Eleanor struggled to understand why they were stopping. By God, people were eating each other not far from where they stood! Couldn't the man–Charles, as he introduced himself–at least wait to catch his breath until they were safe in the confines of her rust bucket of a car, away from the cannibal freaks?

Nonetheless, Eleanor felt she owed Charles a few seconds to catch his breath. Had Charles not been there moments ago, Eleanor came to realize that she would've likely had her face or some other body part chewed off. And so, the Chinese-American stayed put, waiting for him to catch his breath even if she was already rearing to go. Not to add that Eleanor wasn't about to abandon another human being to be devoured by the walking dead. Perhaps it was smarter to leave Charles behind, but her humanity stood foremost–he was alive and breathing, just as much as she was.

"E-Eleanor. But since we're, you know, in a hurry, Elli is fine." She stuttered; her reply as rapid as her movements looking to identify any possible threat among the horrors that might endanger either of them.

"Now, I don't mean to rush you, but could we get going? Please?" Eleanor asked, watching the shambling bloodsoaked individuals slowly growing in number as they chased after the horde of fleeing festival goers out of the park and made a gruesome buffet of anyone unfortunate enough to trip and fall. "Because, uhm. They're coming our way. Like right now."

Haven't fallen out a tree yet but I did yeet myself down Superman Hill (local name for a steep ass hill) on accident once when I was going on a trail hike years ago. Tried to be careful, foot slipped, went tumbling. Almost took a creek bed full of rocks to the face, but somehow I managed to stop in time. One of my shoes and my glasses went flying on the way down, too.

Once upon a time (yesterday) I glanced at the recent visitors section of my profile, and my eye was caught by a certain profile picture. A certain princess from a certain game. Out of curiosity I looked at that person's posts in the hopes of finding an rp inspired by said certain game, and while I didn't find anything of the sort I did spot something else interesting...

So uh... To cut a long story short, this rp has tempted me. Would you still happen to be accepting new characters?

"Should likes/dislikes, hobbies, fears, etc. be included/required in a character sheet? What are some of the things that are absolutely mandatory for a character sheet? What are some things that we're better off leaving out?"

Things like likes and dislikes should always be left out in anything not SoL. The majority of the time they won't have any effect on the story and are in turn redudant. Yeah, your character hates bananas, but who's going to go out of their way to write that when the RP is about aliens invading or some shit like that? It becomes more of a "tell, don't show" sort of thing, and sometimes this happens in SoL too--people will write that their character likes or dislikes something yet never bring it up in a RP.

As for mandatory things, the basics should obviously be included. Name, age, appearance, background, etc. If it isn't part of the basics, then it probably shouldn't be included unless it is absolutely RP and/or genre-specific, such as what I mentioned with likes and dislikes.
