I mean other than being already really old. Your character would of had to steal that stuff before things went down otherwise he would have died with every other Gothamite.

A possible issue with the Patchwork concept is that Arkham may have been wholly destroyed. It is possible that Arkham Island may be the version in this game, thus it could possibly have been out of range of Jokers' bombing, or he could've rushed there early on. But I find the timeline being a problem, because it would make your character very old, assuming the game would have a fifty year timeframe or anything like that like in Old Man Logan. Plus, the villains probably would've killed him, rising to power and all.

Not saying it's a bad idea. But just a few things to think about.

I mean fifty years in a post apocalyptic world is going to leave a fellow in pretty rough shape. Especially considering all the Nukes and Space Stations being dropped. Not to mention the taxes man, the taxes!

One question, what version of the Watchtower are you saying crashed? from what I have seen of the Watchtower it is a pretty hefty base and would cause little short of an E.L.E. specially in the case of the version from Young Justice. Just a thought.

In terms of characters I am going to be putting some pretty harsh limitations on them because of the nature of the world. In Old Man Logan it was revealed that the X-Gene was actually not the future of humanity and was just in fact a freak mutation. Mutants were dying out. Here I'm still going to allow metahumans, homo-magi (think Zatanna) and naturally skilled humans. But Atlanteans, Amazons, aliens and Lanterns will all be out.

This looks like enough interest to definitely post an OOC though. So I will aim to finish that up tomorrow night, I have most of it written it's just a matter of hammering out some more details about the setting and letting you know the who's who. There will be a set character sheet provided in the OOC as well so no need to submit a character until then.

I could be completely wrong as I don't use guns or anything but I can't see a store down town renting a weapon in Canada. Due to the licensing and whatnot but a shop on a range might rent.

@DJAtomika Yeah getting everyone together likely would work. Problem is, I never intended this to be a 'team RP' per say. Though I suppose necessary adjustments could be made.

Got the job, I start next Monday looking at 9-4:30 but I think the hours are flexible so I want to see if I can do 8-3:30 instead.
