I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am. You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime. I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. I like collecting notebooks that I never use
I feel ya. Call me a hoarder if you want, but I'm notorious for keeping my old school resources. While I pitched all my old assignments every year, I never could pitch my notebooks, pencils, etc. It just felt wasteful to throw them away when they still had life in them when I could reuse it and save some money later on unless I absolutely needed a fresh, brand new item.
I've been out of school for a few years so I could easily pitch them now, but even then it still feels wasteful to me. Like, since we're talking about notebooks, some of these still have half or more of their pages that I could always use for scratch paper or drafting. Why pitch them, y'know?

Forum: Off-Topic Discussion
Started playing Wolfenstein: ET again, haven't really played it since I was a kid. Still enjoyable as long as you're not being insta-gibbed by enemy grenades, mortars or artillery. That and I also don't really remember too many of the custom fan-made maps so I've been trying to stick to the ones that were released with the game.
