Regardless of that, I don't mean to start any fights. I just thought that it was a great chance to make use of the incredible situational nature of one of Atalanta's skills, as well as make the best use of the fact that she is in her homeland and time.

I'm just playing the huge advantage she should have on these conditions, but I can edit/tone down it if this is not for the best. Even if it makes sense considering how Fate isn't built on logic in first place.

I have lots of qualms because it makes no damn sense. Just because a skill CAN do something doesn't mean you HAVE to do it and turn chronology into a mess. Also you basically do directly invalidate my post by getting there first.

... and really, identifying Medusa because "she smells of snakes"? How many snake-related things are there in Greek myth? :P

But such a thought makes half of the Noble Phantasms and skills of the whole Fate series useless. It's pretty much like saying that you can't use Fragarach to counter someone after they launched their attack because this would invalidate their post. Or that a character with a ridiculous luck such as Artoria and Gilgamesh can't just break reality by breathing.

Aesthetics of the Last Spurt is something so situational that I had to spend the whole time of the previous iteration of this RP trying to find a way to put it to use. Don't throw a bucket of cold water on me just because it makes no sense, that's just how Fate is.

That said, if such a thing becomes a problem, I can easily edit it to Atalanta firing after Nero's arrival.

As for Medusa, I would find it even more of a stretch for Atalanta to not have a very good guess of who she's. Their legends are contemporaneous and Perseus' story was one of the most famous ones of the Classic Mythology. Furthermore, no matter how many snakes there are on Greece, once one is known for being a beautiful woman who lived in an island in the Aegean Sea.

It's just as bad as seeing a Greek Spider woman and not guessing that she's Arachne. Just makes no sense at all to me.
@KoL
Have I always been in charge of the harpies?

Dunno, as long as I have my share of chicken salad I shall allow you to be so.
Ascelia Vizwhurz
"I appreciate your concern," Ascelia replied as she followed Nero while fending off any attackers that somehow still managed to pass through through the Servants' almighty push.

In retrospect, their roles as Masters in such a such a situation were hardly anything more than being a Prana battery for the Servants, instead of battling other Masters, like in a normal Holy Grail War. In fact, even this role was dubious when they are always immersed in environments so rich in Mana such as this one or the facility.

Perhaps, it was more correct to say that they were conduits, then?

Whatever the case was, Ascelia didn't have the time to dwell on it. Soon enough, she found herself in the heart of the current conflict. A mysterious battle between two purple clad female beings that could only be Heroic Spirits, one of which was very clearly a Caster. The last thing they needed to brighten their day was for someone to irresponsibly call for their attention and—

"What do you think you're doing?" Ascelia was shocked with Nero's brazenness. Nevertheless, now that the deed was done, the only thing left to do was brace themselves for any retaliation from the unknown Heroic Spirits, or hope that they would listen to Nero.

"Very well, whatever happens happens, now. I guess," the Magus Hunter said as she took cover behind one of the nearby temples, keeping Nero and the duo of Heroic Spirits in her line of sight.
Atalanta
Atalanta looked around right after unleashing her Noble Phantasm. It seemed like the reactions to it were a mixed bag between all of the other Master and Servants, not that the Leonine Archer gave them much mind. The pride of Heroic Spirit from the Age of the Gods had a far higher influence on her. Not to say that no one of them knew that it was in fact meant to be a 'greeting' so that the Witch could know of her presence in case she was indeed at Colchis, instead of Corinth.

Nevertheless, no reply came. Atalanta was left slightly behind as everyone else advanced, which wasn't a problem at all as, somehow she managed to arrive at scene of the battle between the two Heroic Spirits before everyone else.

As soon as Atalanta arrived at the scene of the clash between the two Heroic Spirits she replied to Keisuke, "The hooded one is the Witch. I don't know who the other one is, but I smell the scent of snakes, blood, and the Aegean Sea coming from her. I'm sure that she's from this epoch as much as I'm." In fact, Atalanta had quite a good guess of who that Heroic Spirit could be and so she added, "If I had to hazard a guess, I would say that she's the same as the beast slain by Perseus with the help of the Gods. It's said that she was a beautiful woman before being cursed. Now I can see why. If that's the case she's a more formidable adversary than I ever thought I would have the chance of facing."

Nevertheless, before she could do something else, one of their group decided to call for their attention in the most unpredictable way possible. Even though such an event was unexpected, Atalanta used it to her advantage. The huntress reached the top of one of the many temples and palaces of Colchis and drew her bow, silently aiming at the long-haired woman's back. If Atalanta's guess was right, this shot could mean the difference between life or death of all of them.

As soon as her quarry presented any signs of lowering her guard, Atalanta would fire with the intent to either kill or incapacitate her target.

Meanwhile, the Huntress' other senses focused on finding any other eventual nearby threats. It was unlikely that this much destruction was caused by just these two, the question is who else was waiting for them?
@KoL
Syphax. You know. That other harpy.

Oh god please don't tell me Birb dropped.

Eh, sorry, doesn't ring any bells here. Someone's imaginary friend, perhaps?
I hope no one has qualms about reverse causality insanity here, because I just noticed that Atalanta arrived on the fight between Medea and Medusa before everyone else thanks to her skills (Yay for barely useful stuff making sense at least once!). Meaning that, whil she won't invalidate everyone else's actions before her, reality will be rewritten.

Food for thought, but such is Fate.
@The 42nd Gecko
I may be reading too far into this, but by this logic the harpy sex collabs mean that Syphax and Eve are immune to KoL moments as long as they're fucking.

Eve and who?
@TheWindel
Fair enough. But then again, apparently they're planning to go over 1000 characters, which I find is usually 'over-enthusiastic'.

1000 is optimistic at best when one of the collabs around is about to 11k. Collabing every now and then is good, but when overused (or done too slowly) it just kills the mood of the RP.
You really think so?
Alright, we're still chugging along on our collab. 11,000 something characters and counting.

Just try to finish it before the rest of the battle ends, right?
