Current Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

@The Man Emperor, Can you put the picture under Appearance? As it is right now, the 'Apperance:' field is to the left of the picture, not above.

Also, approval one is given, but only for your backstory and lore, not for anything else.
@Polybius, as I said in PMs, my joining still depends on whether I am accepted to another RP I applied for or if an RP I am running picks up the pace...
@Letter BeeThe British aren't fans of anyone who wants to horn in on their state monopoly of monies so don't expect a lukewarm reception from us. Please also assume British hostility to your given your ship building program since the Mediterranean, and indeed all the worlds oceans, are considered ours.

There's a reason I'm seeking a European patron, plus the French policy is to guarantee Egypt and the Ottoman Empire's territorial integrity.

Just make sure the hostility is purely IC; it's hard to tell tone over on the Internet.
France's commitments to the Middle East is that the territorial integrity of the Ottoman Empire and Egypt should be respected

I can accept that; I'll edit my future submission to check Muhammad Ali's ambitions to take apart the Ottoman Empire, then.
@Polybius, can I be a Fighter with one Priest Spell which makes him a Paladin?
Question: Is it acceptable to ask for a preset relationship in this OOC Channel? I might decide to play Egypt after all, but I need one or two European patrons who are willing to tolerate Muhammad Ali's Egyptian Nationalism in exchange for relatively cheap Cotton and other goods...

Made a minor edit.
@SirStriker, Lore and backstory approved. Our Vietnamese OCs might know your guy's reputation.

Fair warning, though; as long as your guy is retired, he'll be given a prototype 'Limiter Bracer' (which uses Occult Programming Language similarly to the Paragons' own efforts) which lowers the rank of his Noble Arm to B or even C when worn and activated.

This is only for Civilian Life.
@The Man Emperor, wishing you luck!
Name: Ken Illustrious Ikari

Appearance:

Age: 14

Bio: Born two years after Gendo Ikari's 'Additional Impact' was foiled, Ken was lavished with the attention and care that his father didn't have in his youth, though his mother was careful not to allow him to be spoiled. Precocious, intelligent, and also with a natural grasp of how to make friends with other kids, and impress adults with his knowledge, Ken was fascinated by history, including how his father had saved Humanity from an apocalypse through the sheer act of owning up to his mistakes and growing up; this also taught him to be honest with himself despite every temptation not to be, despite every temptation to avoid blame for any fault he committed.

His life was normal, albeit with frequent trips to the Hakone countryside which surrounded his home village. He and his father's ex-boyfriend, Kaworu Nagisa, were friends with a shared interest in classical music, while Asuka Langley Shinkinami, his father's ex-girlfriend, was his self-defense teacher. After all, there were people who resented his father instead of respecting him, and they might try and target his son - He was sure there were attempts but he wasn't allowed to know about those.

One day, he and several other children and adults went camping out in the summer night; a few days passed without incident. Then, one day, as they were waking up for the sunrise, the sky turned red and he saw fear in his father's eyes.

A second later, the camp was engulfed in a flash of light, and it was early morning, on the same hill, but something felt different, as though the air smelt of blood. Then, the sound of artillery can be heard close to the coast - And Ken saw his first Angel (Kaworu doesn't count as he lost his powers!).

Sachiel was advancing towards a city he knew instinctively was Tokyo-3, and the JSSDF were firing everything they had at him. His life had changed forever.

Mundane Skills: Ken is good at history, English Literature, English in general, and Japanese Calligraphy, and can ride a motorcycle and shoot airsoft guns. His mother also taught him how an Anti-L Barrier/Anti-L System worked and even taught him how to recreate the blueprints from memory. He is also a fan of mundane, non-organic Mechs.

Personality: Ken is a 'Papa's Boy' who adores his father, though not to any excessive level. He tries to look calm, collected, and cool all the time, consciously portraying himself as a determined, brave and smart kid which his father's past self was not (his perspective only). This attitude can sometimes cross the line to arrogance, especially as he believes he can 'save' the Parallel version of his father in this universe and bring a happy ending to it as well.

He does not realize that he was merely lucky; that if his upbringing had been different, he'd be falling to despair immediately and that there is still time for him to plummet off the metaphorical cliff...
