Warlord of Kereg-Kor, Husband of Xaelia@Ellion and Nadia@Vesuvius00 Interacting with: His brides
CONTENT WARNING: The following paragraph, placed within the hider, hints heavily towards certain sexual acts without consent. Reader's discretion is adviced.
Kieran though, was not dissuaded. “Oh but you beautiful Gems don’t need to eat, do you? You don’t want to become fat, right. No, no. I don’t like fat ones at all.” He said as he took a side step back towards the door and slowly closed it, after which he pulled a knife from the sheath on his back. Kieran was still dirty from the mud training. But that didn’t seem to bother him that much. With venomous eyes he dashed for Xaelia. Before she’d know what was happening, he’d have his fingers wrapped around her throat. He wasn’t choking her. Not yet. He pointed his knife towards Nadia and said: “If you scream. I will make you eat your delicious sister.” He licked Xaelia on her cheek. It wasn’t a tender gesture. It looked more like he was tasting the skin of spit-roasted pig. “And you, he said to Xaelia as he used his knife now to cut her clothes off again. “You better make me enjoy it. Oh and if it wasn’t clear yet, neither of you whisper even a word about this. Or you’ll learn what the definition of Wrath is.”
Keregar gathered his Gems an hour later. They were late sure, but it didn’t sound as if they’d made a problem of something. Xaelia though, she was dressed in different clothes. Maybe something happened to hers. He’d ask, but there were more important things to do. Outside Varzar was tending to the horses and Keregar had business with his youngest son. “You did what I asked.” Varzar couldn’t look his father in the eye. There was still as swirling mess inside of him. Like he wanted to puke, or attack his father, or stab himself. Any of those options felt like it would make him feel a better pain. Yet he tried to kept his calm, even though the aversion on his face was really clear. “Yes. I did.” But Keregar didn’t have enough. “What did you do?” With a fierceness that appeared increasingly more frequent Varzar turned to his father. He stared in the dark, demanding eyes of his father. But Keregar, the veteran warlord knew what he wanted to know. “I slapped her. You happy with that? I slapped one of your brides.” He said, before turning away again. Keregar released a grunt of approval.
“We move!” Keregar announced. His brides were ushed each on a horse. Though the saddle was made for Drakkan, not the delicate form of a Gem. They quickly reached the busy streets. But unlike some, Keregar would not seek refuge in the shaded, calmer alleys. No, he was a warlord and would act like it. In front of the horses a vanguard of five heavily armored Drakkan marched. Two of them were the twins. Gleefully pushing anyone out of the way who didn’t move fast enough. One person tried to make a problem out of it. As he yelled and complained, he was thrown to the side. Keregar barely looked at him. This was a common theme. Keregar didn’t care for the common plebs beneath his sight and his sons cared even less. A few Drakkan and other creatures trying to peddle their wares in the busy streets were knocked over our away. There was a certain tension in the air forming around them.
Upon reaching the main market, the whole caravan halted and everyone dismounted. The horses were tied to a post with two guards near them. “Varzar, Nadia, Xaelia. Here.” The Warlord beckoned the others. “My son. You did good.” He said as he handed him a pouch that had a very obvious, clear clinging inside of it. “Use it all.” He whispered to Varzar. Then he turned to his brides. “We are going to wander the market. If you see anything you want, clothes or jewels or whatever you like, you tell me.” With those words the slow crawl around the market began.
I'm probably joining with a very high-fantasy, high medieval, lightbound kingdom in the West. Think templars and knights, all sworn to a pantheon of 'light'-deities.
“And then I said: No, but a Vorcha might!” A group of Asari broke into a laughter, together with David who was enjoying themselves thoroughly. He had a drink in his hand, but with a lack of alcohol he was certain to maintain his composure. One of the several demands the Ambassador had made. Along with having to wear his armor and being armed. He tried to explain that a biotics practically always armed. But the man seemed to prefer bullets over biotics. Well, he was paying David enough. And he was allowed to mingle with the crowd. Which resulted in him entertaining a whole bunch of high ranking Asari. One of them being a stern Matriarch that still cracked a smile at his joke.
