If you are still interested, you are free to do a character now since the other person vanished. But we only have spot for a Linker, if you choose to do so.
We have a spot for a Linker open at the moment. If there's anyone interested you can go straight to the OOC linked above.

"Whoa! Out of the fridge and into the frying pan!" Mavis exclaimed as the massive Invader crept up on them right as they came out of Subaru's portal. It was almost as if it had tracked them through some unknown means, but that wasn't something that mattered at the moment, not when Mila had already taken action to control the threat.

"Ok, guys, we can't fight something this big on our own, so... here's the plan. Mila, keep holding it back for as long you can while I swap the battery. And you, Subaru, get ready to beam us out of here as soon as we are done," Mavis said as she ran to the sensor, using her shield to deflect the fire from the machine gun on the enemy's back.

It would only take a moment for her to do her job, but before she could finish it, Subaru replied, "That'll not be possible. Something about this Invader is interfering with the stability of the nearby time an space continuum."

"What? Could you, huh... translate that, please?" Mavis replied as she popped out the old battery and placed the new one in place and sighed a sigh of relief. Thank God for the fact they didn't have to do any other kind of maintenance in this thing.

"No portals. You'll have to get away on foot, I suggest heading to the west and linking with the other teams," Subaru replied in a dry voice as Neptune returned the enemy's fire with a pair of concussion torpedos.

"Ok then, guys, new plan. Let's just... RUN!" Mavis said as she threw her shield towards Mila, right in time to have it deflect an energy blast from the Invader's tail cannon. The deflected shot tore apart a section of the courtyard's wall creating an impromptu gate that Mavis was all too eager to explore.

As long as Mila decided to follow them, it was only matter of time before the other teams would begin to notice both the signals of Team Arizona and the giant Invader heading towards them...

"Ugh, beginning a commotion in the middle of their own school? I didn't expect these girls to be this dumb," Aegis thought as an exasperated grimace found its way to her face. "And then, there's the issue of how to deal with this girl who just can't catch a clue. Are all humans born stupid or something like this?" she continued her introspection while unconsciously nibbling at one of her nails before sighing and deciding to follow up woth her business since she had nothing to do with these juvenile delinquents.

Once she made her mind up, Aegis took a moment to look around and be sure that no one was observing her before casually jumping over the school's wall. Going through the hoops of being inconspicous was pointless now that she had someone tailing her, furthermore, the commotion created by the other magical girls was certainly more than enough to allow Aegis to do what she wanted to.

A moment later, she reached the main school building and found her objective. There it was, a Mascot perched at the roof, looking over the school, like some kind of deformed gargoyle. Without losing a second, Aegis reached for the creature, moving so fast that it looked like she might as well have teleported to someone of lesser power.

"Alright, Teletubbie, if you don't wanna end up in a pawn shop, show me where I can find my sister. I'm sure that you and your friends must have an idea of where she's," Aegis said as she caught the cat by the tail.

Chie recoiled under the bed sheets when she felt someone barging into the nurse's office. However, when she noticed that it was none other than Kanbaru, Chie stuck her fiery redhead out of her makeshift hideout. "I was beginning to wonder when any of you guys would show up, especially you," she said, greeting her partner with a grin stamped in her face.

"Well, can you blame me? That blondie was the only one that was fun to play with among those Lightards. We might not have been friends but at least we could understand one another while trading blows. You know how that feels, right~? Also—" Chie made a pause and grabbed the bedsheet's with enough force to make her knuckles go white as she felt Touka's irritation, no doubt caused by this commotion that she could feel from as far back as here. "Also, don't you feel like you need to knock the teeth out of that shield girl's mouth everytime you see her? Hiding behind a wall and tryignt o sound cool while doing nothing? How the heck can someone be that smug? Right, right?" she added as her lips slowly twisted in a progressively more murderous grim.

God only knows what would happen if Kanbaru wasn't there, since it was beginning to get as clear as day that, while she was under control now, Chie could easily go strangle someone if she were left unchecked in this situation.

"Sure, that’s no a problem. Don’t worry," Subaru replied when Mila apologized about not being able to give her anything now, before going back to her routine.

"Hmm? Thanks," Mavis said as she accepted Mila’s treat. "As far as I’m concerned, there’s no right time for these sort of things. As long as you follow your guts, everything is bound to work out in the end," she added before popping the candy into her mouth.

