Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

Shamir shook Alex's hand, and said, "Thanks; sorry for, well, bothering you with this. I can be dense sometimes. So, let's be friends, then; that's great! Sorry for the exclamation mark; I hope I didn't bother the librarians."

He then sits down on a nearby stool and smiles. "Anyway, this place is really grand; just like a palace, only one of learning. I really hope to learn how to heal and protect here; that's the specialty I plan to take, healing and protection magic." The young man then looks around at what other students were there, before continuing, "People are really awestruck, it seems. I can't blame them, as I said before, this place is like a palace of learning." A pause, then, to allow Alexander to process Shamir's words and maybe even reply.

"Uh....sorry for being a chatterbox," Shamir said. "I just tend to be like that sometimes. So, how are you? And, yeah, I do trust you; you are a fellow royal." Shamir decided not to bring up the real source of Tyrania's infamy, aka its preperations for widespread conquest. Necromancy...well, like all right-thinking people, Shamir distrusted it, maybe even hated it, but he couldn't fault Tyrania for using that practice; it was a would-be conquering empire, after all. So any distaste for that was blended in with Tyrania's conquering ambitions.

@Legion02, Will post in a few hours.
@Conscripts, To be honest, I myself am not sure how smart Shamir is in combat, and I don't really know if I should have him fight anyone at all. Right now, he's shaping up as a 'talker', if that makes any sense.
Posted; sorry for not mentioning @Spirit and @Legion02...
Shamir observed the Arcanium's halls, awestruck. So many things to do and to learn and even just to react to. Of course, most of said reactions are just dumbstruck shock and admiration that a place so beautiful can exist.

Keep yourself together, Shamir, he thought, Now, try to analyze what sort of knowledge you need. Healing and Protection, right? You might also want to learn military tactics and administration. Just because you were usurped does not mean that you have to stop your regular studies.

He then noticed Alexander of Tyrania; being a Royal himself, he had been well-schooled in the identities of foriegn Kings and Princes, even those of far lands. The young man knew what Tyrania was, and while that kingdom had a reputation for aiding coups and installing client leaders, Shamir vaguely remembered that his own country was far enough that its own coup was probably not aided by foriengers. Probably. Nevertheless, this was an opportunity in the making, a political opportunity. Plus, the other Prince seemed like a decent guy, if the vague rumors were right.

Walking towards Alex, Shamir would say, "Hello, umm, Your Highness? My name is Prince Shamir of Abazin, recently usurped from his place and position by an unlawful coup. I have come to this place to learn Magic, but I also know of the 'fame' of your own nation, and while I have a personal...fear of it and what it might do, realpolitik demands that I swallow personal qualms and seek out its aid."

A slight bow. "Basically, I want to talk thrones and their regaining; if you or your father can support me on my bid to become Sultan of Abazin, I will be happy to grant trade privileges and troops for future endaevors." Then, feeling ashamed of himself, Shamir would say, "or, you know, we can just become friends..."
@Legion02, I hope you don't mind if Shamir approaches Alex to ask if the latter's father, though a tyrant, can help him retake his father's kingdom...
@Spirit, Actually, a question; is Shamir too weak, magic-wise?
Will post soon.
@Legion02, your CS is awesome. Want Shamir and Alex to be friends?