“So what have you been up to?” One Asari, Adena asked. “Ah, not that much. The Citadel is rather peaceful, as you might imagine.” He answered truthfully. It was certainly a more boring job than with the Company. But a scar on his chest was a stern reminder of why he left that life behind. “Safer though. Much safer. Nothing attacks the Citadel.” Many in the group nodded. Except for the Matriarch, who still remembered the time of the Reapers and how the Citadel got seized not once but twice. But then the speeches began and David apologized himself and moved to a more advantageous position. He had a slight overlook over the people as the Councilors moved to their podium.
Then a spectre chimed in on the security channel. Just like agreed, she appeared on his HUD. David took a moment to observe her file on his visor. A Turian soldier of some renown. Though she called herself a Spectre. Which was rumored but unverified. Well, maybe it was now. The next to call in was Alria Vicrinus, or Angel as she called herself. Another Turian. Most notably she has an extreme hatred for Cerberus. Now David had no sympathies for terrorists. But sometimes it felt like they made a point. Sometimes. Then, surprisingly, two Geth checked in. “Geth.. What a day.” There would be others checking in. It was protocol after all.
“David Fletchers, overlooking the crowd for now. ID 2596663.” He said through his com piece, making sure he’d be known to others. The last thing he wanted was confusion if something really did happen. Not that it would.
History: Some children are born into greatness. Mostly through influential parents and a life plan that is older than they are. They become great scientists, diplomates or glorious warriors. Sometimes though, destiny blesses an ordinary child on an ordinary world. Harya was never special. It wasn't the first human colony, nor one the furthest or the closest to earth. It doesn't have an overabundance of resources nor a true stunning natural beauty that cannot be found elsewhere. It was so insignificant that not even the Collectors thought about attacking it. In fact, the only moment the place was threatened was when the Reapers attacked and the evacuation happened swiftly.
On this seemingly calm, average planet a boy was born. David Fletchers. Born from two biotic parents, he too would have obvious biotic powers. But it went further than that. As a kid he was intrigued by the Collectors and the Protheans. Especially their history of biotics. When he was old enough, David went to Grissom Academy and participate in the Ascension Project. It was renewed after the Reaper War as its effectiveness was proven time and time again during said War.
He excelled in his biotic mastery and many other courses. Though he failed several technological classes. Never the less, he was a clear prodigy when it came to biotics. While maybe not a great leader, he was definitely a great fighter. This earned him a special right: to participate in the Thessia College Exchange Program (or TCEP). David, at age 19, travelled to Thessia and was utterly stunned by its beauty. He stayed there for a year, soaking up the Asari knowledge and culture.
Even though the Ascension project kept its civil side, it also carries its legacy from the Reaper War. When the students joined the war effort and created a makeshift company. With little real military training, the students turned soldiers proved to be very effective in combat. Especially as they rained black matter death upon the battlefield. After the war, the company became official and was named the 86th company. Which specialized in biotic warfare. After his graduation it just felt natural to enter this company.
The 86th was now often deployed on search & destroy missions in lawless space, on the fringe of Alliance space. Batarians slavers and pirates, despite their drop in population, began their slave trade once again some fifty years ago. As their previous generations did, they hid on asteroid bases or uncolonized planets. This meant that whoever chased them, had to adapt to a multitude of environments. The 86th brought a lethal combination of constant counter-guerrilla warfare and immense displays of power to destroy any hide-out found. It got so bad for the slavers that they hired Blood Pack mercenaries in an attempt to fight back against the 86th. The 86th and especially David’s squad wasn’t afraid at all. This lead to a rather unfortunate incident between David, a charging Krogan and a concrete wall.
Even though large parts of the mercenaries were neutralized, David had to rotate out with several broken ribs, a broken arm and a fractured femur. He did make a full recovery, yet opted not to rejoin the 86th. Instead he applied for C-Sec. Before he could join though, the Human Ambassador found him and his track record, especially the exchange program with Thessia intriguing to say the least. Quickly realizing the diplomatic advantage he could get from it, he appointed David to his personal security detail. Yet the shrewd man gave him plenty of time to maintain his close relationship with the many Asari from his College of Thessia days.
