Ysran will likely just get a new spell. How about Tasha's Hideous Laughter? Or maybe the Fear spell? What do you think I should get?

Full name: Lance D'Phiarlin

Age: 34

Height: 6'3

Skills: Lance is a master Tactician and fighter. Keenly aware of his surroundings he is able to get an advantage almost anywhere on the battlefield. Not only this, but he is incredibly social, and is able to talk to others easily. That doesn't mean he's great at it however.

Appearance:
(Pretend he's a human, couldn't find a good human picture.)
Usually wearing a tunic, Lance blends into the crowd, but when it's time for battle, Lance wears scalemail covered by a central breastplate. His weapon of choice ironically enough is a lance, yet he is trained with most other weapons.

Equipment: His armor, his lance, as well as a sword and shield. He also keeps a dagger in his boot. He has a pack full of other generic traveling stuff. Like food.(Think jerky, and dried fruit.) And water. And flint.

Religious beliefs: Lance believes in a strong sword arm rather than some so-called god. But if forced to choose, he likely would follow manduism

Personality: Lance tries to be a nice guy, although he can be a little agressive.

History: Lance comes from the country of Ebberon, located to the far west. Born to a pair of army generals, Lance had little choice but to be raised as a soldier. He had an iron will and a strong arm at an early age, and only continued to improve, even to the point of surpassing his parents. When Ebberon went to war with a neighboring country, Kyber. Lance was chosen as an ambassador, and was able to easily convince the king to stop fighting. Unfortunately, shortly after, the king was assassinated and Kyber went to war with Ebberon. Lance was chosen to be one of five leaders in charge of the main bulk of Ebberon's army. Here is where Lance found his innate knack for tactics, defeating Skrimish after skrimish, they had easily captured the main city of Kyber.

Once the county was no longer at war, Lance was at a bit of a loss as to what to do. Planning was his specialty, yet he had no plan of action. He soon left bis homeland in search of some sort of purpose. He traveled for almost three years before deciding to become a knight. He was one once before, why not do it again? It was all he knew how to do. Of course, it wasn't that easy. You needed someone to sponsor you after all. Fortunately, there was an easy solution to this. Making friends with a knight named Blatzy, he then showed off his skills. Blatzy knew Lance was an experienced soldier, and sponsored him. Then was the trial. He needed knowledge on the Abbdi, as then the fighting part. Lance had somewhat of an idea of what they were, but didn't have a lot of knowledge. So, Lance spent the next month tirelessly studying them. How to fight them. How to kill them. What they can do. What they're weak to. All this and more was absorbed by Lance, and demonstrated his knowledge to Blatzy. Then the fighting part. Easy. Lance formulated a plan with the entire group. Recognizing everybody's skills and weaknesses. Utilizing blind spots, distractions, and range, the "Abbdi" was easily taken care of. Lance then waited for the ceremony.

@Lord Orgasmo It's pretty good. I'd just like some general idea of his height (So I can be like "The tall warlord" or w/e is appropriate, instead of another vague 'he' or having to use his name six times in the same paragraph if he shows up that much in one). I may think of a couple more things after I go to bed, but they'll all probably just be small things.

Also, if anyone happens to skim this and is making a mage character, I completely changed the 'magecraft' section of the OP to try to clarify some stuff. It's, at its core, mostly the same, but the more nuanced stuff is better explained.

I've Just been playing solitaire and minesweeper for the past hours waiting for these kids to get out of my office.
I'l probably have Monica go home soon or something. More energy drinks are required.

Book of Aeos (V1)

A full five minutes had passed before Ysran had regained his senses. Thankfully nobody had seemed to notice his little display. Except for Elyria, if course. Groaning, Ysran slowly managed to get to his feet. He began to speak slowly: "Okay...I think, uh... I think I'm fine. I'll just... Cut back on the magic a bit..." He gave Elyria a quick nod, as a means of thanks, and he began to slowly collect the fish scattered around. Once he had an armfull, he returned to Alberich. "I uh... I got some fish. There's still a whole bunch more over there..." He pointed to the area beside the lake. "I need to uh... sit down for a moment... maybe I'll read something..." He shuffled slowly towards the fire and dar down. Putting his pack in front of him, he began to go through it. There were some candles, chalk, a few books, some detailing spells, the others, we're likely some other sort of ritual. Ysran was a little to tired to translate through the books, and tried to find one in common. Pulling our a small paperback book, the title read: "Choose your own adventure! Dungeons and Dragons: Fall of Wintersrock." a bit of a silly read, but he needed something to help him relax. That is, of course, until they were attacked by who-knows-what. Things always seemed to go in that direction for him. Taking his crossbow and blade off, he set them beside himself, and began to dig into his book.

"Dibs on the broom!" Ysran exclaimed, hopping onto the flying broom with Cherry. The broom visibly lowered for a moment as it adjusted to his weight. He then turned to his summon, Chuckles. He doubted Rockin' would be able to carry both Rawk and Chuckles. That, and Chuckles probably wouldn't know how to stay on. "Sorry buddy, looks like I'm gonna have to send you home for a while. Buh bye!" Chuckles made no reaction. He simply stood in place with the same soulless look. With a flick of the wrist, Chuckles dissappeared in a puff of thick black smoke. "We ready?" Ysran thought for a moment. Was there anything he was missing? They found the piece. There was the whole bullet problem, but there was doubtlessly more on his person somewhere. And then there were the guys still at the beginning. Eh. They should probably do something about that."So should we check on those other guys or nah? I vote nah."

@Jarrid Right now, your characters can do just about whatever they want, however, soon enough I'll start to sprinkle in some Eldritch elements. I'm mainly waiting for everybody to be in roughly the same area.
