No offense intended. But there's a sweet spot on the sliding scale of realism, and most of the interest checks I usually see skew too far to the realism end for me.

Can't describe how quickly I go from excited to sad when a mecha premise turns out to be realism wankery.
I am not entirely aware of how much time has passed, this was merely the easiest way I saw to get our little crew up and running again. If for some reason this does not work, please feel free to PM me.
After finally gathering the remainder of the group, a feat not aided by how difficult locating Rei had been, thew newly created adventuring party discussed what remained to be done over breakfast. The common consensus was that a little more time was necessary in town to prepare, so several strained coin purses coughed up the money for a longer stay in the inn while these preparations went on. A time later, the crew departed early(ish) in the morning to start towards their destination.
Cyare Staunton had most of her possessions in a small bag on her shoulder, while the remainder were physically affixed to her person. Such light armor was quite easy to walk in, nor did the sword on her hip impede movement, but she did get… Bored. The walk was not exactly brief, so she had time to kill.
Mental exercises successfully kept her busy for a time, but those eventually ran dry. She had little to suggest in the way of conversation, nor did she particularly feel like engaging in a long, drawn out talk with her compatriots. Truly, this was a predicament.
So she settled for an inaudible sigh, and a query.
"Haven't seen her." Kazu answered, taking a brief glance around the classroom just to make sure she wasn't there. No sign of her, so Kazu returned to her breakfast. She gave a faint grin at the teacher's remarks, reaffirming the wisdom in buying a full container of coffee. Even if she wasn't able to drink it all, someone else would happily 'take one for the team' and take a cup. Often the teacher. "Running late, maybe?"
The query was accompanied with a noncommittal shrug, while the speedster busied herself with another donut. Not really her issue.
Most of the time, Ben would claim he was the levelheaded member of the team. He had to be. He was the Captain. Lauren, Amy, Sangue they could all be as hotheaded as they wanted. Amy was proving that pretty handily right now. But Ben needed to be the one ready to rein them back in. But being a Huntsman wasn't all about being calm, collected, and clever. If it was then any General worth their salt could do Ben's job, and probably do it better. No. Part of being a good Huntsman was knowing when the rules of play went out the fucking window, and knowing how to fight like a goddamn maniac to compensate.
And fighting a Manticore on foot with shotguns and blades fit the bill.
We better get some serious fucking brownie points for this.
"Hey, bitch!" Bastille's, at this point potentially certifiable, team leader called out, throwing a rather obscene gesture the Manticore's way while he swaggered up towards the edge of the roof. "This your idea of fun? Did the other Grimm call you names, so you're gonna pick on the puny humans?"
Grimm, generally, were much too stupid to grasp the meaning of words.
But this one would have to be clinically braindead to miss Ben's tone. Did he think he was going to badger the Grimm to death? Absolutely not, but he could piss it off. And if he was pissing it off, it'd be paying less attention to Amy. And hey, if his tone didn't do the trick, the Fire Dust rounds rocketing at its eyes would do the trick. As would the Lightning ones he casually swapped into Artorius' chamber and sent after their more fiery brethren.
He eyed the Manticore's movements, waiting for the preparatory bunch of muscles. Either he got its attention and it went after him, in which case Deinamig was on standby to get him out of the way in time, or it stayed focused on Amy. In that case he had an opening. Win win.
Didn't make the plan any less insane.
"Give it a shot! See what happens, you ugly bastard."
This is still a work in progress, but saving it here so there is no chance of it being lost. If someone has an objection or input they would like to offer, my inbox is always open. Otherwise I'll just keep working.
EDIT: Aaaaaaand done.

{"Silence is golden."} | ☠ Archnemesis || ☯ An Acceptable Use of the Planet’s Space || ★ Permitted Within Meter Radius || ♫ A Welcome Presence || ♥ Preposterous || ⚤ Inconceivable || ⚜ They Exist |[ hr]
| Cecily . Merrick {☯} | "Paternal issues. These seem to crop up frequently amongst the children of Olympians, but even more so among the children of Zeus. Friendly. Very friendly. Much too energetic. Well-meaning, but little grasp of boundaries. Preferably keep at arm’s length." Observed only from a distance. Cecily is much too extroverted for Rebekah to have much of any desire to become very acquainted with her. Not out of any particular animosity; Rebekah just finds such people exhausting.
| Zachariah . Rothschild {☯} | "The son of Zeus, with evident paternal issues. Nevertheless very much the archetypical son of an “alpha male” God, as much as I find the term disdainful. Cocky. Aggressive. A learned need to be the Good Samaritan, if I had to guess, in order to spite his father. Desiring to be different from Zeus is a noble goal, given his… reputation, but he requires self-awareness of their similarities if he wants to highlight their differences.
