@ImportantNobody My first post is up, it's a bit shorter than I wanted it to be. But without my opponent near me, I can't particularly dialogue.
Seek and Destroy.

To merely think of battle and be transported to the battleground, what a novel concept. If Shin were a bit more insubordinate, he would have questioned why his god didn't utilize such a technique to displace him to various targets of questionable motive. Though he isn't, and he entirely respects his god's decisions. These are just musings.

It was almost immediately after the announcement that Shin was teleported to his field of battle, a small wasteland that reminded him of home. This might actually be his home, and in fact, he was concerned that he had been transported back home for coming off too maniacal. It wasn't until he spotted a small wooden shack that was far too different from his temple that he found relief from this concern.

It was a rather nice day, comfortable temperature with a delightful breeze. Nothing like a nice sunny day for killing, eh? The Assassin reached into his coat pocket, searching for his Black Staff. A hot wave of embarrassment flushed over him as the realization struck. "I left it back at the island." The ashamed assassin patted himself down, trying to find any sort of weapon on himself. Fortunately, he had left the Kusarigama hooked to his waist. A reliable tool, though nowhere near as reliable as his weapon of choice. It would serve the purpose of dispatching his unfortunate first foe.

Now, in the distance he could spy a tower of stone. Likely where the battle was intended to take place, so Shin withdrew the weapon from his hip and pulled the chain free. Letting the blade dangle slightly to his side, it swung back and forth like a pendulum.

The road lead down to the tower and away from the house. Wherever he was supposed to go, it was likely this direction.
I was going to make a joke at the expense of @Skallagrim and @Rilla, but I'm feeling nice today.
OH GOD THE SUSPENSE IS NIGHTMARISH
I can feel that storm brewing, the long posts with 'facts' and 'reasons.' Contesting the initial point, even though multiple solutions have been presented, and multiple arguments against it being an issue as well.

A Bad Moon is Rising.
@Skallagrim Me personally, I ain't questioning it. I know a few ways to take care of someone like that, and Shin's the kind of character I can do it with without it coming off as shitty metagaming.

I'm just stating a few facts about weak spots, because I'm a stickler for game design.
Remove the BS 'weakspot' shit that no one can exploit without meta-gaming.

@Vordak Weak Spots only work in three situations, and all three are high tiered:

Squishy regenerators who have a weakspot that is exposed either through damage or is a requirement for offensive abilities.
Example- The Devils from the MegaMan series of games.

Incredibly slow and tanky bruisers who have only one obvious and tremendously exposed weakness.
Example- The Colossi from Shadow of the Colossus.

Overall perfect characters with a Master-of-All-Trades sort of balance about them, with the source of their power being their weak spot.
Example- Meta-Ridley from Metroid. (Kind of.)
@Vordak To be entirely fair, I didn't write this into his sheet because it should be understood after 300 years of training. But Shin's greatest strength is his combat mastery, rather than his physical ability. His physical ability is the icing on the proverbial cake.

He's a combination of Batman and Bruce Lee, if both of them had 300 years to train.
Alright, I'm writing up my post. @ImportantNobody I'm also writing up an exit post, which I'll post after I put in my intro post.

Yeah, I should do it the other way around. But I've kept too many people waiting lately.
