Demon Summoning Program - A special kind of programming code that duplicates a summoning ritual.

Osamu is skilled in Negotiation, Superscience and, since meeting Naoki for the second time, Sorcery. He is also an expert in making Magitech Weapons. To compensate for this, though, Osamu lacks any fighting ability whatsoever, and has to rely in Horus for battle.

Horus' Stats

Weaknesses:

Flunky Dependence - Osamu, as mentioned, lacks fighting ability and overrelies on Tech, Magic, and Horus for battle. He also is reluctant to face his opponents head-on, because he knews they can beat him easily. Rather, he's a good-guy version of that person who sends out constant waves of minions/subordinates at you until you get to their lair and stomp them.

Preperation Requirement - Osamu needs time in order to prepare any game-winning gadget or magical ritual, as well as protection from anyone who might sneak up on him, as interrupting his gadget-building/magical ritual would make said processes useless.

Bio: The son of Ryo Akiyama and Ruki Makino/Rika Nonaka, Osamu was a genius like his unfortunate namesake in another universe. Interested in the 'Digital World' that his parents would tell him stories about, Osamu would begin doing research on how to link the two dimensions back together from a very young age, although he saved time to play with his friends, Rai Matsuki/Matsuda and Lucy Lee/Wong, who, unlike him, disbelieved in their parents' stories of the Digital World. Finally, at the age of 10, Osamu Akiyama discovered, with help from the organization HYPNOS, the secret to interdimensional travel...and that was when things went wrong, for Osamu didn't find a way back to the Digital World.

Rather, he found a Tokyo riven by an apocalypse, where creatures similar to Digimon, called 'Demons', roamed the ruins of this once-great city. In this world, the only hero was a person called the 'Demi-Fiend', a human with the powers of a Demon and the ability to call them to his side. And the opening of the gate between his world and 'Ruined Tokyo' was a surprise to both Osamu and the Demi-Fiend, as well as HYPNOS, who tried to close the gate, but too late - the Demons of the Shin Megami Tensei universe were preparing to invade!

Realizing the threat, Osamu Akiyama allied with the Demi-Fiend, repurposing Hypnos' former weapons (intended against Rogue Digimon) in order to combat Demons, and the Demi-Fiend was able to return his version of Tokyo to normal.

But Osamu was frightened now; who knows what horrors lurked in the Multiverse? He also knew this, though; that only Digimon can give his world an edge against other Universes. And so, he tried again, and this time, succeeded in reunifying his parents, as well as Rai and Lucy's, with their old Digimon Partners. But...there was another disappointment; even though the Digital World was open, no Digimon would choose to be partners with him.

So, the boy, 13 now, resumed his dimensional research, trying to find out why he can't have a Digimon Partner. And, cautiously, this time, Osamu opened a portal to another universe...the Pokemon one. It was a wonderful place, although the hobby of 'Pokemon Battling' distubed him. Nevertheless, it was time to seek out allies. He found them in three people, one of them an idiot of the lowest caliber - Ash Ketchum/Satoshi.

Making his own journey, Osamu found that while he can make friends with Pokemon, he lacked the gift of making a lasting partnership with them, meaning that he had to rely on his technology to defend himself from Wild Pokemon attacks and Team Rocket. Finally, however, he found the allies he needed; the Pokemon League itself. After signing a treaty between them and HYPNOS, Osamu went back to his own world...and found the Demi-fiend waiting for him there.

Once the shock faded from Osamu's face, the Demi-Fiend, introducing himself as Naoki Kashima, then handed the boy a 'Demon Summoning Program', as well as a contract with Demon of his own, Horus*. After some more surprise, Osamu asked Horus what he thought of the transfer of contractors, and after the Demon replied that he had no objections to it, the boy accepted the program, contract, and his new partner with open arms...

