.

Oh noes!!! I hope it gets fixed soon. Thanks for the heads up. Take your time. I understand computer troubles.

Once Everett dropped her and Ali off at the party, Kata thanked Everett for the ride. She had forgotten how long of a trip it would have been to walk up to the lodge from Alicia's house. She held her hand out to Ali and started heading towards where all the people were.
"Seems like only a few people have turned up huh? And almost no adults I can see so far... hmm... you still feel alright being here hon?" She turned to Ali, giving her girlfriend's hand a small squeeze.

Alicia took Katalina's hand and smiled at her girlfriend as she got out of Everett's car and smiled at him and thanked him for the ride up to the lodge, she was glad she still had his number and managed to text him. Alicia looked around there were a few cars parked outside but not that many as of yet. "I couldn't blame them for what happened earlier, though I'm sure that there will be more coming later." Alicia said as she gently squeezed Kat's hand lovingly. "I'm alright what about you, we could just go back home, if you want to?" Alicia asked looking into her girlfriend's eyes.

"I think we can stick it out here for a bit, but if things start getting a bit messy, we should head home. Just hopefully no one is planning on getting too sloshed to drink." Kata smiled as she looked at Ali and pulled her close. "Let's go join the others then."

As they walked towards the fire pit and the benches, Kata noticed both Ash and Nina walking over and waved to them. She didn't know Nina well, but it seemed right to wave. She also noticed Gerard and gave him a small nod. She did notice that Jade was not there yet. "Hmmm she must be on her way." She mused mostly to herself.

"I agree with you, once things get way to crazy we can head back." Alicia agreed as she followed behind Kat holding her hand tightly as they headed over towards the fire pit, she looked around seeing the lights were all set up. Alicia spotted Nina, Ash and Gerard and waved to the three of them, she knew Nina pretty well since they worked together at Simone's Gerard not that much as well as Ashton.

Alicia looked around for a spot to sit down and saw some chairs set up by the fire pit. "What do you want to do love?" Alicia asked.

Kata sat down next to Ali and paused in thought. "Doesn't seem like much is going on right now, but it does look like we're the first people to really arrive." She looked at the fire and paused again for a moment. "Do you want something to drink? I'll see if I can find something for us."

Alicia sat down looking down at the fire pit for a few seconds thinking about Rachel Lewis, then she quickly turned to look at her girlfriend and smiled softly. "I would love to have a drink." Alicia said softly as she held her hand and leaned in to give Kat a gentle kiss on the cheek.

Kata returned the kiss. "What kind of drink hon?"

Alicia smiled when Kat returned the kiss and leaned back thinking for a moment. "I dunno a beer I guess if there is any." Shrugging slightly.

"I'll see what they have." Kata got up and walked around a bit till she spotted a cooler near the fire. She opened in and grimaced a bit. She found the beer for Ali quickly, but had to dig her hand around a bit for a bottle of water. She wished she could have just used her power, but she figured in public like this, it would be ill advised. She eventually pulled out a bottle of water from all the way at the bottle of the cooler, and then walked over to Alicia. She handed the can of beer to her before sitting down and opening her water. "For you my lady, one can of beer."

Alicia watched as Kat got up and headed over towards the cooler, she stared at her girlfriend she was so happy to be with her. Alicia looked around some more as more people started to arrive, when Kat came back Alicia smiled gently taking the can of beer from Kat's hand. "Thank you my princess." Alicia said playfully as she opened the can, and looked down at it for a few seconds before taking a sip she never had beer before.

Katalina seemed to blush a bit when Ali called her princess. "Just hope you never have to go looking for me in a castle." She took a sip of water. "You okay hon?" She noticed Ali stare at the beer for a few moments.

"I wouldn't mind going up to the tower in a castle to save you from any kind of monster." Alicia grinned as she sipped more of the beer before setting it down on the ground and shrugged slightly. "Just the whole thing with Rachel earlier, it kind of feels weird going to a party just hours after she died is all." Alicia said looking at Katalina.

