Fate/Rubidia: Empty Desires

@KoL Most stories about king Arthur that I've seen that give a specific date usually put him in 5th or 6th century, after the fall of Rome. It is also speculated that the myth was inspired by a Roman general, among other people, so Arthur would actually be older than Charlemagne.

Actually, I forgot about that because I was really distressed yesterday, so thank you. I'll try to think before writing things that'll embarrass me like those again. You was the only person really trying to be helpful instead of just criticizing, thank you again.

Though, @poog the pig, I gotta say that the amount of criticism and nitpicking about my character, was borderline bullying IMO, cause the only Servant to be questioned in this RP was mine. I don't want to go checking everyone's character and pointing out things that could be possibly wrong, but I hope this unfair treatment doesn't repeat itself again after I rewrite Saber. This caused me to lose some of the interest that I had in this RP, not because Saber is a little weaker, but because of the way people treated me to the point that I had to reveal her identity and back-up some of my claims just to make it stop.

It was really unfair, that's just what I wanted to say. Now, off I go to the IC.

"Be thankful to my master, Lancer." Saber said s she dismissed the glinting sword back to the aether. She still faced Lancer with imperial composure, a steely gaze that would put even that womanizer Astolfo back in his place when he started to get too cozy with Saber, stared up at the tall, buxom woman as the petite knight said "I, Charlotte, who once ruled this land under the name of Charlemagne, swear that my blade shall be the one to strike down your spears once we cross paths again."

Saber then turned her back to Lancer and started to walk away along with her Masters, just to turn and address Darryl before leaving "Caster's Master, you seem like the only one here worthy of proposing an alliance to. Once my Masters have settled their workshop, come discuss the terms, of you're interested."

Despite her royal bearing in the presence of others, once Saber was alone with her Masters, she couldn't help but puff her cheeks and pout "Why you did that, Master? That vixen molested me and insulted both of you and still you allow her to walk away like that?" Behaving every sliver like the little girl that she looked like.

But now that I'm doing it, I remembered that Saber shouldn't be weaker than Arthuria in her full power because she's about 200 years older, thus more powerful by Nasu's standard of older = better. You know, I'll redo my research on her to see if I'm still missing anything.

Historically important figure whose empire Germany was a part of... So, Charlemagne or Otto? Probably Charlemagne, Otto isn't really famous.

TBH, if it's really Charlemagne, I'd say Arthur even as he is in myths doesn't compare to him in historical relevancy.

Bingo, sir/ma'am! She's Charlemagne, but with a catch. She's actually a twin sister that took over her brother's place when he died of a disease while the two were still young. And yes, even bloody Arthur can't compare with someone that has been dubbed the Father of Europe among a million other things and had even his own Knights, the Paladins (who are all strong HSs, BTW). I'll base her of Astolfo like I should have from the very beginning and just crank her up a bit.

Probably I should have just copied my trap goddess from the get-go, really.

Now that I think about it. Wouldn't the class rooms be much cooler if they were styled like of fashioned lecture halls, instead of modern classroom style? It makes more sense for a school in a castle, and would look like were in a very prestigious school, so I'll run with that if no one has a problem, @Spriggs27?

Ok, ok. To avoid further problems, I'll rework Saber a lot. I had poog's approval for that draft, if he said that Saber was so above everyone I would have changed her before beginning the RP. I don't want to ruin everyone's time just because no one told me that I have gone a little too far.

Let's take a look at Vlad III here when he was summoned in Romania, the literal place he lived in and defended in his life. He gains the maximum amount of fame possible for a heroic spirit turned servant as explicitly stated by Apocrypha. Here are his stats, mind you, which are also likely buffed by Demonic Defender of the State.

Endurance: B
Agility: A
Magic: A
Luck: D
Noble Phantasm: A

Here are his stats when he is forced out of homeland advantage.

AGI: B
MGI: A
LCK: D
Noble Phantasm: B

As you can see, his stats do not triple or anything. They just rank up.

A rank magic resistance is exceptionally rare for a reason. Not everyone has the luxury of no selling Casters from the Age of Gods without a second thought. Dragon's Blood/Phantasmal Pedigree is a way of attaining this. The more common way of getting this is by having strong Faith, like Joan of Arc, Saint George, etc. Christian protections, particularly those regarding saints, grant A rank MR. However without extenuating circumstances, A rank MR should not be possible, and I have no idea where the "cannot go below class specifications" thing comes from when it doesn't apply to parameters and other classes' skills either.

I'll agree with you on the stats, then. I forgot about how Vlad works. I'll shift Saber's numbers right away and drop the + signs that are in surplus. Thought the magic resistance has explanation, so it'll stick the way it's, since Saber's a saint of sorts and had received more than her fair share of blessings when she was alive. If it really bothers that much, I can drop it to B+, though. It seems that I'll have to rework some of her numbers a little. I really didn't guessed that she would be so exaggerated like that, since that CS is just the same rough draft that I sent to @poog the pig and got approved.

The only thing that I'll not compromise with is the NP, because my Saber can't lose to the other Kings when it comes to that without a really good for why someone who's historically put on the same league as Arthur and Alexander the Great would not have a EX rank NP like they all have.

You know that one of the +s can be dropped and only activate under special conditions. The other one is more or less permanent since it's a bonus from her summoning.

If the + signs activate under special conditions(rare special conditions at that), then that's fine. A temporary quadrupling in strength to overpower a sword lock or something is reasonable. I'm just saying that every stat being better than Heracles's under mad enhancement by a value of one hundred is really odd if its something that's permanently there.

Like I said above, but I can't reveal more before uncovering Saber's identity. Also, even if her stats are nominally big, their base is still low, so for example, if someone has a shield that prevents damage from attacks bellow B-rank, Saber would still be unable to harm them without her NP because her base is a crappy C.

Anyway, I want to say that Saber is a high king among the Heroic Spirits, meaning that just like the rest of them, Arthuria and her Avalon, Iskandar and the Ionian Hetaroi and Gil and the Gate of Babilon, Saber has a EX-rank NP. When she activates her sword Caster will probably squee like a fangirl. Good think that I plan to talk with Slam and Wong about having Saber's and Caster's masters form an alliance. Darryl is the master that Saber would trust more after her own, given his tendencies.