I. Intro

Intro

A long time ago, there were two kinds of being, Humans and Demons, supernatural beings created from the power of human worship and desire. These two races spread across multiple worlds, engulfing them in endless conflict over ideals of law and chaos, light, dark, and grey. But some humans sought a way out of this struggle, and in multiple worlds and timelines, created entities that were derived from Demons, but not the same. These are the origins of Pokemon and Digimon, whose lesser, but still-great, struggles would go unnoticed by the Demons and the Humans who still lived with them.

Until one day, in one universe, Nanashi, a being given the powers of 'Godslaying' by the Demon Dagda, observed the state of the Multiverse, ruled over by the mad God of Law, YHVH, and opposed by Lucifer, the capricious and untrustworthy Fallen Angel of Chaos, as well as the Polytheistic Alliance, guided by Krishna, Odin, and Maitreya, who seek to subjugate humanity in their own way. Nanashi, encouraged by Dagda, decided to kill all three factions, but ran into the problem that as YHVH was born from the innate human need for law and order, and will regenerate from human emotions if defeated, he can only be permanently killed if all humans who can potentially worship him, aka every man, woman, and child that lives, are destroyed in turn.

Needless to say, in one universe, Nanashi took that decision. Killing the version of YHVH in his world and seating himself atop the Creator God's throne to take his place, the 'Godslayer' gathered his two formerly human servants, Flynn, a once-hero of Humanity ressurected and brainwashed to serve Nanashi, and the Artificial Goddess, one of Nanashi's former companions forced into the role of consort and mother of a new Human race. Together, they would create an army of Demons and 'new men' who would eradicate all of YHVH's potential followers all across the Multiverse, cleansing them of life in order to ensure that once Humanity was created anew, they would know no authority to rule them.

And he would not overlook the worlds that weren't inhabited by Demons, but by Pokemon and Digimon. He would kill everything there, as well, so as to liberate the Multiverse from YHVH's existence...

II. The Mon Alliance and Types of 'Mon'

The Mon Alliance

However, this genocidal - no, omnicidal - agenda would not go unopposed. When Nanashi's armies struck several universes at once, a being known as the Demi-Fiend, a human who had been given demonic powers, went to the worlds of Pokemon and Digimon in order to arrange an alliance between each sector of the Multiverse. Receiving a reasonable answer, the Demi-Fiend, introducing himself as Naoki Kashima, would meet with three others, Red, the Pokemon Champion, and Taichi Yagami, the greatest of all Chosen Children/Digidestined, and Aigis, a humanoid robot from the Persona sub-section of the Shin Megami Tensei universe. And together, they would form the Mon Alliance, and its armed branch, the Host of Balance.

Here are the types of 'Mon' (Digimon, Pokemon, Demons, and Personas, a subtype of Demons):

Digimon

'Digital Monsters' made up of computer data given form by human emotions, Digimon are very close to Demons in power, and can sometimes even exceed them, but are friendlier to Humans than their ancestors. They live in various 'Digital Worlds' that coexist with each version of Earth in the Multiverse...

Pokemon

'Pocket Monsters' descended from the fusion of Demons and Animals, Pokemon are the easiest to 'train' and 'domesticate', meaning that they can be fielded in much greater numbers than Digimon, Demons, and Personas/Personae. To balance this nunbers advantage, they are weaker than Demons, Personae, and Digimon.

Demons

The original race of monsters, Demons are born from human emotions and concepts, with the most powerful of them being called 'Gods'. Demons, when unleashed into an unsuspecting Earth, are fond of waging epic conflicts about Law, Chaos, and Neutrality, with some preying on Humans for food and spiritual energy, while others are relatively friendly to people. They can be 'contracted' by 'Demon Summoners', the original Trainers/Tamers/Chosen through bribery, persuasion, or Human-to-Demon combat. Note however that once the contract ends, the Demon can choose to turn against their 'employers'...

Personas/Personae

A subtype of Demon originating in the 'Collective Unconcious', individual Personas/Personae are born directly from the minds of human beings, and are less their own being, and more a distinct part of the psyche. This gives them a direct bond with people that allows them to be instantly powered by their wielder's emotions...