Kata giggled a bit and then sighed. "It does seem weird. I mean I know this was suppose to be a memorial thing but... doesn't seem like it anymore. I'm terrified to be honest. They said they put that man behind bars, but for it to start up again... I'm surprised that some people haven't just packed up and left town yet." She sipped her water and looked at the fire.

Alicia wrapped her arm over Katalina's shoulder and pulled her closely and gently ran her hand through Kat's red hair lovingly. "We have each other to keep us safe though." Alicia said reassuringly as she leaned down and took another drink of her beer.

Kata nodded and pulled Ali close and kissed her temple lightly. "That we do." She just hoped that would be enough to get them through the night.

Training Room
Thursday Morning

"Yes, it is Recruit Orientation. You are in the right room Miss Castiellia." A voice spoke from behind Sophie. Into the room walked a rather tall man, with dark skin. He was heavily muscled, or a least in the arms from what was shown.

He looked around the room and spotted Talia. "Hello Miss Jones. Glad to see you both found your way here. It seems it will just be the three of us. There was suppose to be two others but... well... you don't need to know what is going on with them." He slid to sit on one of the tables at the front, and pulled a huge envelope out of a briefcase.

"First things first, some temporary ID cards. You will need to have your picture taken soon, but this way you don't need to get visitor passes every day. Also Miss Jones, here is a permanent tag for your dog to indicate that he is a work dog. If you go talk to Mrs. Rivenridge in HR, she will make sure you get a vest for him as well for when you're in the field. But call her Doc Rivenridge, or Stella. It gets confusing at times with her and her husband. Miss Castiellia, I believe you've already met our tech guru, Doctor Tobias Rivenridge. Miss Jones, you will get the chance to meet him later. For now, let's start with orientation." He reached over and handed each of them an ID card with their name on it.

Kyle fished out a laptop and a pocket projector out of his briefcase next. He spent a few moments setting them up, and a power point was up on the screen behind him. The cheesy opening slide said: "Welcome to Sector X!"

"So for you both to know, the name for Sector X started as a joke, but eventually became well used among those that worked here, and so the name stuck. However, the mission statement is the same. We are here to help Psychics and protect their best interests, as well as make sure we have a place in this world. However, we do make sure that we interact well with those with out our gifts."

"Luckily for both of you," Kyle hit a button and another slide popped up with the title of 'Shadow', "neither of you have met anyone from Shadow. They rather oppose us in many ways. I don't know if either of you is aware of what happened here in Arlington on Monday, but to give you a brief overview, while tracking another Psychic, Shadow brutally murdered several people in the pursuit of one Psychic. This also happened in public. You will both come to know more about Shadow with time, but that is not why either of you are here."

"So, first day will mostly be me showing you around, and get you ready for traning. After that, we will figure out where your skills will be the most useful... however Miss Castiellia, seems there is a note here that Dr. Rivenridge would like to have you work with him... hmm interesting. Miss Jones, I believe you will most likely get field work, if you're alright with that?"

Kyle smiled and closed his laptop. "So before we get too much into it, any questions from either of you?"
WOOO!

So I will start the training post tomorrow!

Soooo... I lied. Sorry. I will work on it either Tuesday or Wednesday. Today kinda flew by. My apologies.

Nina had been woken up when Everett had come by and summoned Dags. She rolled over a bit and sighed and then sat up. She looked over at the mirror in the room and then herself. She looked like she had seen a ghost still, her eyes haunted a bit.

She reached over for her bag and pulled out her hairbrush and then paused. The new dress from Everett was right on top, taunting her a bit. It was a lovely dress, but was it appropriate for what what happening? She shrugged and tugged off her grungy clothing and then tugged on the dress and looked a herself in the mirror. The dress was perfect. It clung in the right places, and looked better than any of her other clothing.

