Remember when people used to buy ringtones? I don't think I've taken my phone off vibrate in like a decade.

My 1x1 thread, because I'm a shameless hack.

@Ambra Greetings, Earthling!
Here's my attempt. If something needs to be balanced, let me know.

I completely forgot to subscribe to the thread! My bad. I'll get a character sheet up soon. Do you want it here, or in the OOC for you to approve?

Ysran

Nicking tree after tree, Ysran grew increasingly bored. Hm. What to do, what to do...He could smell... smoke? It was faint, but yes, that was definitely the smell of something burning. That means someone is nearby! Maybe they could help him get his bearings? He perked up his elven ears and used his superior hearing to listen in for something. Nothing that way. Or the other way. What about... the slight sound of moaning could be heard. But this was like a zombie moan, not a sexy time moan. The trees could wait, there were zombies on the loose!

He ran and ran, until two hunched over swaying figures stood in his sight. They were about 30 feet away, and hadn't seemed to notice him yet. The smoke smell was much stronger here. He perked up his ears once more. There appeared to be some sort of conversation going on. There was a woman's, and a deep voice. Were they talking to the zombies? Or perhaps they were controling them? No, the woman said that three is better than two, so there was likely a third party involved. He decided his best course of action was to bide his time and wait. Things were to unclear to make any sort of decision.
Albus

Before he knew it, the woman had started spitting out horseriding tips left and right! Trying his best to memorize everything, he nodded as a signal of thanks. She said her name. Siran, huh? Shouldn't be that hard to remember. "My name's Albus. Here's to a good time, eh?"

"Time's up!" He heard.

"Looks like that's our cue. Here goes!" With one effortless leap, Albus was on the saddle of the horse, reins in hand. He looked to the others as they headed out the main gate. He pointed the reins towards the rest.

"Uh... go that way!" he said to the horse. Either by sheer luck, or being easier than he thought, the horse began trotting off towards the rest. This wasn't so bad. Though he could do without the constant bumping. The constant jingling of his armor made him feel loud and out of place, he still wasn't quite used to it yet. Then the wyvern took off, and before he knew it, it was in the air. An aerial view would probably be useful, they would likely be able to see a little farther than the rest. But now, it was time for his journey to start.

He followed the rest through the streets, and it seemed like people were starting to gather in the streets. It felt... strange. There were many eyes on him, and it kind of made him uncomfortable. Just keep looking forward. Don't make eye contact. And before he knew it, they were at the edge of the city. Then to the roads. He felt more at ease on the road. He was used to them. And with all these others, it was like he was back home again. Minus the horses, of course.
And my fat ass is eating whatever I can find.
