Bio

...I'm crazy. Got a doctor's note and everything.

Been role playing for over fifteen years, no stranger to forum rp'ing, as that is the way I learned to roleplay.

I don't bite, so don't be afraid to say hi.

I mostly prefer 1x1's, and am on PST. (Hello from the West Coast of the USA.)

If you are interested in rps, really, don't be afraid to say hi!!

Or if you just wanna talk, I'm usually very open.

For those of you still here, have some Pusheen!

@Apokalipse@McHaggis@Undine

@lovely complex and I are gonna have to drop out from this RP since school is getting a bit too hectic for me and lovely has lost interest due to the slower pacing. We understand people have lives and such, but we're just used to faster paced roleplays so nothing against anyone.

Thanks for having us and we enjoyed what we were able to participate in!

Sorry to see you two go.

Interacting with: Elise, Mary @Kirah, Athena @Nallore and anyone else at the Tituba Table

"So what do you think Steve? Do you think they'll let us into the dorms sometime tonight, or are we gonna have a big campout in the hall?" The quokka looked at his master with his usual smile and nuzzled Brian.

"Yeah, I thought so. Anyways, how about some food then, eh mate?" Brian made sure that Steve was firmly on his shoulder as he walked out of the lounge and into the great hall. He was trying his hardest not to show it, but he was worried. They had arrived at the school late, which sent all the upperclassmen into fits of gossip, since the were never late. Never. Apparently it was due to the centaurs? Brian had wanted to get out of the car and see them, but had been forbidden. No matter how much he had tried to bug the drivers, they wouldn't let him out. So he had spent most of the time that he was in the Peregrine trying to see if he could catch glimpses of the creatures, but to no avail.

He sat down at the Tituba Table, and Steve hopped off his shoulder and sat down next to him. He looked around and offered smiles to all that was there and then a nod to Mary. She was his fellow classmate/ yearmate, and there was something about her that drew him to her. He wasn't quite sure what it was yet. "Hey Mary, Elise, Athena. Hope you guys are enjoying your food." He served himself some of the rather delicious smelling food and went about eating it. Man, was he hungry.
Elise Reed and Mary Winthrop

Elise was nervous. First the Peregrine had arrived late at school, and then they had all been shoved into the tiny lounge together. However, she was putting on a brave face for her cousin. Mary was leaning against a wall, curled up in a corner almost, away from as many people as she could get herself away from, which was nearly impossible. She was reading a book, but kept looking up and scanning around her. Elise was next to Mary, and had her hand on Mary’s head, gently petting to reassure the smaller girl.

Once it was announced that they could go get some food, Elise let out a small sigh. It was getting later and later, and all she wanted was food and sleep. However, the sleep was being denied for right now, so food would have to do. ”You hungry Mary? We can go to the hall and get some food if you want.”

“Yeah,” Mary stood up, closing her book and sliding it into her bag. “Finally.” She gave a smile, her usual one, the one she wore when she knew someone was looking.

Elise, having gotten to know Mary very well, knew that smile. She helped her cousin up and kept an arm around her as they headed to the dining hall. She found a few spots at the end of the Tituba house table and sat down next to Mary. She started serving herself some food as she looked around. She noticed that several of the professors were missing, which was odd. What was going on? First the centaurs were revolting, causing them to be late, and they couldn’t go outside, or to the dorms. What was going on outside that they were hiding from the students?

“Why aren’t they letting us into the dorms?” Mary asked after a few moments of silence.

”I don’t know Mary. This is the first year they haven’t let us in after dinner. Also they cancelled the opening ceremony. Something is going on, and I don’t like it.”

“Where are we going to sleep?” Mary frowned slightly over her potatoes.

”I doubt they could keep us out of the dorms all night, but if it continues like this, maybe the Hall? I don’t know Mary, this is the first time it’s happened. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you are somewhere safe tonight.” Elise paused between bites of chicken as she looked around. They weren't even having the candle ceremony? What was going to happen to all the first years?

