Personality: A young soul uncertain of his place in creation. An honest, earnest cinnamon roll who loves his family despite that. A curious kid who wants his father to be happy, but also wants his own happiness, in whatever form that took. However, there is an aspect of him who is afraid that the world would take his father away from him, and whatever friends he makes, too, and he is well aware that comfort and peace are luxuries, especially in this world. But deep inside is pain, pain and sadness from being born the way he is, from the pitying looks from those who know his origins. At the end of the day, Daniel wants to love and be loved, and eventually, protect his father as his father protects him.

Background: Daniel was born in luxury that he didn't fit in, in privilege that left him isolated. He was raised among grandparents and a 'brother', a brother he admired greatly as he grew up due to his intelligence, kindness, and athleticism. He wanted to be like him from an early age, and he sought to train himself to be like that.

But as he grew up, he learned about the whispers, whispers that he was a bastard; the polite term was 'illegitimate'. He tried to ignore those, focusing on his studies and the friends who liked him despite the rumors, and sorting out the problems of childhood and puberty. He found some happiness, he had good grades in school, and eventually, his studious and kind nature won him the esteem of his teachers and a few of his classmates - Even then, he knew this much took effort to win; he cannot take this for granted.

Then two years ago, at twelve, Daniel found out that his 'brother' was in fact his father, while his mother was... missing. By then, the boy knew better than to be too open, even to his close friends. As for his father, Deuel Palaiologos, he didn't know what to feel. Should he feel betrayed? Should he whine, yell, or accuse? Or should he let go?

It didn't help that he was discovering... feelings for both boys and girls, confusing his thoughts. It was a wonder that he managed to retain friends; his scores at school certainly suffered and he had to take the dreaded (to him) make-up exams. But by then, tested in a social crucible that made him tough but brittle, yet also taught him just who he can count on, the growing young man learned the meaing of courage. Eventually, he accepted this; that his father was still the person he knew from back then.

Time passed and he was now fourteen; his father decided to take him to Washington D.C. one day; there may be more information on his mother...

Other Information: Daniel comes from a rich family that claims descent from the Palaiologos Dynasty of Byzantine Emperors.

Sorry for the delay; just got busy for the past few days, but am willing to make an OC soon.

Mikazuki Nakajima

As Bakuto realized the error the ad-hoc trio had succumed to, Mikazuki nodded, and said, "I have healing ready for when you need it - Just give me a signal!"

It seems I misjudged Bakuto, thought the young man as he watched, waited, and focused, watching his friend as he leapt into the fray. This isn't foolishness, and even if it is, it's better than doing nothing!

In coordination with Tony, Mikazuki rushed into battle, ready to defend Bakuto with his parries and counterattacks, pull him out of the fray if that was needed, and heal him. He was not going to let his misjudgement cause his friend's death - It mattered not if he died early instead; right now, he knew what he was here for.

And it was not to be selfish; not to believe that he was the only one who can take on his Grandfather's crimes.

So Mikazuki dove into battle, but kept a reserve of strength for when the foe took advantage of their belated onslaught; he knew they were going to take advantage of the delay - So be it; he was done playing around. But he was not going to give up his caution either; Tony may need help.

So rushing over to the other youth's side, Mikazuki drew his sword and parried the next attack that came his' or Bakuto's way (assuming he could), then proceeded to counter immediately with a cut at whoever struck at his friends (if his parry had been successful).

He then began circulating healing energy through his body, before shouting at the Hollows as he held out his sword to parry and counter, "I still have to know them, bastards! I don't know how to know people well, but I want to know my teammates!"

After all, this battle may be his last chance.