Mavis took her time chewing it while feeling the breeze absentmindedly until Mila’s question shook her back to the real world. "Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention," she apologized before address the question, "Anyway, that didn’t mean anything important. I was just thinking that, perhaps, things are kinda fine the way they are right now. We — humanity, I mean — went through a lot but we are still here and... look ahead of you. The world is quite well the way it’s now. Don’t you think?"

The red headed girl got back to her feet just as she was about to finish what she was saying, "Maybe, just maybe… we should keep fighting but not because we hate the Invaders, but simply because fighting to survive is what living creatures do best?"

"I’ve finished processing the data," Subaru said just as Mavis got back to her feet. "The other groups seem to have ran into larger types of invaders, but I don’t detect anything in our final destination. Not a single single invader in the scan range," she added just before opening another portal towards their last sensor.

"We can go as soon as you two are ready. The sensor is located on the courtyard of an old Edo-style mansion. I can take you to the entrance gates, but you’ll have to make out the rest of the way like usual," Subaru said as Neptune hovered silently beside the portal, waiting for the others to go through it.

"Well then, I think it’s about time we move forward. Let’s nail this one and go back home," Mavis said as she readied herself up, waiting until Mila was prepared as well before crossing the portal.

@Skyswimsky

I think she's alright now, on my end. Just wait for @TheWindel's opinion.
Eleonor

“Hmm~ treating you like a child?” Eleonor said in a playful tone as she observed how Skuld’s attention was caught by the gift. “Oh, I see~ Because you were summoned in another era, you didn’t get updated with enough knowledge of the modern world, did you? Even a legendary mage such as yourself would have trouble keeping up with the times,” the red headed mage said as she pulled one of the books from the stack she had been reading until now and presented it to the diminutive Caster.

“As you can see, this kind of thing is all the rage between today’s lovers,” Eleonor said as she flipped through the pages of what Keisuke would probably be able to recognize as some sort of romantic light novel, until she found a page that had the illustration of a girl — not that bigger than Skuld — blushing as she stood on the receiving end of an affectionate head patting. “You can have it, if you want,” she said before turning her attention back to the more vital matters of their quest.

“Egypt, huh? I guess that I’ll have to pack some extra sunscreen, if that’s where we are going to go next,” Eleonor commented idly as she heard about their next destination.

“Well, we shall see what happens first. If I find some of them before dinner, I’ll gladly introduce myself... right?” she answered Keisuke’s question while taking the time to pet Skuld one final time before getting back up to her feet. “But, if that doesn’t happen, I’ll sure be there to make myself know during dinner. You’ve picked up quite an interesting an interesting collection just in this first outing. I’m very curious to know what they are all about.

Atlanta

“Hast thou forgotten what you did back in Scandinavia? I’m asking why thou hath that interest in me?” Atalanta asked the confused blonde Caster. She didn’t remember knowing anyone like her in life, however, there was always the possibility that this was one of the many Heroic Spirits that had an admiration for the exploits of Greek heroes. Or maybe, this Caster was just obsessed with Atalanta herself? If it was the former case, Atalanta wouldn’t mind humoring her, but the later raised all kinds of alarms bells to the feline archer.
You guys have room for one more? Seems like a fun rp

Hi. We are waiting for a couple characters to fill the empty slots we have at the moment so we can't really accept you now.

However, If their positions are still vacant by the next weekend, you are welcome to fill one of them.

In fact, the concentration of Invaders around the sensor that Yui’s Gang approached was slightly out of the ordinary. Dashing into such a mob was most likely going to spell disaster for them, if they chose to do so. That said, it seemed like the humanoid one was instructing the quadruped types.

They didn’t use any language that could be comprehensible by humans. In fact, they barely emitted any sound at all, just like in the theories that the aliens were capable of some kind of ESP based communication. Once it handed whatever instructions it giving out, the quadrupeds began to scramble, forming three groups that rushed towards different directions while leaving only the humanoid and a group of four quadruped to search the area close to the sensor for whatever is it that they were looking for.

Name: Himeko Kanzaki

Age: 16 years

Height: 160 cm

Quirk: Vertigo — Himeko can generate low-powered vibrations with a touch. These vibrations aren’t strong enough to cause any damage to structures, however, they are able to induce dizziness, nausea, and even headaches/migraines on others.

Since this quirk is based on vibrations, it requires a conductive medium. The greater the density of the medium, the greater the range of this quirk. Additionally, it loses power with distance and affects anyone touching the conductor, regardless of them being friend or foe. The only way to avoid this indiscriminate attack is by touching a target directly, this eliminates the area of effect of the quirk but makes it much more dangerous to use.
