Sorry about my lack of appearances. At this point Im taking a much needed hiatus from here after 5 long years. Not sure when I'll be back, but it won't be for awhile... sorry about that... : (

Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*

So will humans actually get a chance to do things prior to giant robots? Or are they expected to just act as set props/victims/distant screaming until then?

Definitely the humans will have something to do in the first arc. Granted it could be slightly limited compared to the titans, however they will have their little thing none the less.

More info regarding Arc 1 will be revealed later this week - hopefully tomorrow at the latest.

Can I create a scientist character who wants to build giant robots? Should I expect another character to eclipse my character who's already had a giant robot for like months already but for some reason hasn't revealed it despite giant monsters attacking his/her country? Sorry if this sounds confrontational; I've had bad experiences in the past.

No worries man, I understand. As far as I know, other then the alien "mech" that had plopped down, no humans seem to wield a mech atm. I did say I didn't mind maybe one or two for the humans, but I prefer it was to be built for an alternate purpose (secret weapon) only to be thrown in as an anti-monster weapon as soon as all things went loose. Only after Arc 1 can the whole mech thing be more wide-spread.
@Archangel89

*Sartravius wants to know your location*
An analogue to Ultraman- a large, benevolent humanoid alien who may have had interaction with humanity in the past.

Edit: The other concept being a Hedorah deal where it’s a creature that feeds on pollutants, but it actively purifies the land/air/water/whathaveyou by its mere presence

I figured that was where you're going with. That should be fine as well.

The Anti-Hedorah could also be interesting too.
Well, I'm kind of considering an Ultra analogue, but I'm torn between Hyperion and Prometheus.

Define "Ultra analogue"?
@Metatrooper A golem-mech eh? Can't say I've seen too many of those. Looks good though! Approved.
After some deliberation, I would like to give it a shot. What’s the opinion on mix-and-match monsters or alien origin? The former is more combined appearance like a griffin or chimera.

Alien origin monsters are fine, however try not to make them too recent in origin. Mix-and-match seem fine to me - just show me what you got.

UPDATE: Wanted to put the OCC up this weekend, but boi did life crush me hard. Hopefully this week (maybe Friday or Saturday) I should be situated and ready to go with this RP. In the mean time, Ill post more monsters and characters to stall you off in the week.
@KingOfTheSkies Yet another excellent addition! I have no problems with Moho.

@Lmpkio hey, I know you said not to use mecha as much in the first arc but how about a rock golem-type of creature instead? Is that fine?

Golems are fine - go for it :)

So no hivemind beasts for now? Just for the record, I had an idea to make a hivemind horde that focuses on scavenging and consuming corpses of other beasts to evolve and take their traits.
Havent seen too many benevolent beasts...might take that niche.

I am assuming the technology level for humans are more or less the same as present day, right? At least in arc 1?

I've allowed only one user here to creative a hivemind beast, and that's simply because one wouldn't be truly bad. Just once there's more it gets all over the place. For now, save for the person I allowed, keep off those. Still I like your idea.

Yeah technology is around present day - with TERRA having access to slightly more advanced forms of technology.
Boy that sure is Emrakul.

Here is my design for my Creature. What I'm conceptualizing is a psychic stealth-predator that can forcibly implant and mutate other organisms into smaller replicas of itself or more specialized monsters, which it keeps under telepathic control. So like a slow and secret corruption/infection meant to gradually subsume the native lifeforms.

So basically... you want to make a Tyranid beast?

*Shudders in heresy*

Hmmmm... as for making smaller beasts, I believe @ShwiggityShwah has a similar concept in mind (in terms regarding a hivemind to a bunch of smaller creatures). Would rather not have another one of these kinds of beasts for now, but still show me the full thing and I'll see if it can be managed in or not. Again, this guy seems better suited for future arcs.

(You might wanna prepare another monster concept btw just in case this one isn't accepted)