Mary nodded. There was still worry etched on her face a bit, but her general smile returned. “That would be like a giant sleepover.”
”You’ve never really been to a big sleepover before, huh? It would be fun, but I doubt they’d have us sleep out here without reason.” Elise reached over and gently rubbed Mary’s shoulder. ”So, are you excited to start Care of Magical Creatures this year?”

“No I haven’t.” Mary paused slightly. “I am excited. Also Arithmancy, and Study of Ancient Runes.”

”I didn’t take Ancient Runes, but Arithmancy is good. The professor is nice, and if you need any help, don’t feel afraid to ask them questions. Care of Magical Creatures is fun, you’ll start with some rather benign creatures, but that doesn’t mean they aren't interesting.

Mary gave a small nod. “I was reading the course book.” Mary tapped her bag. She gave a strange smile, very unlike her usual one. “Such strange creatures.”

Elise smiled. It was hard not to when Mary was giving an almost genuine smile. ”Yeah, I’d imagine for you they’d be extra strange. However, don’t worry. Most of them look worse than they really are. If you’re lucky, you might get to see the Siren’s in the lake.”

“I’d like to learn more about them. I’ve always been a bit fascinated by them.”

”If you’re lucky, maybe you might learn how to attract one of them.” Elise was happy to see Mary so interested in her class. She continued to eat, still wondering what was going on.
@Kirah and I are gonna work on a Mary/ Elise post tomorrow... and I will do a Brian post after that...

Also need to catch up... long weekend.

SCHOOOOOOOLLLLSS OUT FOREVER!
Samantha Wellington

Location: The Gym
Time: After the Headmistress’ New Speech

Samantha could not believe what she was hearing out of Emma Standiford’s mouth. The school, a place she had called home for many many years, where she had gotten her own education, fed off of the students abilities. Her hormones, already in flux due to her pregnancy, and also being muddled with earlier, were in overdrive.

“You’ve always known, and yet have kept this school open? And full of people for it to eat!? What kind of monster are you Emma!”

“It’s not as easy as all of that Samantha.” The Headmistress looked tired. This morning she had looked her normal hardy self, but the last few hours had drained years from her. “I wish I could explain it in a way that would make everything better, but I can’t. This place...” She shook her head and trailed off. Her voice was quiet and didn’t carry like it would normally, as such only those closest to her could hear her, especially her next words. “Is the monster.”

“So, has everyone that has died here in an ‘accident’ or ‘mysterious circumstance’ been this school’s snack? And you are just okay with it? Why let students in if you’re just going to toss them to the school, or do you just not care? Is this some sick joke to you?” Samantha was well aware that most of the students were watching her yell at the headmistress at this point, but didn’t care. She had lost someone, and now she knew why. This damn fucking school.

“I’ve never been okay with it. I would love to have never been here. To never know that someone would die next. That could be the best life, but it isn’t that simple Samantha. I can’t just turn the school off if there’s no one here.” The woman was starting to look flustered, that was a first.

Samantha narrowed her eyes at Emma and then let out a frustrated growl. “You will explain everything to me later, but right now, it seems we need to implement some new damn rules around here to make sure we don’t lose anymore students.” She turned towards the bleachers and let out a cough to get their attention.

“I know many of you are most likely distressed and upset to being stranded here, but for now, we need to all work together to figure a way out of here. I know for many of you Miss Snow left you a clue of sorts, to help us figure out a way out. However, do not go pursue these clues on your own. From now on, I want everyone to be in groups of two or more, preferably of three. Curfew is redacted, and classes are most likely cancelled. Emma, don’t you even dare try to argue with me on this. However, don’t do anything stupid, and please, keep yourselves safe, in every meaning of the word.” She looked up at some of the older students as she said this. “We teachers will still be here, but not in the teaching capacity. If you don’t feel safe, come to us, and we will help you. We want to get the hell out of here as much as you do.”

Samantha could just hear Emma’s voice behind her, “A splendid plan.” It carried no notes of sarcasm. Samantha let out a small sigh. Sure, it wasn’t much of a plan, but it would do, for now.
