I can play both genders easily, even though lately I've been playing mostly Female characters. Artificial Intelligence Characters are something of a odd quirk I like doing only because I have like a few characters that are basically massive AI Controlled Starships. Additionally, you can contact me via Discord using Holy R. Enigma#6381 for anything really. My birthdate is June 26, 1987, going to be soon 33 years old. Might as well add that these are the only two things I am going to put on here. Out of everything, I am really enjoying my time on roleplaying guild, just need to start working on the massive revamp of the Jaina'Res Mulitverse/Main Realm and the Fantasy RP I have been starting to work on. It's still in the Development stages in terms of the Fantasy RP I am going to GM.
Hopefully everyone has a good 2020 and beyond, gl and hf. As well, I'm highly interested in Strategy Games, Grand Strategy and MMORPGs aka play FFXIV.
The Roleplays I am apart of: The RP's Creator - Roleplays listed second. Letter Bee: Iliad City: A Magical RP in an original world resuming & Academy of Noble Arms - The Golden Generation LetMeDoStuff: Persona the Beholder The Jest: Lost Innocence RP Reset - This roleplay went through a complete reset. The Pages are children whom gained magical powers from being infused by dust of a crystalline race. Need to still finish the required profiles I've been working on mostly been sidetracked a little. However, Sidetracking is always a pain in the ass. Additionally, The Jest is still working on all details of said roleplay before he launches it.
Roleplays that have an OOC and were rebooted once before:
N/A
Interest Checks that Caught my Interest: N/A
Creation of Something New: Getting back into the swing of things... The Venerdale Legends RP: Retinue of the Ariel Guardians - The Name has finally been chosen, which is the Fantasy RP that is still in development. Got many things to work on, at least its finally named. (Like the Magic System and others)
I am the creator of the Jaina'Res Multiverse, but I have officially decided to recreate it since it was a bit clusterfuckery. The entire rework of every single being, within this multiverse will be a cluster since yeah. I've been always thinking I should recreate everything but after so long of debating myself and thinking onto the future of my multiverse. Its finally time to rework that what was always been bothering me the lengthy annoyance that was working on 20+ profiles only. Going to do what I am doing with the Fantasy Roleplay, I welcome this change with open arms. As well, I should thank Nyxira & everyone within LetMeDoStuff's Discord to getting me over this massive hurdle.
First things first, I am going to detail how I am going to rework the Jaina'Res Multiverse. I'm going to work on specifically three aspects I failed to grasp the first time around, worldbuilding, the building of the races, and everything that comes from lorebuilding what everything does. Instead of focusing on the one thing I heavily enjoy 110%, Profile Making. The Profiles will be worked on only as a last resort when I have officially at least have a concrete foundation of how everything in the Jaina'Res Multiverse works. However, the Main Realm will be taking a back seat slightly, which means all the things in question within the first iteration of the original hider here to be determined to change.
If I ever want to feel like I have accomplished something in my life I have to start doing it since I am going to be getting a year older soon, June 26, 1987 was when I was born. I feel like I been wasting my life basically in neutral its time to finally get out of neutral and do something for once. In terms, all the character profiles I have created over the years will be getting revamped massively and might be using a different template from the one I created from my own ego. Every single thing about what I am doing now is working towards something that feels complete rather than a clusterfuck that is completely unfinished and basically keeping me probably in the worst writer's block situation ever. I do hope you all enjoy the reworked Jaina'Res Multiverse. Its second on my list after the Fantasy RP is more developed, must keep track of one thing at a time. Even though I could probably multitask somewhat...
The 405 Characters is still an list I have, which the most improvement I am going to do is with the AI Controlled Starships, the Ancient One, The Messiah & finally the Grand Destroyer. Basically going to alter their template I created for them too. Might as bloody well, See you on the Battlefield Commander! PEACE THROUGH POWER.
”My family’s Traditions are too ridged and blatantly negative towards my growth as a mage.”
Name: Louise Ester von Hammerwhirl
Nickname:
The Firebringer – Louise was given this nickname as soon as her family disowned her and branded her with a specific tattoo on her back. She will always be the black sheep of her family because of that brand on her back given to her by her own mother Raina. Whom she actually loved like a mother until that day.
Birthdate: June 21
Age: 22
Physical Description:
The tradition of the von Hammerwhirl family is long and deep within everything they wear and how pretty they must be for the women in the family. Louise is standing at five foot and six inches and weighs 130 lbs, her body frame is a bit more robust and beautiful looking in terms of an hourglass shape. She looks a bit stronger since its mostly because of the rigorous training tradition of the family in most things. Her silver eyes always have a burning fire within them that has never dimmed but only became brighter after being freed of the tradition. Louise’s hair is the most unique thing about her, which is because it can catch a lit and look as if it is on fire, when it is actually fire. It is vibrant and it’s color is red, which normally when it isn’t catch a lit by the change of oxygen in the room or if she gets into a heated conversation that usually causes the room to heat up as well.
Louise has a tattoo brand on her back, which is called the Firebringer. It is a tattoo showing what she did to cause her to become the disowned from her family, it is an image of a home burning down with wicked flames attached to said house. This is a way for the von Hammerwhirl family to never forget or never forgive what Louise has done. She wears mage gear, which was handcrafted by her own family to painstakingly decrease the intensity of the flames. They sprout from her new clothes since they are an insulator for said uncontrollable magics she wields. The Necklace around her necklace does the opposite of what other magical stones do instead of allowing the flames and fires to writhe and go out of control. It absorbs the magic fire before it is able to escape and damage the surrounding lands or buildings.