Personality: Smart, capable and somewhat charismatic, David feels at home amongst the higher echelons of society. Especially during his tenure at Thessia College he developed a refined sense of beauty. On top of that, his military service added a healthy respect for power. As well as a fair dose of discipline in his otherwise loosely controlled life. Unlike men who served, David does not feel odd or out of place amongst the Citadel’s diplomates. In fact, he will actively engage in political and cultural discussions. This, sadly, has made him quite snobbish. David certainly feels that, in an social setting, he is better than most of C-Sec. Though that sense of superiority quickly vanishes when battle erupts. In combat only power matters and this he knows.
When ready to fight, David is quite different from his social self. He’s quiet and waits for his orders. Barely questions them and will do everything to fulfill the order. His loyalty and ability cannot be questioned here. Though he won’t often show initiative beyond his given orders.

Still a bit of a WIP. I want to expand the personality section.
Uthum had never ventured far from the desert. A strange anxiousness kept him there. A desire to see how these Fae would evolve the usage of mana. They did not disappoint. The original warriors quickly spread the their ‘knowledge’ and belief. Many spears and wicker shields were carved. At night you could see the gentle, blue light of the converging mana being channeled through a primal war or a bright flash of a bolt thrown. Above all else, there have been no accidents yet. Nothing instilled more fear than an accident. And fear was the start of rejection. With somewhat renewed hope, some Fae families began their long march through the blazing desert. Having faith that they would find land beyond it.
Uthum had observed the Fae for a long time and even warded them from the greatest of perils. Though he was sad no new runes were brought into effect. Not for a lack of trying. Some Fae had spent night and day drawing figures in the sand. Intrigued he had watched from afar. But their faith was brittle and shortcoming. Someday a great enough leader would convince the others of another glyph maybe. But Uthum got a little impatient.
He spotted a family, a simple one, that tried to cross the desert. From the markings on his shield, Uthum saw that the father had experimented with the glyphs. The children were yet young and changeable without causing too much trauma. As for the adults, well they’d survive with a memory of pain maybe. But it was a sacrifice he was willing to make.
The Oedon family were never ones to sit by until something happened. They had fought in the war, saw their heroes and leaders die and were one of the first to have discovered the oasis. Now they once again marched forth. Hoping to find a new future. Keitan was the eldest and the leader of the family. With boltspear and wardshield he vowed to protect his little group of people. Between him and his beautiful wife Aia, they had willed no less than five children into this world. All strong and healthy. Just like her husband, she walked armed and ready to fight against whatever foulness would attack them. So when they saw a strange figure approach them from beyond the distant dunes, they were very alert.
The creature was not of this place, that they both knew. Immediately the children hid behind their parents. Two wards formed before the shields. Then joined as one. The creature, dressed in strange robes and with mystical looking halo behind him, merely waved. “What an interesting development!” he yelled. But why? “You can join your wards? It must be because of your unity. Ah, wonderful! At least there is a bit of deviance!” The creature shouted from afar. Both Keitan and Aia deemed him quite mad. No words needed to be spoken. Keitan prepared his boltspear and released its energy. But the creature, instead of going down, merely deflected the bolt. “Oh, that one felt a lot sharper.” The creature shrugged off. Aia threw another but once again the creature deflected it. He now stood before the ward. Both adults felt rather safe behind it. But kept their wits and voice to themselves.
“I will need you to lower this.” The creature said in an overly friendly tone. But he was no friend. Not one they recognized at least. “Very well.” With the touch of a single, clawed finger the ward, first an ever swirling vortex froze in place and shattered like ice. Keitan and Aia both took a step back. Surprised but ready to fight. Uthum though, was less than impressed. Instead he just reached out with his mind, through the mana and forced the family into a joined consciousness.
They all floated in an infinite blackness, with in the distance a sun burning and illuminating only them. A place formed from a half forgotten memory. “We can talk more freely here. In fact, we can show our thoughts so much clearer. To prove his point, Uthum conjured up the memory of him gifting the first two glyphs. Below them sand appeared. Upon it the warriors, practicing their magic. “I am Uthum, God of Magic. I have given your kin a minor gift before.” The aura’s around the Fae changed from cautious to happy in an instant. They knew they could believe him, somehow.
“I am Keitan of Oedon. This is my wife Aia and our children, Histvich, Atron and Mordrem. We are in search for a new land. A safe land against our corrupted kin. A place where we can live once more.” The Fae father introduced himself with great pride.
