Current I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

Hi. If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am.

You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime.

I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you believe that you have an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Sometimes I forget to check my messages, so don't feel bad about pestering me again if I missed it.

I also have a discord server laying around. If we're cool, then I might be willing to a toss an invite your way.

Feel free to ask for help, if you need it -- and remember that you don't necessarily *have* to play canon characters. Organizations are fine, too; i.e. the Scarlet Crusade.

Yeah, I'm aware. But it just seems that this roleplay is more geared towards such things.

Current ideas I have rolling around in my head:
-- Gilneas power struggle (post-northgate sympathies? worgen shenanigans? escaping the greymane wall? pyrewood/ambermill stuff? idk yet)
-- Finnall Goldensword (only canon in the RPG, need to alter her background to fit slightly more into this setting since Dalaran still exists)
-- League of Arathor (doesn't exist at this point to my knowledge, only came into play around vanilla WoW? maybe can be changed for the RP?)
-- Grand Admiral Jes-Tereth (Probably not a grand admiral as of this moment timewise + Daelin isn't dead yet, doesn't have much lore though)
-- Morgan's Vigil (reclaiming land from the dark irons, old horde, etc. to rebuild a settlement type stuff)

Most of the things I think of are kind of almost to present vanilla WoW type stuff, but they're like borderline WC3 anyway so they might kinda fit in with this setting.
Maybe? IDK. I don't really RP nation-style roleplays at all, and I've always been iffy on RPing canon characters because sometimes I feel I won't be able to properly portray the character(s) correctly. But I'm closing in on around a decade and a half-ish of playing WoW + some of the RTS so I might be able to work out something readable and not downright stupid.

Funnily enough, on the topic of WoW I was actually playing it the other day on a server a few friends and I have played sometimes (fuck the night elf barrow quest, I forgot how much I hated it) and this happens to drop today.

Germany, more specifically my late grandfather's hometown of Regensburg. It's a place down in Bavaria. I'll probably never have the time to go myself, but it'd be cool to see all the historic buildings (much of the city's historical buildings escaped destruction from modernization and the allied bombing campaign in WW2) but also just to see the place in general where my grandfather first grew up before going back to the US with the rest of his family. Apparently nuns used to slap him for writing left-handed in Regensburg, which is funny to me since a bunch of us ended up being left handed later on. My mom, sister, me, etc.

How do you like your coffee, if you drink it at all?
I went fishing in Maine this summer. Haven't done that in years. I do not live on waterfront property.

I've grown up around a river, lakes and other waterways and still am in the area so I've gone fishing quite a bit. Usually it isn't nothing special, just things like catfish, bluegill, etc. that are pretty common throughout the Mississippi river basin/the Midwest. But as someone who tends to leans towards a pollo pescetarian diet (not exactly, but in a general sense whenever I choose/look for a meat protein) + just likes seafood in general, it's all good in the end.

Also for anyone who is interested in trying to help out: choosecopi.com

You might be able to find a distributor or a place serving Copi nearby, most places are located near Illinois since the effort is primarily spearheaded by the state. But there are some oddballs out there and stuff that might be in range of y'all.
I need to reorganize my fishing gear some time. I've got so much junk lying around here and extra poles + more at my grandparents on top of what I already have. It doesn't sit unused of course since I live on essentially waterfront property, and I do have the space for it. But I don't think I've ever stepped back until just recently and wonder why I have so many tackleboxes filled to the brim and other such fishing hardware lol