She wields a specific fire staff, which the von Hammerwhirl family knows much about it is called the Goreflame Staff. It was very fitting for her since its based around what she wanted the most freedom and the staff wanted it too. The Staff is very creepy in how it can speak to her and other people as if it is a living magical weapon. Louise has a highly deep understanding of certain things rather than others, however, the freedom she feels now than she did is breathtaking. It’s in how she walks, which is different to how she walked or ran before it’s like she was running from the tradition and now she runs because she can and will to whatever she’ll get.
Louise has a necklace around her neck that’s in a bow-shaped look since its her mother’s handcrafted silver necklace, which she got after her being disowned. It’s one of the important items in her whole world since her mother still truly loves her but has to act cruel and mean since her father would probably do the same to her.
Important Items:
The Goreflame Staff
The entire staff is made up of Obsidian, which is why it is black with fire spouting from its top. It gave everyone in the von Hammerwhirl a fright every time it speaks as a mother and her two children. The only person that wasn’t afraid of the staff, which was Louise since it is a flame staff. She enjoyed speaking to a staff that sounds like a mother and two children that were brutally sacrificed in creating this staff for a powerful fire mage. The Souls within the Staff itself the mother, her teenage daughter and her youngest child are 31 years old, 15 years old and 9 to 10 years old in question. In terms of what it does, other than the creepy voices coming from the staff itself.
It can empower one spell within Louise’s Arsenal to be more much more controllable than her magic usually is, since it is as wild as her. It takes a day for it to recharge its ability to empower a single spell within Louise’s arsenal to make it more direct towards a more defensive than offensive spell. The oddity of these transforming offensive spells into defensive is because of the souls within the Staff trying to protect their wielder in anyway possible.
The additionally oddly weird thing it can do is stand perfectly still within the middle of a room as if it is being held. However, it isn't being held because it is watching over the room in question it is placed in by Louise. Louise usually places it in in the middle of the Inn room, which she sleeps in.
The Bow-Shaped Necklace of Opposites
The Bow-Shaped Necklace of Opposites is a highly unique pendant necklace, which its bow-shaped pendant opens up showing her mother Raina and herself on the other side. It’s mostly telling her that no matter what Raina will always be her mother even though the head of the family outright disallows it, which is her father Steven. Her mother is still wielding her favorite bow in the picture and would rather die than see her own child killed by Steven for basically being a mage.
Louise’s Journal
Louise has always kept a journal to record things that she wishes to keep from people but its pretty obvious her childhood wasn’t that fun compared to what she’s doing now. She has never regretted for what she did to her family’s home because of the fact it was needed to show her father some humility. However, it made her definitely afraid of him since he was justified in his 100% stance in killing her ever since Louise was found out to be a Mage. The Journal has the von Hammerwhirl coat of arms on the back of it.
Gold Pouch
Starting Faction:
Alhryt-Liu Trade & Lending Company
Louise joined the Alhryt-Liu Trade & Lending Company, which she could get away from her blatantly highly ridged family’s traditions. It’s primarily because her entire family outright disowned her for what she did before she went to join the company. She is a message runner for the company about escaped slaves, which is basically a general laborer job. The Company themselves don’t care about the fact she is a mage.
Spell List:
The Will of Fire
The Will of Fire is basically an effected by her mood, which if she ever gets into an agrument that makes her extremely angry. It causes her flames that sprout off her body, clothes to start moving to do something a bit more dangerous than usual, which is basically arson. She lost control of what she basically is and caused her childhood home to burn down.
Empowered Effect: This changes the Will of Fire from a highly dangerous burn everything down type spell into a fire shield, which wraps gently around Louise protecting her from anything that is easily burned if it is shot directly at her. The empowered effect is from the Goreflame Staff. You have to say, ’Please Goreflame Staff shield me from the projectiles of the people who would harm me.’
The Rain of Fire
The Rain of Fire is basically a spell that she casts to effect a large area in front of her, which constantly pelts the area with fire balls that rain from the skies. It’s damage differs when its against nature or against people, when it faces nature its pretty much highly destructive. While the people will usually only have third degree burns unless they are healed by a person taught in advanced medicines and cures of the time.
Empowered Effect: This changes the Rain of Fire into the Wall of Fire, which causes it to rise from the ground in a definite wall shape in front of her. It’s a protective barrier against anyone stupid enough to try to charge at her without thinking ahead and it protects her from arrows and bolts too. The empowered effect is from the Goreflame Staff. You have to say, ‘Please Goreflame Staff wall off these intruders from my sight so I don’t have to look at them anymore.’
The Elemental of Fire
The Elemental of Fire is a powerful fire spell, which she learned from the Goreflame Staff. It allows her to control a single fire elemental as long as she’s able to keep calm and collected. The Elemental has two primary forms of attacking, which are the use of fireballs or a flame whip in keeping people in line with whoever is required to stay in line. The elemental looks like a 31 year old woman in size and height but has bluish green pulsing eyes while staring at people. It talks similarly as the older soul within the Goreflame Staff.
Empowered Effect: This changes the Elemental of Fire into the Aura of Fire, which causes Louise to calm down and remain focused on whatever task she was doing before she got angry and uncontrollable. It’s primarily a focusing aura of fire than an aura of fire that harms people, it is still hot to the touch but would feel like hot water falling on your face more than anything. The empowered effect is from the Goreflame Staff. You have to say, ’Please Goreflame Staff stop me from doing something stupid and keep me focused.’
