Well this looks super fun. Unfortunately the last couple pages tell me that their isn't really a place that a new person could jump and have it make sense.

Oh, hi there. You are welcome.

We are almost done with the current IC event, you can join in the downtime between battles if you are interested. Don't let the size of the RP bother you, it's highly episodic, so getting in isn't hard at all.
I'll post here either today or sometime this week, to move us along for the next scene (lunch time), where interaction will likely be easier and we can introduce some plot elements.
I'm just waiting @TheWindel before replying again.

I'm saying this here to avoid "miscommunication" issue. Better safe than sorry, after all, right?
A post will be coming today, to organize the party, move us forward and introduce the new characters.

Wait for it, folks.
I guess that I'd better try to clarify Helena's powers as much as I can. After all, by now, your characters were supposed to notice the immense strangeness of Helena's (non)existence, given that she demonstrated it quite clearly before everyone's eyes.

It's no illusion, trick or spell to misdirect any of you. Unless your characters are incredibly dense, instead of the skilled generals and leaders that they claim to be, they wouldn't keep thinking that she's just smoke and mirrors.

Helena simply is a Nobody in Nowhere. I'll make that evident again in my next post. That and the fact that, just like Helena stated and demonstrated, she's playing nice with them.

The fact that you attacked the clock and dispelled the DoT effects of the arena after I asked you to not do it will have consequences in how the fight is handled, though. It was a fair warning made in advance, so I hope none of you have any qualms about suffering the consequences of ignoring it.
PS: I've edited a bit on my post since I noticed I did a slight mistake there at the end. I changed Helena's attack's description so that she didn't autohit the trees.

Just making it clear now.
@KoL
I hate asking questions.

Can BS stick a sword in Helena? She did just teleport behind him and announce her presence.

He can attack her, yes. But she didn't teleport, read the post.

Also, I'm not saying you can auto hit her, mind you.

That works. I assumed he wouldn't be able to wipe the room but figured I'd ask now instead of find out after the battle it was an option. Now what about using disruption on her? Someone with her power level probably couldn't be cut off fully from her magic, but it might reduce what she can do?

That's ok. Likely the best way to end this battle faster.
PS: I hope that you guys are aware that I'm replying to this OOC to avoid confusion and more pointless arguments. This is by no means a green light for you all to behave metagame-y and have your characters know what will happen when they interact with Helena.

Remember this.
@KoL

Alright, my turn to ask these questions. How effective will Wolf's abilities be here? Obviously he's going to try Disruption on Helena, but he may also try to dispell the room entirely to try and wipe away whatever crazy nothing magic she's got going on. Would any of these do much or does Helena fall into the category of "too power for that shit"?

Hmm, now that Helena is toning down her power to slightly above the level everyone else is, he can counter some of her moves. However, he can't dispel the arena's effect, that would make the fight pointless. But if she uses any other attacks besides that, and she'll, you can feel free to dispel them.

The DoT effect remains, anything else (except for the effect of the clock finishing its countdown) is ok to dispel. Is that alright?