As she was trying to figure out what to do with her hair, her phone buzzed. She saw a text from Everett and sighed. "Be down in a moment." She texted back and tossed her phone on the bed. She decided to tug her hair up into a loose bun, with some curls hanging around her face. She tucked her phone away, and headed downstairs.

As Nina was heading downstairs, her phone buzzed once again. When she pulled it back out, she found that she had a text from Ashton.

A bunch of shit went down today huh? Is the party still on despite the..thing? Not really in a party mood, but don't want to be alone either.
Ashton

She paused for a moment and realized that she was not the only one suffering from what had happened. "Hey, yeah. So much shit, but the party is still on and I'm there. Petyr and I are crashing at the Lodge tonight b/c dad out of town and don't wanna be in house alone. However, I'd love to see you at the party. Don't want to be alone either." She texted back and then paused. Her phone photo background made her sad, especially today. She flipped through the photos and found one of her and Ash from the past summer and smiled a bit.

Ashton had bid goodbye to Jay after they had magically teleported back to Ash's home. Thankfully, Jay had been able to calm Ashton down a bit, so there was no danger of him electrocuting everyone... For now, at least. He quickly checked his phone when it buzzed, managing a hint of a smile at Nina's prompt reply. So the party was still happening, eh? That was a ballsy move on Everett's part--would parents even allow their children to attend?

Be right there then, I guess.
Ashton

After he had replied to Nina, Ashton climbed into his car to head over to Everett's place.

Nina felt her phone buzz and she flipped over to messages and saw the text from Ash and managed a smile. "See you soon then." She stepped outside and sat down on one of the benched of the porch of the Wilcox Lodge, waiting for Ash to arrive. It would have been rude not to be there to greet him.

A few minutes later, Ashton's car pulled up to the lodge. Before jumping out of his car, Ashton took a moment or two to compose himself before facing all of the party goers. He didn't look like complete hell, did he? The last thing he needed right now was to suddenly become Zeus and blast everyone with lightning. He was a bit tired right now, so that was a good sign.

He heaved a sigh as he swung his car door open. He lifted a hand in greeting to Nina as he sauntered over to her. "Hey Nina. You doing okay?"

Nina walked over and hugged Ash tightly. "I could be doing better. But what about you? You didn't... oh you did, didn't you? Oh Ash, I'm sorry." Nina knew that Ash was probably going through hell right now, considering what had happened a few years ago. "I'm here for you Ash."

Ashton wasn't the type to shed tears very easily or openly in front of other people. But when Nina said that she was here for him, something inside him snapped. While no tears escaped his eyes--thankfully--he gave a shuddering breath as he buried his face in Nina's hair. His arms tightened around the shorter girl.

"Thanks Nina." There were so many words that Ashton wanted to say, so many emotions that he wanted to display but he didn't. There was no point in it now. The only one that mattered currently was his gratitude to his friend.

Nina's own grasp tightened around Ash as she heard his shuddering breath and felt him bury his head in her hair. She ran a hand along his back, in a comforting gesture. No where in her thoughts were how this might look to others, just right then and there, she wanted to be there for her friend. "Anytime Ash. You know I care about you, right?"

After a few moments of silence, Ashton loosened his grip around Nina and leaned back. There was now a half smile upon his face. It was a little faint and strained, but it was there nonetheless. He poked Nina's forehead while saying, "Wow Nina. Tell me something I don't know."

There was another pause. "In all seriousness... Yeah, I do. And I care about you too."

Nina blushed a bit and rubbed her forehead a little where he had poked and looked up at him. "I know. Thanks. So, how are you holding up? Anything new I should know about besides the obvious?" She pulled back a little bit, a look of curiosity on her face.

Ashton hesitated for a moment. Why yes, there was something new but he didn't really want to make a scene. He gave a glance around and saw that more people were beginning to arrive at the party. He nodded to Nina and grabbed her hand. "Let's go somewhere secluded first, I don't want to make a scene."