The Fire Seal
The Fire Seal spell is a spell, which she learned from the Goreflame Staff. It allows her to place a seal on the ground, which bars off a person from going a certain direction. When it activates it warns any nearby guards or others to the person whom tried to escape from their cell. The activation sound is a laughter at blocking someone’s escape. However, there can only be only two of these placed at a time and they cannot be activated at the same time since there’s a delay to the trap’s activation.
Empowered Effect: This changes the Fire Seal into the Flame Longbow, which Louise is able to wield in her hands as long as they are on fire. Both seals on the ground are completely dissipated and utterly transforms the seals if they haven’t been activated into a Flame Quiver with 15 Flame Arrows to be used. It’s specifically shaped into whatever bow she likes the look of, which is why it looks specifically like her mother’s bow in the picture. The empowered effect is from the Goreflame Staff. You will have to say, ’Please Goreflame Staff make my aim true so I can feel like my mother feels when she wields a bow.’
Exceptional Skill List:
The Raina Style of Archery (Exceptional Archery)
Louise is completely able to wield any bow or crossbow as long as she wields them for hunting purposes. It’s mostly because her mother Raina was taught from a young age to wield a longbow to hunt her own food and what not. Raina passed down her skills in hunting down animals to her daughter Louise since she saw she would need it sooner than later.
The von Hammerwhirl’s Endurance (Exceptional Endurance)
The Rigorous training regimen that her father put her through has increased her endurance to be better and able to handle certain things better. It’ll take a long time for her endurance to be as great as her father or any of the Hammerwhirl Family’s greatest warriors for hire. That are also great mage killers on top of it. It is why she’s a bit more built for wearing heavier armor than most woman her size.
Personality:
Louise has quite a hotheaded streak throughout her childhood while growing up. It caused her constantly to butt heads with her father Steven. He was a bit of a prick and didn’t see her as a daughter and more of an obstacle to be dealt with in the most severe ways. However, he tried to pass down some knowledge and tradition to her, however, she didn’t want it at all because how he didn’t treat her with respect. Their relationship was never really going to be fixed since niether of them got what they wanted throughout their whole life living together. She thought to try to teach her father some humility but it was no use and caused her to literally do something she never has regretted since.
She was wholly sick and tired how everyone in her family minus her own mother treated her. They kept her shackled without having the actual shackles on her at the house like a caged bird unable to go free. All the things in the family was mandatory no matter what because of the family’s tradition, which caused her to feel definitely not enjoying her time there. It would’ve taken something distrastic for her to be free of her shackles, which caused her to walk up to her father one day and literally tell him off. However, what he said to her that day caused her to be very afraid of him, which is why she never felt sorry for the burning of her own home. It felt more like a prison than a loving and caring home.
Louise was finally free, however, she had to lose her connection with her mother Raina because she had to say some very mean things to her. Raina always loved her daughter Louise and never going to ruin that because of what her husband Steven wants. She got what she always wanted from her mother, which is the necklace of opposites. It was the most prideful thing she liked from her mother’s necklace collection. She’s much more calm and collected around her mother but her magic goes wild when around her father Steven since he’s a bit of an asshole. It pained her mother to brand her daughter with the tattoo of what she had done but it was one step closer to the freedom she desires the most.
She got her freedom even though she got disowned by her family, however, she’s able to do what she wanted to do and that’s to do whatever is in her own power to make a name for herself. It’s the first time she felt not tied to a name and a home because of her father Steven but truly herself.
Short Bio:
Louise was born to Steven Janus von Hammerwhirl and Raina August von Hammerwhirl on a beautiful summer morning on the 21st of June. They didn’t know at the time that Louise was in the most aspects was a mage and couldn’t control her powers not at all. Throughout her young childhood within the family was basically a loving warm family taking care of their new addition to the family. However, Steven was mostly out on his contracts working as a Mage Killer or otherwise. Her mother Raina stayed at home mostly keeping her two children at the time happy and keeping each other out of trouble. It was basically the reason why it was a loving home at first.
This loving home changed to a basically a landscape of hell that was unable to stop when Louise was at least eight years old. Is when one of the maids in the home saw her hair on fire, as if she was burning to death, however, it was more like she was awakening to her magical potential. Her father outright put out the fire, however, a few moments of the hair being dried it lit back up. Steven was utmost furious at the whole ordeal and called a mandatory family meeting about what to do with the awakened mage in their own family. He ignored his wife’s pleas of not killing the child on her 15th birthday alike all the others that have been killed because they awakened to their magical potential. However, when he asked her response, she outright yelled it to her husband to not kill Louise Ester von Hammerwhirl and she’ll be responsible for anything the child will do or will not do with her magic. It was because of that plea from Raina August von Hammerwhirl that allowed their daughter Louise to stay alive. This one decision made Steven outright dickish towards his wife Raina and his daughter Louise in particular he stopped loving them.
Louise had to go through every single thing her father put her through with a face of irritation. As she got older, the more annoyingly question asking towards her father she was, she constantly asked questions to her father in why he was being distant. She did get through him in making him stop being so distant with Raina, it took this child he outright despised to fix his relationship with her mother. Steven outright didn’t thank the black sheep for the help, he did gave her a backhanded insult to the youngish girl. She was 15 years old at the time when that backhanded insult happened. It was obvious she didn’t like the insult her father gave her since she had a definite trying time to keep herself calm in not losing control of what she had.
