@Crimson Raveni want a new page.

And now knowing my luck, this will be on the new page XD

Another two posts before a new page after this.
Hey @t2wave since Dawn's in a serious amount of danger Elizabeth would likely be able to sense it through their link and try to go to his aid. If she tried to drag Ariel along would she go with it?
@Caits The only thing you actually said was that the move was too OP for a new character. You didn't elaborate at all past that. Since I was set on Dawn using magic in distress (which is natural for his character) edits had to be made to the magic I used but you wouldn't tell me what edits. Over and over you just kept saying it was OP. Since he was using fire magic and you kept saying the entire thing was OP it seemed what you wanted me to do was not use magic period. If I'm going to make edits on a post of mine that has caused problems I need to understand what the problems are. It's not that you are unreasonable Caits you were just agonizingly vague with the specifics of the edits I needed to make.

EDIT: You're right, this conversation is doing no one any good after the fact. We should put it to bed and move forward with the RP.
@Prince of Seraphs

Let me have a little heart to heart here, because I have an inkling of what you are like. On top of that, I'm going to be blunt. So, rage at me afterward. Stop being so difficult. I know that you like your characters complex in magic and personality, and thats okay. My character is very similar, so I sympathize. But conform. I see that you did so with Dawn, and I applaud that, but it took nearly an entire OOC page to do so. I am asking you to relax, keep your ideas fluid and be prepared to change.

I know I'm both abrasive and tactless. I try to post as best and as fairly as I can and when I do something that doesn't fit properly I am sorry and I'll do my best to fix whatever's wrong. But in order for that to happen someone has to actually tell me what is wrong. Caits ruled that what I did was OP. Okay fine I'll make the edits that need to be made. But no one told me the edits that had to be made. I wasn't at all clear if it was that particular spell that was the problem, Dawn using magic period since he's a new character, how it would effect the other RPers. It wasn't until Zarkun got involved that someone actually made it clear that the mobility and potentially destructive capability of the spell was what was causing the problems. I'm not trying to be selfish, this is supposed to be fun for everyone but I can't change anything if all I'm given by the GM is "No don't do that" when I'm doing three things then a refusal to tell me what it is I'm not supposed to be doing.

Caits I'm not interested in getting into an argument again. I know you have a life and other commitments which trump an internet RP but please try to be clear, listen the everyone and work with people or leave the rulings up the Co-GMs, at this point I don't really care.
He's saying that it was basically an autohit by @Raijinslayer, to which I would agree. @Prince of Seraphs has no recourse but to comply with the post or contradict the described scene.

Well Raijinslayer used a weird tense in his post that while disconcerting to read gave the impression that the events had yet to happen which means I could have avoided them had I wanted to. Natsume Honnaji saying that the bone hand got me was definite and irreversible. In any case I'm in PM with Raijinslayer about it just don't close off my options before I have a chance to do anything.
Following that a large bone hand came from beneath the boy and pulled him under quickly while the dark mage used the commotion to make good hid escape.

And if I pulled a trick out of my hat to have Dawn avoid the bone hand what are we going to do about this here? This basically forces me to let my character get hit cause if I don't our posts contradict each other.

The flames are too thick for you to see anything more than indefinite shadows inside and even if that wasn't the case I haven't given in to letting the bone hand take Dawn. You'll notice that Raijinslayer wrote it as a hypothetical of what would happen if Dawn was pulled under since I could still pull something out to avoid it. That's basically autohitting.

Robin took a quick look around to see how many other mages there were and if any were injured. He spotted the boy who handed over the grimmoire and walked to him leaving another sweet roll in his hand before turning away and beginning to walk off. "Quite the odd series of events..maybe I should be just stayed in bed today."

Just because Robin wasn't standing in it doesn't mean he wouldn't have felt some effect from it. And for the record the pillar hasn't died down. Not yet at least and Cody was basically right next to it. You essentially just said Robin walked into an inferno of flames.
As twins Dawn and Elizabeth share a special kind of magic. Though separate people their souls are joined at a mystical level. In times of great need each is capable of drawing on the other's magical reserves for energy. Once developed to a greater extent this will allow them the ability to feel pain and strong emotions from the other. Depending on severity and need this could also result in transferring of injuries from one to the other. In times of great stress one of the twins would be able to use the other as a magical conduit to allow them to cast there own magic from the location of their twin. Because of the unpredictable nature of Sol and Luna interacting on such a level this is a very dangerous feet to attempt accomplishing. At its highest level they may even be able to communicate telepathically over great distances. At present they are only able to sense the discomfort of the other subconsciously.
Twin Magic

I wonder if I should make use of this or just trust that @Raijinslayer's not going to kill Dawn.
@Natsume HonnajiThere's going to be a hole, so that's an out, but just to let you know, I doubt that Robin could've dug through 5 feet of a meterail that is currently stronger than steel while that huge fire thing is going before he succumbed to the intense heat. Without Ferrin's assistance, you'd basically be cooking in an oven right now.

I feel proud, I'm roasting people alive.
@Prince of Seraphs

Fusion is fusion, unless you want everybody nearby to spontaneously combust or die of radiation poisoning I suggest you go for something simpler.

I personally suggest something like a gollem spell. A magical construct with enough intelligence for a basic task and an internal battery style power source.

Still working out the details.
