No offense intended. But there's a sweet spot on the sliding scale of realism, and most of the interest checks I usually see skew too far to the realism end for me.

Can't describe how quickly I go from excited to sad when a mecha premise turns out to be realism wankery.

Is Ben going to respond to Sangue, or are we waiting for someone else? o3o (just curious)

I will be uploading Sangue's contribution to the contest, soon.

I'll be posting in just a few minutes. Spent most of my spare time today figuring out what the heck happened while I was MIA. XD
Well, that was a busier few days than I expected. Given how quick this place usually moves, I shouldn't have missed anyth-

How are you going to handle PvP? Because 99% of all Fate RPs die either because of PvP shenanigans or classic inactivity/lack of plot.

By crushing the competition with superior research.

Er, rather, I haven't thought up a personal strategy yet.

This is actually a good question. I've seen PvP be terribly problematic on Guild before, and I've seen it go along just fine. Obviously we all hope for the latter, but I am curious if the GMs have any thoughts on the matter.
I would appreciate it if you did. That would be fantastic, actually. I'd planned to work on it earlier this week but my first week of classes was more time consuming than I expected.
Hey, Seraphs. Did you specify a time that the contest ends today? Because I have an entry I'm working on, and I can get it done today. But if there's a specific time I might not have enough time, in which case, I just won't bother finishing it.
"Well, I think Lauren might have knocked my brain loose, so I'm kinda afraid to sleep." Ben commented, smiling to show he was (mostly) joking. He cast his eyes down and over his teammate's paper, getting a look at what she was working on. "It looked like you were having a little trouble focusing yourself. Math really puts you to sleep after a sparring, doesn't it?"

"Or it would for me. If I could sleep without getting the 'you're a team leader, Ben' lecture."
Yeah tbh my Berserker class idea was something I wrote up but never realized earlier

One of my friends bet me "ha bet you can't make Andrew Jackson as a Heroic spirit"

so I did

I saw the result. It was... Interesting.

Heyo, folks. I've been forcibly enlistedm interested in playing the Master half of Kaithas' duo.
Ben nodded at Shiro's introduction, but didn't pay much attention once the Faunus started to talk with his own teammate instead. He took a look, instead, at the textbook pages in front of him. Derivatives, mostly, by the look of it. A few limit definition of derivative problems, and then a page of functions to derive. Simple enough stuff. If he had to guess he would have said they probably covered limits the week before, so they were moving on. Fortunately, he hadn't been lying; he was familiar with the work. Skipping over the definition problems, he'd come back to them later, he started in on the derivatives.

Until noticing, a few minutes later, that Sangue seemed to be having trouble staying awake. Scooting over in his chair slightly, he lowered his voice to address her without drawing too much attention.

"Hey, Sangue. You alright?"

Lugubrious has a rule that states that no two active Player Characters should have the same semblance. We had a guy at the beginning of the new chapter rage quit when Lug pointed out that his semblance was almost identical to Blake Belladonna's and asked him to change it.

To be fair, even if there was an overlap visa vis water Semblances, being of the same type doesn't mean they're the same Semblance. Luke, Ben, and Lauren all have Semblances that enhance their bodies. They're also very different abilities. Something generic as "water manipulation" (which, as indicated, isn't an overlap here anyway) is kind of heavy handed to rule out when it's a basic powerset just because someone else has it.

That'd be like ruling out a character's weapon because it happened to be a sword, and someone else already had a sword. Versus ruling out someone having shotgun tonfa that combine into a sword because someone already has those. One's a ruling regarding an exact copy of a specific idea, and one's a ruling on duplicates of something basic.