She had a better connection with her mother than her father anyway. However, Steven needed some humility and becoming generous again because he was being quite distant and hateful towards her. Exactly three years later, she walked into her father’s study and asked him specifically why he called her a black sheep and all the mean and hateful things he said to her while she was growing up. Steven looked directly at her and told her, her useless mother should have let you die by his own hands in a battle to the death combat. But Raina had to outright say no, alike she was protecting her own daughter from her mage killer father. Louise at this moment became highly afraid and lost her calm and collective hotheaded persona and she went out and said the one thing that her father said to her all the time. In the moment of fury and hate, she told her father specifically she hated him for being a cruel monster that butcher the helpless. This caused her will of fire to go out of control and tried to kill her father exactly because of his plainly disrespect of fighting fair. The von Hammerwhirl family fights fair in a fight, but she told him I guess fighting fair doesn’t matter if it is against mages.
Steven outright laughed at her blatantly insulting towards the traditions of the family, however, he always knew mages were unjust to live. However, he promised his wife not to harm Louise if she debases herself to show what all mages want and that’s his head and his family broken and destroyed. He was a bit amazed that his daughter wanted to kill him, however. It made him tinge at the thought of being killed by a mage in his own family, however, he shrugged off the magic emitting from his daughter. Steven outright called his daughter weak and hopeless, if his hands weren’t tied behind his back he would kill her right now with his Great Maul in its holder on the ground. However, she was furious and the will of fire of her entire body started to engulf the home. She told her father, than you don’t deserve a home to live in I felt hopeless in this house and I now know the reason for this, you father.
Steven learned on single thing he should ignore his wife’s pleas the next time this happens with any of his children and kill them when they turn 15. He knew all the house was already evacuated because he was planning to upgrade his home anyway but it needed to be burnt down anyways. Louise was confused in why she was thanked for burning down their home. However, she fainted from her magical power being overexerting a bit too much since the entire mansion was being consumed by fire. He helped her since he can handle the heat and didn’t want his own daughter to die by something stupid as being exhausted while in a burning building. The only good thing he done for his daughter the entire time she was alive. In a sense, he was taught humility but didn’t care about such things since his daughter was a mage.
Louise woke up awhile later in a small house with her mother sitting by her. Raina told her that her family agreed of disowning her and outright freeing her of the bonds of her name. However, Louise was a bit tearful when she learned that she wouldn’t be able to use her full name. Raina tried to calm her down since not many people will know what she has done since they are so removed from Venedig. She could still use her name as long as she doesn’t show the tattoo she has to be given, which is unable to be removed via the magic she wields. It is basically called the firebringer tattoo, it describes very well on her back that she burnt down the childhood home of her, her elder brother Ethan and her younger sister Fiona. She was basically happy to get the tattoo since she would feel better outside and walking about being helpful instead of helpless. Raina told her how long the new renovation will take in terms of rebuilding the mansion brand new. She finally realized why her father thanked her for burning down the house now, she was necessary. It took her a bit and sighed because that’s too much for her the last thing her father did was make her burn down their own house. However, she always felt like it was required for her to feel better than she always had.
It took at least 3 years for them to create the necessary gear for her to decrease her magical potential and she was given the most creepy staff in the vault of the von Hammerwhirl Family, the Goreflame Staff. The only part of the mansion that was completely untouched since it can withstand much more than a fire. She was not really creeped out by the weapon they gave to her but she was a bit dazzled by the fact it could speak in a feminine voice. However, she was told that there’s three souls within the Goreflame Staff that are female that were sacrificed for nothing basically by her father. Since the mage was overconfident and was caught completely unaware by the Mage Killers that were hunting him.
After all that she was let go and she traveled where her freedom wanted her to go, which caused her to find herself in Venedig and joining the Alhryt-Liu Trade and Lending Company as a lowly message runner for the company about escaped slaves. The company didn’t really mind she was a mage at all because they allow all sorts of folks to join their company. She just turned 22 years old when she joined up with the Alhryt-Liu Trade and Lending Company.
Additional Information
The von Hammerwhirl Family are steeped in tradition and routine that served them for many generations and the fact they outright have a hostile reaction to any form of magic. They are blatantly ignorant and arrogant towards anyone who’s deemed a mage and sees it as a form of cheating. They are highly honorable when fighting in another faction’s wars or any such aggressive action, which they always strive in saving the civilians first instead of letting them die. They primarily wield great mauls, tower shields and heavy plate mail with chained mail underneath to protect themselves from arrows.
It has said they usually get hired by the City Government of Venedig and any other faction that gives them a large amount of coin to fight against bandits or monsters of the surrounding area of the city. It is said a terrible calamity befell the family when their family gained an unlikely very heated debate surrounding their second born daughter Louise. It is very rare that a mage is born within the Hammerwhirl family but whenever it happens they usually do the best option and kill the child, however, the mother didn’t want Louise to die. This was pretty much the reason why Louise was left alive throughout her childhood always unable to wield what she was, a mage. She felt like a caged bird in a very tight knit community of people who will always hate her for what she is rather than being open minded about the future.
The family after a certain thing happened outright disowned Louise because of this. Her family curses her name and calls her the Firebringer as a highly negative outlook. Her mother has regretted her decision in allowing her child live but its too late for that. The von Hammerwhirl family are one of the family’s that people usually hire to hunt down and kill Mages if they are too dangerous. However, the scar on the family is the fact they allowed Louise to live when they should have all came to the agreement to kill the girl when she came to the age of 15.
