Kali nodded at Isaac. They needed to get out of town as soon as possible. The streets were bound to fill with traffic from evacuees, and who knew what dangers awaited them out there. However, when Gladys decided she'd rather stay, Kali felt conflicted. Their apartments may be safe for now, but ignoring the evacuation order, Kali believed, was unwise. What if another one of those crazies, like the kid from before, showed up at her doorstep? There wouldn't be anyone able to help her, and the thought of it churned Kali's stomach. Staying together as a group had to be the smarter play. After all, safety in numbers, right?

And yet, Kali felt she couldn't force the issue. Gladys didn't want to leave her husband behind. It wasn't Kali's place to decide what was right for her neighbor, and she had to accept Gladys' decision even if she disagreed with it.

"I'll leave the key for you when we leave." Kali told Gladys, as she handed Isaac her husband's old rifle. The weapon was daunting, especially for someone who had never fired a firearm before, and Kali could only hope they would have no need for it. "Take whatever you need, alright? It's the least Liana and I can do for you."

Well, it's a casual RP. The posts are going to have some meat to them.

Character sheets are to be submitted in the OOC. Anything submitted in the CS tab will be considered null and void.

The elements are anything to do with nature, more or less. We've got people from lightning and fire all the way to fungi and salt.

I have a couple questions. First off, what time of year is it? Secondly, does the school require uniforms? @Carlyle

Fall, probably around august and september where most American schools start.

And yes, they have uniforms. It consists of a white/cream blazer with gray undertones, red tie, black sweater vest with white edging, a plain white dress shirt (to go under the vest), dress shoes (black or brown). They have a choice of either skirts or dress pants (which match the sweater vest in color) no matter what gender. Skirts come with black stockings because New York is cold AF at times.

For new players, depending on how many applications I get in the next few days will decide whether or not this will be first come, first serve or deadline-based. There was an unexpected amount of applications when the RP first started, so I'm going to leave it on the table in regards to potential interest.

Ever since her primalist awakening, Sarah has undergone drastic changes to her appearance.

The blonde, blue-eyed girl has thrown away any idealization her parents had forced upon her. She has taken a pair of scissors to the hair her parents forced her to grow out, and has left a messy, boyish mop on top of her head. Her wardrobe has also gained personal freedom, and no longer consists of the opinions of rich, uptight fashionistas, instead opting for more casual, everyman wear. Sarah is done with people telling her how she should look; even if it means showcasing the now-permanent Lichtenberg figure that runs down most of her body to the world.

@Ti Sorry to see you go. Just so you're aware, I'll have John become a NPC since he's already established in the RP.

@Scribe of Thoth@sovlereign@Aeolian@AWildSquirtle are all the remaining people I'm waiting on. That being said, for Reign and Squirtle, I'm going to presume they're no longer interested since they haven't logged in for weeks + left/are not in the Discord.

The roleplay is still active and alive, of course. But we've had some clear drops/ghosts and some people whose status is ambiguous in regards to this roleplay. So, if you're still here, please reply to this message below. I want to see if I need/want to bring more people into the fold to make up the numbers since I'll be working the inactives into NPCs if they don't show up and I don't want the roleplay to stall for posts if a chunk of the cast becomes NPCs.