“Well met, Keitan of Oedon. I have observed you and your family for some time now. You have mastered the primal war and bolt very quickly indeed. I wish I could talk for longer. But there are tasks to be carried out and no time to spare. Keitan of Oedon. Aia of Oedon. I will bless and make you mine. Not divine, but a power more free will course through you. Be part of you. In return, you will except your tasks and duties I give you.”
The family knew they could refuse the gift. Uthum was not a scornful god. But never the less they all had a great sense of ambition. Despite the loss of so many great leaders in the war. They all bowed in sight of the distant, imagined sun. “Then let us begin.”
When the Fae awake, their bodies had changed. Thick blue lines coursed through them like arteries. It pulsed faintly with every thought they had. For a moment they merely observed their own and eachothers enhanced form and the unique markings on each of them. Then Uthum spoke once more. “Mana is now part of you. It will adhere to your instincts, your wishes, your very thoughts. I name you the Cult of Oedon and now I give you your first task. Return to your kin and guide them. Teach them while your own powers grow. Make them shape the world around them through the glyphs you will discover for them. I must leave now. I grow weary and must rust. But do not tally. I may return soon.”

Warlord of Kereg-Kor, Husband of Xaelia@Ellion and Nadia@Vesuvius00 Interacting with: His brides
Varzar hated himself as he watched the hand that slapped Nadia as if it wasn’t even his own. But it was. It was his action and now he did it, he felt disgusted. Not by the act alone. Which had appalled him even before he hit Nadia’s skin. No, it was the temporary rush. The horrible power he felt. It was the realization of power. How he could just slap someone with barely a consequence and how good it felt.
The guilt that came afterward hit him hard. Like a hand gripped his heart and tried to crush it. He walked backward, trying to get some distance form Nadia as Xaelia came rushing to her side. Though not fast enough as Xaelia’s berries stained his tunic. Not that he cared. Not right now he just wanted to hug Nadia and tell her he’s sorry. But he couldn’t. Not with the promise his father made.
Xaelia’s following rant fell on mostly hollow ears. Varzar was utterly zoned out, redrawn into his own thoughts. Everything sounded and even looked so unimportant. Everything except for Nadia’s red-hot cheek. But Xaelia’s rant continued and words finally broke through. ‘leave’. Should he leave? He wanted to. Right now he just wanted to vanish in thin air. But Nadia’s intervention just made it worse. His mother… she was crying. She was frantically trying to understand what he did. But how could she!? She was a Gem and he a Drakkan. This would be how it would always go. Then the egg hit him. Somehow pulling him out of his dazed state. The next egg he caught in his hands. For a moment fury overtook him.
“Would you stop it!” He yelled at Xaelia. A blazing fire ignited in his eyes as he crushed the egg in his hand. But as soon as it appeared, it vanished again. “I-I… did what I had to.” His words were comforting himself a whole lot more probably. “I’m sorry… You just wore the wrong clothes and… and you have to learn.” He seemed to tell himself that more than Nadia. Heart-wrenching guilt overtook him. What could he do now? Even if he came closer they’d never trust him. But at least he upheld his end of the deal. Never the less he couldn’t stand the sight of them anymore. It made him remember what he just did. It made him sick. So he did what his dad always did. “You eat. I-I have something to do.” He said before vanishing into some small side door. Down a dark hall he went, then a damp staircase into the cellar. It was filled with cobwebs older than he was and spiders as big as his hand. Maybe he was too young. But he didn’t care. The heart retching feeling didn’t go away. So he grabbed some dusty bottle, its label literally faded away, and cracked it open.
Upstairs, in the kitchen, the Gems were given just a few moments of respite when the door to the kitchen opened. In came Kieran. “What… do we have here.” He said a little too excited. He licked his lips at the sight of Nadia as if he was smelling the most delicious piece of meat in the entire world. “All alone? Did little brother run off? No… don’t tell me. Let’s not ruin the fun…” He then saw Xaelia. Who looked red with anger. “Oh my… maybe he scorned you. Were you jealous when he preferred the gentle Gem?” he teased her. Moving towards her. “No worries. I can make you feel better.”