Venedig is 1000 years old and has been part of the Reich since its founding. The Reich itself is 2000 - 3000 years old. The tribal peoples who came before the Reich revered 'Gods' who were in fact Mortals empowered by Magic. Hatred for Magic is not a major thing in the world and would be seen as a form of madness.
It's all implied or even stated in the OOC OP, in the 'Reich des Goldenen Grahles' hider.
Edit: Okay, it's implied that the Reich lasted for a few centuries and not a millenium before the formation of the Great Inland Sea and the founding of Venedig. But there was still a full millennium after those events.
What you said specifically about a form of madness is very fitting for Louise's family traditions. It took the kindness of her mother to literally break the cycle they have been going on for basically 115 years since the creation of the traditions. Basically a mother outright wanting to protect her daughter to stop the crazy shit that's happening in the family so they would go back to their roots more or less. However, the dissolution of the traditions altogether will take two to three years with assistance of making sure this doesn't happen again.
The traditions before the 115 year mark in the von Hammerwhirl Family was basically similarly based around worshiping craftsmanship and how well they can make weapons/armor. But they slowly transited into something a bit different, which ended with Steven's departure ala, Mage Killers. Since he no longer wants to wield his great maul against a family member again, no matter if they are a mage or not. However, his children aren't corrupted by the traditions of the old since they were paying lip service to him. It didn't help the traditions primarily hurt the growth of Louise as a mage.
All her magic abilities are a bit uncontrollable because of her upbringing. Her elder brother Ethan and younger sister Fiona were definitely empathic to her plight of what their father put the family through. A literal madness amongst one of the family members. It shows that the von Hammerwhirl family is changing for the better and no longer going to use those traditions of madness. Since Raina didn't like them anyway. However, all family's have bad eggs? It just showed that Steven was a bit more stuck on the tradition without looking passed it. Even though the battle to the death was a thing back then but it was mainly for the son or daughter who could do a better job than the Father in terms of Leadership. It was a challenge basically to replace the father by battle to the death, which turned into that specific overwhelmingly cruel thing towards Magi.
Edit: The family traditions basically broke on Louise's 8th birthday because of her mother's kindness. Since that's when it was 115 years, however, her father tried to keep them going but failed pretty badly. Which is why he used the last resort of disownedment of his daughter, which is a 3 years wait.
@Letter Bee It's a good thing her father is the last of the old traditionalists within the family since the old traditions were based in the past really far in the past like centuries old traditions that didn't change with the times of the Major Nations.
Raina on the other hand, was more in the know of the gifts of mages, which is why she didn't want her daughter to die for one and the other even though all family's are a bit 'enteric' thinkers. Raina's elder sister is a mage that heals the wounded and less fortunate.
Raina, Ethan and Fiona was playing along with the old dog that can't play new tricks ala Steven. Since Ethan isn't really using his equipment to fight mages more like protect them since he heard that protecting mages would pay more than hunting them down since that's against the nations rules. Ethan and Fiona learned the hundreds upon hundreds of traditions need to be changed so they can stopped being looked down upon for what their father and his ancestors caused them harm for so long. In terms of that single rule of 1 to 1 combat to the death with a child who's of their family. Steven retired his maul and went into a self-serving exile from his wife, and two children that still lives at the von Hammerwhirl rebuilt mansion. Because he learned he shouldn't have been so hard on Louise but was too much of a individual that couldn't believe any what thing the other families were trying to teach him that Mages and magic should be celebrated than what his family has done for generations. He gave the right of leadership to Raina, to change some of the more insane of his family's long list of traditions that aren't made for the present.
Louise knows nothing of this but her mother Raina would be a better leader of the family than her father since they constantly fought nonetheless. Because she wanted to leave the Estate. It's going to take about a long time until the von Hammerwhirl Family's traditions are completely different from what Steven was protecting for so long. But they are changing from their boorish behavior to a more acceptable apart of society as a whole. It was the reason why Raina gave her pendant necklace to her daughter so Louise could always remember the good times rather than the bad.
I have to say, intriguing I decided to join this roleplay and I have already a little something to join with. My character and she's a mage by the way. It's pretty intriguing in how long it took to create this profile, only 8 hours in total. (8 hours ago to now) I'm back in making profiles again.
”My family’s Traditions are too ridged and blatantly negative towards my growth as a mage.”

Holly was thinking about things while looking at her status and noticed static charge on it. It was a pretty annoying to her but it could always be worse she supposed. She only faced certain mechanics in other video games that weren’t that annoying. It was pretty much obvious she noticed Willow’s annoyance at the mechanic in-question. In terms of her walking out of the inn, however, she couldn’t really help but sigh when Willow came back in with frustrated look on her face. It was pretty much obvious it didn’t work. ”What’s worst being statically charged or having a hell of a time within a game because game developers are being cruel?” Holly thought to herself, with a slight frustrated look on her face.
Holly decided to sit down at the table that Willow was sitting at and heard the waitress’ greeting and had a smile on her face. It was pretty funny at least, it was unique to this game to have great NPCs. ”I would definitely like to have the ale, sliced fruit and stew. It would definitely help my mood.” Holly said, with a smile. She got out 12cp for the order she gave the waitress that was talking to Willow. It was pretty much obvious that she was exhausted from how she was acting and needed a pick me up from the whole ordeal of that battle, Lost Genesis had. She saw River standing at the bar, which meant he got them beds for all of them. It gave her a slight smile at least friends are always required for this type of thing.