III.Rules

Rules

1.) No godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, etc. etc.
2.) No getting raunchy with OCs under 18, please. With OCs above 18, just be careful not to do anything above non-descriptive nudity.
3.) No OOC feuding! If you must argue, be respectful. IC, meanwhile, you can hate each other as much as you like as long as it doesn't seep over to OOC.
4.) Please notify me if you will be gone longer than a few days, I myself will let you guys know if I will be gone.
5.) Only one Digimon per Tamer/Digidestined, six Pokemon per trainer, and two Demons per fight for each Demon Summoner, but the latter can have five more in reserve.
6.) Persona Users are allowed too; they can use one Persona per fight, but keep five more in reserve.

Team of Mons: (Digimon Tamers/Digidestined only have 1 Digimon (which would be capable of Digvolution to Mega level), Pokemon Trainers can have 6 Pokemon (and their own version of Mega Evolutions), and Demon Summoners can use 2 Demons per fight, but keep 5 more in reserve, aka not used in a fight.

Short Bio: Gavin Prince was the son of an artisan metalworker and sculptor who alternated between making ceremonial swords for rich people, practical swords for martial artists, and abstract art for museums and rich collectors. Sent to college to study fine arts, Gavin found himself attracted to history, literature...and both men and women. Nevertheless, he continued to persevere studying art and other subjects by day, working with his hands with his father by night. Despite said father tending to be...reserved on matters of sex and the body, his sole reaction to Gavin 'coming out' as bisexual was:

"Just get someone who can work with their hands."

And that was that. One day, on the eve of 2012, while 'celebrating' the new years' with his current boyfriend, Gavin fell asleep, drunk. He would then receive a vision of a beautiful, winged woman in white robes, with brown skin and black hair and deep blue eyes. She would then look at Gavin, and say:

"The World is about to be worse. Stop it." Power, exhilirating energy, would then enter Gavin, and he knew this, that this would be part of him, power that can be used to save people, both those with Magic and those without. He would then pick a school, and select two: High and Timespace, and increase his power in them because he only chose two schools out of six. And with that, he would drift back to sleep...

When he woke up, he was sober and without a hangover, and he knew what to do. Some hours later, he would apply for 'leave' from his university while informing his father that he would be going on a trip to study medieval armor-making techniques in Britain; this was a lie.

The truth was that he was going to go to the town of Brightwell, Illinois, where he would then send messages to people that, he knew, had been visited by the Malakim...

Skills/Flaws:

Metalworker - Gavin knows how to shape metal, and otherwise work with his hands. This also makes him a dab hand at power tools.

Swordsman - Gavin knows the basics of swordsmanship.

Guileless - Gavin is too honest and trusting for his own good.

Inexperienced - Gavin is new to this whole 'saving the world' business.

Spell List:

Eye of the Monarch (High Magic) - Gavin can see all Magic, whether it is being cast, or a passive effect. This also works on illusions.

Bolt of Prime (High Magic) - Gavin can send out a bolt of silvery-white energy that can inflict damage which cannot be healed by magic.

Dispel Timespace Magic (High Magic) - Gavin can dispel any magic that uses Timespace, including scrying spells.

Dispel Mind Magic (High Magic) - Gavin can now dispel any magic that uses Mind, including probing spells.

Archives of Time and Space (Timespace) - Gavin can look at a reflective surface, and see visions of the past, present, and future.

Flight (Timespace) - Gavin can use his control of the fabric of space to fly up into the air without World Magic.

Gate (Timespace) - Gavin can open a portal as small as his fist or as large as an SUV and keep it open for at least 15 minutes. Said portal can lead to any place whose picture he had seen.

Absorb Knowledge (Mind) - Gavin can absorb knowledge from his senses, both supernatural and normal, and process it faster than a normal human mind could.

Gavin's Cantrips (a few examples, anyway):

1.) Create Light - Gavin can conjure small glowing lights.

2.) Exposition Screen - Gavin can use Raw Mana (High) and Timespace to create a screen that shows things he has already seen before.
