No offense intended. But there's a sweet spot on the sliding scale of realism, and most of the interest checks I usually see skew too far to the realism end for me.

Can't describe how quickly I go from excited to sad when a mecha premise turns out to be realism wankery.

Room 7: Rhea Psomas and Rebekah Anne Cross

Danke.
@Write and I concluded Rhea and Rebekah would be roommates. We would prefer Dorm 7, @lovely complex.

EDIT: That is the wrong @. I need coffee. Editing in mentions doesn't work, but nevertheless, @MissCapnCrunch

Cyare Staunton

@Plank Sinatra @Onarax @Caasicam @Silvan Haven [@Here Comes The Snow]

After finally gathering the remainder of the group, a feat not aided by how difficult locating Rei had been, thew newly created adventuring party discussed what remained to be done over breakfast. The common consensus was that a little more time was necessary in town to prepare, so several strained coin purses coughed up the money for a longer stay in the inn while these preparations went on. A time later, the crew departed early(ish) in the morning to start towards their destination.

Cyare Staunton had most of her possessions in a small bag on her shoulder, while the remainder were physically affixed to her person. Such light armor was quite easy to walk in, nor did the sword on her hip impede movement, but she did get… Bored. The walk was not exactly brief, so she had time to kill.

Mental exercises successfully kept her busy for a time, but those eventually ran dry. She had little to suggest in the way of conversation, nor did she particularly feel like engaging in a long, drawn out talk with her compatriots. Truly, this was a predicament.

So she settled for an inaudible sigh, and a query.

“How long until our destination?”
Yosumine Kazu

"Haven't seen her." Kazu answered, taking a brief glance around the classroom just to make sure she wasn't there. No sign of her, so Kazu returned to her breakfast. She gave a faint grin at the teacher's remarks, reaffirming the wisdom in buying a full container of coffee. Even if she wasn't able to drink it all, someone else would happily 'take one for the team' and take a cup. Often the teacher. "Running late, maybe?"

The query was accompanied with a noncommittal shrug, while the speedster busied herself with another donut. Not really her issue.

Most of the time, Ben would claim he was the levelheaded member of the team. He had to be. He was the Captain. Lauren, Amy, Sangue they could all be as hotheaded as they wanted. Amy was proving that pretty handily right now. But Ben needed to be the one ready to rein them back in. But being a Huntsman wasn't all about being calm, collected, and clever. If it was then any General worth their salt could do Ben's job, and probably do it better. No. Part of being a good Huntsman was knowing when the rules of play went out the fucking window, and knowing how to fight like a goddamn maniac to compensate.

And fighting a Manticore on foot with shotguns and blades fit the bill.

We better get some serious fucking brownie points for this.

"Hey, bitch!" Bastille's, at this point potentially certifiable, team leader called out, throwing a rather obscene gesture the Manticore's way while he swaggered up towards the edge of the roof. "This your idea of fun? Did the other Grimm call you names, so you're gonna pick on the puny humans?"

Grimm, generally, were much too stupid to grasp the meaning of words.

But this one would have to be clinically braindead to miss Ben's tone. Did he think he was going to badger the Grimm to death? Absolutely not, but he could piss it off. And if he was pissing it off, it'd be paying less attention to Amy. And hey, if his tone didn't do the trick, the Fire Dust rounds rocketing at its eyes would do the trick. As would the Lightning ones he casually swapped into Artorius' chamber and sent after their more fiery brethren.

He eyed the Manticore's movements, waiting for the preparatory bunch of muscles. Either he got its attention and it went after him, in which case Deinamig was on standby to get him out of the way in time, or it stayed focused on Amy. In that case he had an opening. Win win.

Didn't make the plan any less insane.

"Give it a shot! See what happens, you ugly bastard."
Nothing I can do, @Onarax.

This is still a work in progress, but saving it here so there is no chance of it being lost. If someone has an objection or input they would like to offer, my inbox is always open. Otherwise I'll just keep working.

EDIT: Aaaaaaand done.
Hera's son is already filled.
My guess would be a typo. Given that it was "third" immediately after "fourth", my guess is that @Write adjusted the number of days and forgot to replace "third" with "first".

I can't speak for him, of course, but that would be my guess.
@Rune_AlchemistSo who decided the time skip? One person? Because that doesn't really do anything for the RP. I wouldn't go ahead and judge an entire class of seniors on one person's silly decision that really makes no sense. Like a new day would change the flow and speed of the game. You guys should have just waited for the GM to do his job.

Because as far as I am concerned, my character is where I left him in that classroom. I have not moved onto the next day because the day the GM set for us hasn't even been used yet. I'm sorry, but that's just stupid.

If the senior class isn't going to have any GM action in it, then it shouldn't exist. I didn't join this game for the High School Soap Operas. I joined it because it's supposed to be a My Hero Academia spin-off.

I keep looking over the IC and there is nothing that says the seniors have moved to the next day as far as I can tell. So unless it was mentioned "OOC," it hasn't happened. I see a bunch of seniors waiting for their home room teacher to show up and trying to have small chat to pass the time.

You seriously need to chill out.

No one in the senior class that has posted, which I can safely say because I'm there and interacting with another half that number, has actually triggered a timeskip. I don't know where this misunderstanding, but it's just that; a misunderstanding.

Which could be cleared up easily if you didn't flip your fucking lid first chance you get.

Unless there's someone I missed, @Write, @Plank Sinatra, and myself are still posting as though it is the first day of school.