He lead Nina over a little ways away, where they would be obscured by trees. After giving one more glance to make sure that there wasn't many people around, he released her hand and backed away from her a little. "Guess you're not the only one with cool powers." He said with a slight smirk. He held his right hand at around shoulder height before concentrating his energy and emotion to his hand. A few moments later, Ashton's hand crackled with electricity.

"Woah... you're like Verona's personal Zeus. That's really cool Ash. I can't generate my power, so I'll admit I'm a little envious. May I ask how you found out?" Nina looked at Ash's hand in amazement.

Ashton gave a slight grimace at her question. "I uh.. May have accidentally destroyed a tree." He closed his hand and his eyes and took a deep breath. The electricity disappeared, and a slight headache took its place. He opened his eyes and grinned. "Zeus, eh? That sounds both amazing and horrifying."

"Oh, but you probably don't want to touch me for a little while. I'll probably shock you."

"I mean more with the powers than personality. As for accidentally destroying a tree, might have done that a little myself yesterday." Nina looked a little sheepish at that. "Was trying to see what I could do. But I don't quite have control of my power yet." She noticed the electricity disappear and nodded. "Noted. After you power done, no touching for a bit." Nina reached for the lighter she had stolen from her father and flipped it over in her hand a bit.

"This is insane, Nina." Ashton chuckled, "We have superpowers. And we're talking about them like it's normal. Controlling fire has got to be the coolest thing ever."

"You're telling me. But, I guess it is normal now. As for it being the coolest thing ever, I don't know about that. I mean, I burnt breakfast to a crisp, nearly burnt down a forest, and I gotta make sure I keep my emotions in check... not that it has been easy lately. I mean, everything is so confusing right now. I thought things were getting better but, bam, today happened and I... I just want to get the hell out of this town Ash. I can't do it... not again." Nina could feel the tears welling up in her eyes again. She was trying hard not to think about it, but well, her she was, doing just that.

Ashton instinctively moved closer to her to throw his arm around her, but he paused. He wasn't completely sure that he was completely electricity free. After awkwardly lowering his hand, he crouched down a bit to peer into Nina's face.

"I know," Ashton said quietly, "And I wish that I could tell you to run away from here and never look back... But I can't. I hate this town and I don't want to stay either, but I dunno. I don't think that leaving right now isn't going to help."

Ashton ran his hand through his hair with a frustrated sigh. "Sorry Nina. I don't know what I'm saying, and I don't know what to tell you except... I know how you feel."

"No, you're probably right. Leaving won't really help, just... I don't know anymore. I'm sorry Ash. I know I probably shouldn't dump this on you right now, but I got the feeling you'd understand. Seems I was right." She flipped the lighter over in her hand again. "I just wish I could go back a few days, y'know, to when everything made sense?"

"Everything has changed so much in like the past two days." Ashton murmured in agreement. "We're all a little on edge. But like all cheesy movie quotes and standard cliche statements, I guess we have to make the best of it. I wish we didn't."

Nina nodded, and tucked the lighter away. "I guess so. Should we go join the others? I'm sure at least Petyr will notice I'm not there... but honestly, this just feels wrong. Everett must have something lose in his head to have this party still going on despite everything."

Ashton gave a grimace. "A party on the night someone was murdered... Yeah, it's pretty twisted. But at least it'll take our minds off of it? I'm sure he doesn't mean any harm. But yeah, we should go back. I wonder how many people are gong to show up?"

Ashton started heading over to the lodge, trying to at least attempt to imitate the usual confidence he had in his step. Nina was right. This party did feel wrong.

"You're right. At least something to keep our minds off of things." Nina sighed and headed back to the lodge with Ash, keeping a bit quiet. Her mind was racing through a thousand other thoughts, but one stuck with her. "I'm keeping my damn lighter with me tonight."

I figure Petyr and Nina might live in New Town, while Kata and her family live in Hillside.
Might see about a twin collab, talking about what is going on, but we will see. *shrugs* Otherwise hmmm well maybe more fluff with Ali and Kata.
