I just see some basic measures. A fence makes sense and barbed wire isn't all that expensive.

Also, you seemed to find it completely normal that a textile factory had barbed wire fencing and guards with postings like a military compound. I just don’t feel like I actually know what’s going on at all.

The security guard and barbed wire don't really bother me. If they had serious patrols or any defenses we couldn't just walk through, then I'd be on the same page.