I avoid him. If he gets competitive with me, he will learn basic physics; lightning strikes once, then it is grounded. " Arm’s length at best. Rebekah has rarely interacted with him personally, but finds Zeus (and the majority of his children) distasteful.
| Marcella . Bonaparte {Symbol} | "Unabashed. Children of Hades seem predisposed to complexes regarding their godly domain, but Ms. Bonaparte does not share this predisposition. If anything, she revels in it. Whether she is to be trusted or not has yet to be certain. While not actively malicious, some doubts remain as to her goals and morality. Particularly regarding the use of the van in my possession. Once answered the door wrapped in a welcome mat.
This event is mutually not discussed. Willing to assist with the procurement of raw materials for projects, making her more of an asset than a detriment so long as her trustworthiness remains intact." A relatively recent acquaintance, but one Rebekah has gotten along with rather well.
| F I R S T N A M E . L A S T N A M E {Symbol} | "Character thoughts on relations." In depth description of relation here. At least three sentences.
| Rhea . Psomas {Symbol} | "An oddity. A child of Poseidon, the Earthshaker, with few (if any) observed abilities. Children of Zeus and Poseidon traditionally have very evident inherited gifts, but Ms. Psomas demonstrates none thus far. Rather shy, as well. Not antisocial, as she seems to have a preference for the company of others, but seems uncomfortable with any real familiarity. Does not dissuade her from working earnestly at making friends.
Few words exchanged, but seems well-meaning enough. Have been doing a degree of background checking. Name seems familiar, and circumstances regarding time before Olympus Academy seem suspect.
No link to the Rhea of mythology. Thus far." A very new acquaintance. Rebekah has only spoken with her on a handful of occasions, but has observed with a fair degree of curiosity.
| F I R S T N A M E . L A S T N A M E {Symbol} | "Character thoughts on relations." In depth description of relation here. At least three sentences.
| Avery . Stratton {☯} | "Considering such people enemies is a waste of effort. Do not, however, get me started on my opinion of this woman." In many ways, Rebekah’s opposite. Oil and water. We all know the science.

| Danaye . Harada {♫l} | "Not the archetypical descendant of Ares (or Mars, the identity the God himself purportedly feels nostalgic for), in may ways the equal and opposite force. Excellent companionship for most occasions. Good taste in food, amicable silence, and willing to provide opinions on an honest, realistic level. Easily persuaded by milkshakes. Avoid “The Grudge” at all costs.
Excellent markswoman; modified M1911 stored in spare DDR pad. DDR pad is to be stored in spare room if watching a horror film. Zaheen’s aid was required to fix it after the last time, and the bullet is still in the wall behind the TV stand. Japanese is her first language. Slowly learning by observation. Ares children seem to have fondness for learning the language. Investigate further?"
Rebekah’s closest friend, quite easily. Though this can be odd to observe. Mostly due to their respective silent natures.
| Jonas . Highwind {★} | “Also not the archetypical descendant of Ares (though Highwind seems to indicate preference for his Mars identity), but this is more concealed. Avid weightlifter. His fitness regimen is well structured and followed thoroughly, leading to an excellent state of physical fitness. Not that it is inherently required. His Godly gifts permit an inhuman level of physical capability already. His ability to summon from his Father’s armory is reminiscent, in a roundabout fashion, of Promachos.
Excellent physical combatant. Regular sparring bouts occur. Each one, win or lose, is information to be used for the formulation of strategy later.
A closet “weeb”, as Relo insists. Ms. Dana seems to agree albeit not in the same terms. Once made a reference to “my smile protecting itself”. I do not understand the remark." A friend. Highwind has been a consistent ally, if not as close as Rebekah allows most to get, for the duration of her time at OA. Frequent sparring sessions have accelerated her capabilities.
| Webster . O’Connor {☯} | "Technically my half-brother. Mother introduced us upon his arrival at OA, but little contact has been maintained. Intelligent individual, as befitting one of our lineage, but a little arrogant. As his studies are the previous year to mine, we have few projects in common. No ill will is present, on my end, but there is no closeness.
I do not invite him to coffee with Mother. That is ours." Though technically familial, Rebekah does not look on their relationship as such. Family is not defined by one’s blood, but by one’s relationships. As Rebekah has no real relationship with Webster O’Connor, nor any real inclination to forge one, he remains an acquaintance.
| Rebekah. Cross {Symbol} | "I am what I am." Her relationship with herself is positive.
| Skye . Woodsen {☠} | "No." See entry; Avery Stratton. To a much greater degree.
| F I R S T N A M E . L A S T N A M E {Symbol} | "Character thoughts on relations." In depth description of relation here. At least three sentences.
| Dallas . Relo {★ } | "Hypersexual. Closeted weeb. ‘Tsundere’, as Ms. Dana would say. An hour is set aside before every major deadline for the inevitable IM or knock upon my door requesting aid with a project that has yet to be started. Note to self, consider merely doing two projects from the start. More time efficient.