Holly looked at Willow with a slight smile but definitely went back to frowning and a bit frustrated. It was taking her a bit to wonder what to say because its pretty much obvious the last boss was definitely on her nerves. She had many other things on her mind but she’s grateful she’s with her friends even though she will never meet Karuu face to face since he died on the floor one boss. It took her a bit, which caused her to put her head down on the table. ”This game is constantly reinforcing that it sucks worse than all the other ones I’ve played with you guys… Never would have thought I would be trapped within a game with my friends...” Holly quietly said towards Willow.
Diana’s Brutal Reality – References – September 26, 1914 (Siege of Amone)
Diana was starring at her pendant necklace still, which was dear to her because of her parents gifted it to her. This one necklace gave her the reference of a simpler time, which gave her a smile on her face. It was the primary reason, why she tried to constantly try to keep her mind on keeping her humanity from all the crazy shit that happened in this war. However, it was pretty hard to do so since this war is chaotic, crazy and everything. She is basically trying to hold on her humanity as much as possible even if it hurts her career in the military. ”All of this is a pain… guess it could be worse I suppose? The gas attack is going to be a nightmare I will constantly have or other some such. The people who ordered that are stupid as fuck.” Diana thought to herself, with a slight annoyance in her face. However, she looked up and noticed Reyna at a table surrounded by tons of letters, which made her giggle somewhat.
She decided to put back on her silver pendant necklace around her neck, with it still opened at least. However, she picked up the plate of cookies, which were great cookies that her mother created and wanted to know if Reyna wanted some. She walked over to Reyna’s table with all those letters and sighed at the letters, which are a bit too much for one person to handle. ”T-That many letters, you got there, Reyna. Do you want a cookie for your troubles?” Diana asked, curiously since her mother’s cookies are wonderful and a good stress relief. She giggled slightly at what she had said because its a bit funny. However, she remembered what she promised Jean that she’ll definitely tell Reyna about Jean’s affections towards everyone. ”Oh yeah… Reyna, Jean confessed to me that he likes you, me and Kalisa. It gave me a bit of a shock that he confessed to me particular.” Diana said, however, she was curious what Jean did afterwards the dance since she didn’t see it. She sat down at Reyna’s table and glanced at all the letters mostly because there’s too many for Reyna to handle.
Diana noticed some of the letters, with certain words on them and kinda looks like the envelopes, which hold love letters within them. Her mother Rebecca specifically dislikes getting love letters from random people and/or assholes. It caused her to giggle somewhat because her mother would say some curse words and throw away the letters in question in the trash or burn them. ”God, if my mother Rebecca was here she would probably be on purposely trying to burn those letters she tells me are the worst… from random people and assholes mainly.” Diana said with a giggle trying to hold herself from laughing to loudly since her mother curses a bit too much when it involves love letters. It doesn’t help her mother still gets them from her ex, which is also her childhood friend from way back when. She looks through the letters and notices a recognizable name, which is Randall since her father was praising him for making his money honestly. Gavin was also praising Hall Industries too, in the same sentence. ”T-That’s… many letters from your father Reyna. Uhhh.. what’s your mother’s name? My father Gavin praised your father’s business and everything. Don’t know how he knew that before me…” Diana said, remembering she only learned about Hall Industries from Reyna in this war in terms of what it does exactly. She smiled happily because of this whole thing. It was pretty much obvious she wanted to focus on something that doesn’t involve Luke and Ines in her thoughts. Reyna is definitely that person to focus on something else. ”...I am mixed up in all my thoughts right now… At least Reyna is sweet and the tea she made was nice.” Diana thought to herself for a second, with a goofy looking grin on her face, mostly because of the fact she’s still thinking about everything.
She sighed deeply and got herself a cookie from the tray and started to eat it. All the other people can still get a cookie if they wanted she has plenty more where these came from. ”My mother always says, being quiet doesn’t get you anywhere. Reyna can I have that recipe for that Tea you’ve made since it was wonderful and helped me through me deciding to lose at the drinking competition I had with Luke and Victoria. Since I wouldn’t have won anyway.” Diana said, however, there was something else on her mind. It was mostly because she did notice Reyna was starring at her while they danced it was a bit embarrassing to remember but it was definitely fun to enjoy yourself once in awhile. ”I did enjoy that dance you danced with me too… even though it was a bit embarrassing… It definitely helped me get over what I was going through in terms of me crying, so thank you.” Diana said, with a bit of a smile on her face and had an embarrassing look on her face. It was mostly because she didn’t properly say thank you to Reyna for the dance because of her mood was a bit crying but the dance she saw with Jean and Reyna looked fun. It is an experience she will never leave from her heart since it enjoyable and if it wasn’t for this war it would be fun to try some more dancing with Reyna as a friend.
Diana took off her silver pendant necklace of her neck and opened it so Reyna can see it. On the right, showed her mother Rebecca, the one she constantly talked about and Gavin her father on the left. They are the only two pillars in her life that is a constant in it. However, joining this war gave her more pillars and people to rely on. ”Here’s my parents Gavin and Rebecca, my mother still basically looks like this… these were taken when they were 23 years old.” Diana said, happily while talking about her parent’s photos in the pendant. The only thing that was more exciting was the fact now more people get to see them. It took her a few moments but she remembered what she said about Reyna’s tea and couldn’t help but blush about what’s going on in her head. ”C-Crap...” Diana said, with a nervous twinge.

