Bio

"If you kill a man, you scorn his wife. If you kill his wife, you scorn her child. If you kill her child, you scorn his village. If you kill his village, you scorn the kingdom. If you kill the kingdom you scorn an empire. If you kill an empire, then who is left?"

MV time works a little different for me. Seconds may have passed for your characters, but days or even years might have passed for mine. Depending on context. Though it's not very long after that fight in this particular case. The fight with Melon and I ended and then Shin didn't have an excursion for two centuries.
@Divinity
Well god damn, Divinity. It's like you and I are far too like minded to be a coincidence.
@Doc Doctor
Through the haunting white corridors and grand chambers, Shin's shoes tapped in tune with a brisk pace. They echoed slightly but the hustle and bustle of the enormous rooms was more than enough to drown the sound, as well as the soft bodies that dampened it further. Despite having so much here, this place was virtually empty. It was like it was incomplete, something was missing. Obviously it had the necessities, but it simply lacked a certain feeling. He couldn't quite place it, and hated the fact that his mind wandered so much while he was here.

Why was he here?

Well, he was here to find weapons.

Weapons you say? Yes, weapons.

But why was he here to find weapons? Was the Black Staff not enough for him?

Evidently not. The first battle had been without the staff, and the second had been with. Both times, Magic was the deciding factor. Shin needed a new weapon, a weapon to compliment his Staff. A weapon that could best magic, and Shin wasn't in the mood to play around and look for some legendary weapon stuck in a stone. Or a sword thrown to him by some watery tart. Shin wanted to take someone else's weapon, lots of them. As many as he needed.

Why?

To find the perfect complement to his Staff.

As his pace increased from a brisk walk to a mild jog, Shin reached into his pocket and pulled out a long rolled up sheet of paper. Written in the universal tongue on its surface were some very important words. "Seeking challenger. Must have powerful weapon. Must be willing to lose weapon." For once, killing wasn't on his mind. Two times had he been humiliated by Magic, two times had he been defeated by Magic.

Shin never makes the same mistake twice, so this was very clearly some kind of crazy mixed up MISTAKE! A mistake that he would remedy post haste.

Once he reached the place of operations of a certain First-Degree Donny, Shin entered wordlessly. In a moment he was up to the counter, tapping his fingers slightly against the hardwood. "Mind if I post a poster?" He said with a calm and almost charming flair, like he was putting on a show. "It'll bring in fight business, if you need a reason to say yes."

I'm working on a new character entirely, but I'm not the GM I'm just the hype man. But it looks like Doc don't care what characters you use.

For now, Shin will be my medium through which I interact in this roleplay. At least until the time comes when that character sheet can actually be finished.

This is more than enough people to get this kickstarted. Once I finish writing my new character's sheet, we've got more than enough people. All we need is the character sheets and we can start this bitch up, come on folks.
You know, I've been thinking about how shitty it would be for a person to willfully stall out a roleplay because they're butthurt.

Like, wouldn't it be really shitty if someone had done that on the previous Multiverse RP?

Wouldn't it make that person the biggest asshole ever?

I don't know I'm a little tired and just mulling on past events.

@Doc Doctor
Alright, I've got a character. Vague description at best, but honestly stats don't matter at human tier. So let's say the two characters are vaguely the same level of ability and skill.
@Divinity
And now another decade of training and preparation. You've given Shin insight, and Shin never makes the same mistake twice. When the inevitable rematch occurs he'll be much more prepared.

Yeah the fight was fun, but next time we fight let's not get into a contest of magic physics. It makes everyone involved look dumb y'know.
Shin had bowed his head and that was the end of his response to her farewell, this time he had been defeated. For this moment he was filled with an unholy rage, but he kept it concealed. Even behind his mask he kept his face totally placid, no emotion showed. It was not until she had sailed off into the distance that he spoke.

"It will not be on good terms. Magic is my single weakness and it was exploited." In this moment he spoke of his own weakness, realizing his own shortcomings were not pleasant. It was not something one could readily train for, but Shin would find a way. Evading simply wasn't enough, and neither was his staff. It had been created as the ultimate weapon, but a single weapon was not enough.

As he muttered to himself he raised to his feet and walked over to his right hand. Now very greyed from the blood loos. "It will be on very poor terms."
@MelonHead
Note to self. Dunnaman is going to learn how to speak proper English before his next encounter with anyone. Writing like this is a fucking strain on my brain. It makes for creative writing and a thought exercise, but holy shit it's hard.