Nevertheless, proven to be a reliable ally." An oddly symbiotic relationship. Dallas Relo is a friend, at first, by association; as Highwind’s best friend, it was impossible for her not to cultivate an at least civil relationship with the son of Apollo. Over time that relationship has become friendlier.
| Mariana . Dixon {⚜} | "Relo’s sister. Pleasant enough. Truthfully, I have had little to do with her. Ambivalence." Not someone Rebekah has had much to do with. Though they are the same age, Rebekah is a grade ahead; their paths do not cross often as a result. She is more familiar with Mariana’s brother.
| Tessa . Galloway {⚜} | "Decent enough individual. I still have yet to determine how the virgin Goddesses maintain their title and have children. It makes no sense." Another individual Rebekah has had little contact with, though none of it negative.
| F I R S T N A M E . L A S T N A M E {Symbol} | "Character thoughts on relations." In depth description of relation here. At least three sentences.
| Delilah . Wells {☯} | "I have nothing negative to say. She seems very well-adjusted, especially when compared to the majority of the population." Not someone Rebekah is very well acquainted with, but not someone she would dislike having to spend time with.
| F I R S T N A M E . L A S T N A M E {Symbol} | "Character thoughts on relations." In depth description of relation here. At least three sentences.
| Kazuma . Adachihara {☯ } | "Loud. Passionate. Not fluent in English. Ms. Dana has been assisting me in my learning of Japanese, both to converse with her but also to be able to converse with Mr. Adachihara in a tongue with which he is fluent. Not at all standard for a child of Dionysus. More suited in temperament to the archetypical child of Ares.
Arrived this year. Opinions will be updated to reflect changes." Though only a recent arrival, Adachihara Kazuma has proven a surprisingly beneficial acquaintance. His grasp of combat makes him a welcome change in sparring partner, while his demeanor is useful in frightening off weaker-willed students.
| Dustyn . Flint {☯} | "One who parties. Avoid if possible.." Different worlds. In Rebekah’s opinion, it would be for the best if they did not mix.
| Felicity . Underwood { ☯} | "Felicity seems… Troubled. Not someone I have met to any real personal degree, I would not know how to approach nor do I think my presence would be welcome, but her inner strife is visible even at a distance. If you know how to look. No one speaks so little and smiles so constantly, not unless something is wrong." Felicity, like Rhea, is a puzzle that Rebekah has not solved.
| Alexander . Reisender {☯} | "I have few opinions. Our paths do not cross, and as a result, I have nothing to say. Positive or negative." Virtually nonexistent.
| Zaheen . Ibrahim {★ l} | "An able collaborator in many projects. Ability to understand mechanical objects equals my own, and his ability to infer the path towards a completed product exceeds my own. My fellow advanced student, Zaheena and I have collaborated on projects both curricular and extracurricular in the past. I suspect it is an unspoken rule amongst the teaching staff that we are not to be paired for group projects.
This is unfortunate. The Cross/Ibrahim hybrid engine was a promising prospect." In depth description of relation here. At least three sentences.

My guess would be a typo. Given that it was "third" immediately after "fourth", my guess is that @Write adjusted the number of days and forgot to replace "third" with "first".
I can't speak for him, of course, but that would be my guess.
@Rune_AlchemistSo who decided the time skip? One person? Because that doesn't really do anything for the RP. I wouldn't go ahead and judge an entire class of seniors on one person's silly decision that really makes no sense. Like a new day would change the flow and speed of the game. You guys should have just waited for the GM to do his job.
Because as far as I am concerned, my character is where I left him in that classroom. I have not moved onto the next day because the day the GM set for us hasn't even been used yet. I'm sorry, but that's just stupid.
If the senior class isn't going to have any GM action in it, then it shouldn't exist. I didn't join this game for the High School Soap Operas. I joined it because it's supposed to be a My Hero Academia spin-off.
I keep looking over the IC and there is nothing that says the seniors have moved to the next day as far as I can tell. So unless it was mentioned "OOC," it hasn't happened. I see a bunch of seniors waiting for their home room teacher to show up and trying to have small chat to pass the time.
You seriously need to chill out.
No one in the senior class that has posted, which I can safely say because I'm there and interacting with another half that number, has actually triggered a timeskip. I don't know where this misunderstanding, but it's just that; a misunderstanding.
Which could be cleared up easily if you didn't flip your fucking lid first chance you get.
Unless there's someone I missed, @Write, @Plank Sinatra, and myself are still posting as though it is the first day of school.