Holly was definitely shaken from all that happened in the last floor, which was specifically the lost of an ally and friend. It didn’t help she was exhausted, sore, and feeling a bit cold from the raining. She equipped her raincoat from her inventory, therefore, it wouldn’t be as bad, but the transitioning to this landscape was amazing and beautiful even though it was raining. ”I definitely have much shopping to do… to resupply and stuff.” Holly thought to herself, while trying to keep up with the group she can see. It didn’t help it was dark, which was an additionally hazard she didn’t like, she wasn’t terrified of it but fear of the unknown is a definite thing. She had more important matters to handle right now.
Holly was lost in her own thoughts for awhile, since she was grateful she had a bow like she has or she would’ve been defenseless in that battle. She knew somethings about that battle on the last floor was a disaster, which is she mostly got from her father. He always said, being under preparedness and lack of coordination causes disaster. I hope no one else dies from my friends since I would hate that the most...” Holly thought to herself, it was basically remembering what her father said about not knowing all sides of a conflict. This was definitely a conflict, which she involves her living to the end goal of winning this game so she can free herself.
Holly made sure she hurried to the nearest town she saw in the distance by the lightning, which was a beautiful city from the looks like. She had specifically a shopping list to do since she needed more health, mana potions and arrows. It came across her mind, which she unlocked the Ranger Subclass and should ask around in the city how to properly use it. She remembered why she picked Ranger Subclass specifically for the maneuverability rather than wielding heavy crossbows. It was on the box art for the Archer class that it has two distinct subclasses. However, she needed to stick with her friends and allies in Lost Genesis. Because of the death in their guild, Karuu is dead.
The only thing that helped in all this was the fact she could relax and take it somewhat easy in the town that they would be relaxing in. She needed to get some rest after that horribleness anyway, which was always annoying to her. It was pretty much obvious she wanted to get out of the rain so she headed towards the Tipsy Trodoon mostly because of River’s message through the guild message system. ”Uhh that’s a funny name of an Inn...” Holly thought to herself with a slight smile on her face. She remembered it is a fantasy game so inns are named silly names rather than the luxurious hotels and inns in real life, like the French Quarter Inn, which her father been to for a business meeting one year. It was a bit odd for him to go all the way to South Carolina for a business meeting but it was pretty much common for him to go all over the US to talk to clients.
Stephanie had a kind smile on her face when Cisna sat down next to her since it was nice to meet more people in her own way. It’s better to have a smile on your face than trying to confront people, how her parents wanted her to be. She heard Cisna’s name when she introduced herself, with a gentle smile on her face and like happy to hear the name. ”Cisna, that’s a wonderful name. Sarah, my adopted mother, she was more of a mother than my own biological mother Rita. I was happy in the presence of Sarah since she taught me many things especially that everyone has their given name for reasons and you shouldn’t hate it. But I hate my last name because it’s literally tied to the Delia-Mira Mercenary Band that are horrible...” Stephanie said. It is definitely hinted in her tone she loved Sarah much more than Rita because Sarah is the reason for her learning in her element magic of water. She deeply sighed and hopefully Sarah is still alright even though she doesn’t want to check on her because of the fact her hometown is under control of those same mercenaries that was to protect the city.
It was definitely a hard thing for her to handle most of all, which is why she had to run away from home. Sarah was there for her through all her nightmares of seeing horribleness and other type of things as if her mother and father were demons. She heard Cisna and felt a bit of a similarity, which they both had horrible parents. It was relaxing to hear someone else also had pretty bad parents. ”It was awful I had constant nightmares of my mother Rita killing me constantly in them as a Demonic entity, a Succubus? I finally stopped having them after I slept in my bedroom in the Sanctuary, I cried happy tears seeing it. I’m grateful to Satelle in having Rita’s older sister right in that town I would’ve been killed in by my own mother. My parents were highly disappointed in how I am, but its better to be yourself than someone else… that’s what Sarah always said.” Stephanie said. Her tone of voice was highly shaking when she more or less revealed she had terrible nightmares about her mother killing her constantly as if she was a demon. She doesn’t want to change in some mass murdering killer like her parents are, since they care not for civilian causalities as long as they get their mark it is all that counts. It was definitely constantly made her feel bad for all the people they killed just to get a contract finished to perfection.
Stephanie was shaking a bit because of that reveal about what she had to go through for six years of her life of those awful nightmares. However, she felt a bit of kinship with Cisna since how the tone in her voice showed she had horrible parents too. ”S-Sorry about that… I had to get that off my chest. It’s been six long years of those nightmares, which didn’t help living in my hometown of Gondrevil. Even with my adopted mother Sarah being Mayor of it. I feel much safer here than I ever did in Sarah’s mansion. She taught me water magic even though my mood when I learned it was sad and depressed...” Stephanie said. She couldn’t help but tear up because of the fact she misses Sarah much, she gave her knowledge that is invaluable, like what she told her of the proud Anserians and their enemies the Dremorians. The two races were very similar but opposite, in terms one primarily uses Light Magic and the other uses Dark Magic. Sarah told her about their magics, which they were great at and told her to specifically stay away form any contact from the Dremorian Empire. She remembered her adopted mother’s voice when talking about the Dremorian Empire, she was afraid of their ambition. It was hardly a thing to remember but she usually does these things since her and Sarah had long conversations about other races that her parents talked about. However, the only race her parents never talked about was the Dremorians. It was an odd thing, alike they were afraid of them as well.
