DEFINITLY INTERESTED!

I'd opt for something like the old Fires of Anuria thread. Large scale battle on a single planet with some space engagements.

But I'd also be very much up for some good ol' high fantasy!
@Viciousmarrow You all making me incredibly anxious and that is NOT good for me! >.>
... Ellie stomping. No doubt... She can expect a thank you (and maybe an extra nicety... if she appears like she actually wants to ruin Eliana and not just a one time thing) I can't wait! :D
Now THIS is interesting. On one side I doubt she'll like the whole Gianna gang because of Gianna. Then again, Lucas isn't particularly poor. And there is the influence of Jenna... I wonder how Sylvia and Lucas' first interaction will go! But then there is Amelia. Who's probably even wealthier than Lucas (doesn't dress like it though). She'll dislike Sylvia for her bitchy attitude. She isn't really that much of a nerd or a dweeb but she's not really how Sylvia is.

Oh also, Lucas could hate her for the sole fact that her "power" over the school comes solely from the influence of her parents. If she even insults him he'll retaliate from the shadows! (And now I actually want to see that happen!)
<Snipped quote by LordZell>I am not sure involving demons and physical religions (gods are real and active) is good for the setting but exception makes the rule.
So long there won't be suddenly a paradigm shift towards people conjuring heavens and hell in an ultimate conflict I think it can still work.

Also if you are a cult supporting magic-based culture and perhaps even the old values, I guess you can find plenty supporters. And if your long term aim is to summon a powerful demon lord or something similar to dominate the world that can work, too. So long there isn't some mysterious prophecy about the chosen one or ancient sealing rituals and rather this demon lord would be an enemy which can be overcome with sheer strength if people work hard enough.

What about a cult spawned just from the believers of some very ancient sorcerer. Like back when magic was non-existent in some part of the country and suddenly this guy rolls in from a ship from far away and does this magical stuff. Many would start believing he's god sent. As time progresses his legends only get exaggerated and people invent new myths about him. Until: tada! You got a religion all about this one very powerful sorcerer. Now, one part of the magic would be that he consumes the life-power of people. So part of the religion is human sacrifice. In secret, he draws from this while in some sort of torpor. Getting ready to come back and rule supreme. Just a thought really, I'm not going to use this.
And with that post, I'm also leaving this RP. Goodbye everyone! I genuinely hope everyone here can enjoy it further!
Azaezel

Uninterrupted, Azaezel managed to finish his summoning. Multiple layers of magic rings collapsed downwards, until the final two became one and the entire circle glowed a bright, golden color. “Come forth! Lion of the heavens! I summon thee, Zodiac Leo!” Azaezel finished and from the glowing circle a figure formed, falling down. With every meter it dropped it grew in shape, until it almost hit the ground. Two still glowing wings unfurled themselves and the golden shape began to become physical. With burning wings and a mane of gold the Celestial flew over the battlefield. Until it found, at random, its prey. Landing in the middle of the big group of lesser demons it already crushed several under its legs. With a deafening roar the massive lion began its onslaught upon the demon horde. Fiery wings flapped away the demons trying to mount it, and the periodic lift off made sure that those who managed to crawl on its back swiftly fell to their death.

Azaezel, watching how his summon tore through the demon horde couldn’t help to crack a final smile. They had lost, sure, but his lion would claim the lives of many demons. Even if they came back, they would forever fear the painful dead he gave them. And with that, he was satisfied enough. He descended back to his troops. “We leave.” Was the only thing he said, before all shapes turned into pure light again. Pale pillars engulfed the forming orbs of bright golden light and lifted them up. The angelic mages had done what they could.
Okay so I got this rather silly idea I adopted from a book: With gunpowder and all that, what if mages adapt themselves?

I got this wicked idea of earth sorcerers now slowly learning concepts and ideas like magnetism and how to manipulate ores and such. Making them something I'd call Technomancers. Technomancers would be pilots of certain mecha's holding them together with the aid of magical crystals, magnetism but also tech like gears and such. (They'd also control steam to an extend)

Another idea I have as Gunpower mages. Basically fire mages that learned to draw power from gunpowder. Basic gunpowder mages could burn gunpowder to put force behind an object already propelled by gunpowder. AKA: they can make muskets more effective with far longer range. More advanced Gunpowder mages would be able to detonate gunpowder further away from them. Very good gunpowder mages would be able to control the trajectory of gunpowder fire objects using gunpowder (like changing the direction a little or putting more power behind it mid-flight). Still, with the obvious limits like: distance, force, personal ability and available gunpowder (For those who know, I got this idea from Promise of Blood).
I'm interested. But the system looks REALLY strict here. A cap on how much you can write? Seems a bit harsh. Still, I'll keep an eye on this.
@All Demon Characters

I just want to make something clear. What Azaezel is preparing right now will be the summoning circle of the Zodiac sign spirit Leo. The Celestial Lion. This nasty beast is both large (not, by far, as large as the fortress but still very considerable) and also VERY powerful. In other words, if released upon a horde of lesser demons with no Greater Demon support it will do a very considerable amount of damage and will continue to do so until it runs out of magic or is defeated. Again, considering the lack of Greater Demons on the surface I'd say the second option is unlikely to happen. I just wanted to make it clear that if left unchecked, Azaezel WILL have succeeded in destroying a large piece of the demonic forces.