She continued to eat her breakfast, which was definitely good since it reminds her of Sarah’s cooking it was top notch. It was definitely helping her bring back memories of all the things. In terms of it, she looked at Cisna, which she more or less poured out what she had to go through. All because of her parents Rita and Derrick of all people. She slightly smiled, which she sighed a bit. It’s because of the fact her parents would’ve definitely killed her the first chance they gotten and wouldn’t held back on her because she had no idea how to use their weapons. She felt like they forced their weapons on her just so they could replace them with more crueler weapons. ”Out of everything, I hate my parent’s hand-me downs. Because of their backfiring nature they have built in them, if you fuck up a single word in their phrase to use said spell they backfire...” Stephanie said, feeling like she’s repeating herself but its true because the Firebrand Rapier & Icebrand Shortsword don’t fit her at all. She’s grateful that Vilkas is going to make her a weapon that fits her perfectly. ”Vilkas, I am definitely happy that you are going to make me a weapon while learning everything of my parent’s hand-me downs…” Stephanie said, with a feeling of relief.
Stephanie had a definite look on her face of sincerity mostly at the fact Vilkas was scowling at her parent’s elements in terms of Fire & Ice perspective. It definitely was a bit annoying in having parents like, which didn’t allow her to be herself only a person who allowed her to be alike themselves. However, what he said next kinda made her smile mostly at the fact her relationship with her parents was pretty bad since her own mother tried to kill her. ”Y-Yeah… not that great since I hated them altogether for making me try to change who I am. However, it didn’t help that my own mother Rita tried to kill me when I was ten years old… for the goddess I worshiped compared to them. Stephanie said, still shocked and terrified at that for what Rita wanted to do to her. She was grateful for the protection of her goddess saving her in terms of the Paladin Order of Satelle in Baterol, which was six years ago. It was definitely interesting in hearing Vilkas talk about how someone can tell by their natural magic, and how it may change over time, it was unique to hear that. She was shocked and gasped when he said Dromon’s name again and it shifted from Light to Grey. ”That’s pretty interesting in terms of the Elemental affinities of Grey, and its name too, Thaumaturge. This is the first time I heard of Grey/Thaumaturge.” Stephanie said, with a curious look on her face. It was definitely the first time since Dromon was always a Holy Dragon to the not long lived race of humans and never piss him off since he’s terrifying anyway.
She perked up with what she heard him say next about making her a weapon. ”I would love to have a weapon all my own that isn’t a hand-me down from my parents.” Stephanie said excitedly. The elements that synchronize with water were Air and Green Magic and she saw the runic sigils of each element that he called up. She heard specifically what is in return for crafting her a weapon that’s all her own, however, she didn’t bring her father’s Icebrand Shortsword with her since its still in her bedroom. ”You may study these weapons… even though my father’s hand-me down is in my bedroom. I wanted to bring my mother’s weapon to see if I could train with it but it would probably be better to train with something more my element. That sounds pretty ominous in terms of darker enchantments...” Stephanie said, with a whole heartily sigh of relief at someone else learning every single thing about her parent’s weapons.
However, it did remind her that her parents constantly boasted about getting their target with acceptable causalities of civilians, which were in the way. It was a nightmare to even learn the very first magical sword technique, which is an off-shoot school of Elemental Magic and Magical Engineering. Out of the two swords, she feared the backfiring of the Icebrand Sword more but it backfired less frequently while her mother’s weapon backfired the most and felt like on command by her own mother. ”I outright disliked when they backfired… but my father’s sword I feared more when it backfired… since you can probably tell what that would mean since his element is Ice.” Stephanie additionally said. It took around 11 – 15 years old for her to learn the basic magical sword techniques from both of her parent’s weapons even though it was definitely a trying time for her. Being constantly burnt and dropping the weapon and having her mother laugh at her didn’t help or the fact her father was carefully watching her and not really happy with the results of her heartlessness, which she didn’t have. She knew her mother was still pissed from the time she tried to kill her, however, she made no act towards that for some odd reason. ”I guess that’s because of the necklace I wore… why mother didn’t act on her first instinct to kill me… without question. She was laughing constantly at me for fucking up, however. Derrick on the other hand was cold and calculating as he was always but disliked the killer instinct…” Stephanie thought to herself, with an annoyed look of disdain for her parents in particular. Their attitude towards her didn’t really change throughout training her while she couldn’t really feel any love from them since they are monsters or demons in human skin. It was because of those nightmares that made her feel that way.
Stephanie, however, heard Vilkas’ response to Cisna and just smiled towards her with a friendly smile. It was definitely refreshing at the fact she’s happy right now. ”Please Sit and enjoy chatting with me and Vilkas.” Stephanie said, with a happy smile on her face towards Cisna. However, she came to a realization that her parents were probably hunting for her, which she knew they wanted to kill her. She went a bit pale with that bit of definite fear, which is a great thing she was in Sanctuary away from those awful parents of hers. It took her a bit of a time to get out of the whole thing since she’s safe and why would she leave Sanctuary to go back to that terrible place of reality. She wants to get stronger so her parents aren’t able to use their experiences against her and their power over her. ”S-Sorry… I just remembered my hometown is basically under control of my parents… and the Mercenary Band they co-lead, which are terrible bunch of mercenaries...” Stephanie said, with fear of what happened to all the people in Gondrevil. However, those nightmares made her leave her hometown to join Sanctuary. Because if she stayed a moment longer she would have definitely been killed by her parents.
