Dictatorship is the most effective one, look at the Roman empire, or the Franks.
Nazis weren't that effective imo, they were too driven by beliefs.

The average individual is pretty dumb, myself included. I don't know what's best for mankind, odds are that 99.9% of people don't either. In fact, the people are the least qualified ever to decide the fate of their country.

Reason I think organized anarchism is the best is because I despise most authority figures, as most of them think they deserve respect because of their title and not because of their actions. In a OA civilization we wouldn't have to deal with that. People would sort of follow whoever it is that is the brightest, most charismatic person. Not who has the most money in their pocket.

Course, Anarchism can't last forever. It needs to evolve into a civilization again. But it's a reset button for a couple of generations.

Perhaps at first but people I find will eventually flock to wealth as well. With or without a monetary system there is still a system of wealth. whomever has the most food, livestock, weapons etc. Intelligence and charisma may count out the gate but if you don't use that to build power and wealth then there's no point in following someone like that in a land without rule. Simply put there's going to be a dumb person who won't hesitate to shoot before talking.
@Hillan In all honesty I am totally up for a fascist government or monarchy as opposed to democracy. Democracy works too slow and doesn't even benefit the people.

Anarchy will just lead to Darwinism which depending on perspective is good or bad haha.

Well, when you put it that way...

Actually as a limited number of people did get to vote this would be an oligarchy at best.

No matter what we all know communism works best anyways.

It's almost as if you were living with me. I cooked a three course meal at six am, ate, did dishes and then went to bed at six am.

Whoops.

Also, no longer drunk / hungover from the festivities. So back to working on Q.

I would kill you lol That said, at least 6am is a tolerable time to be awake. As long as I could have some for breakfast this is a suitable compromise.
Well move went smoothly, may kill my new roommate by the end of the week if I wake up to him showering at 4am again (I must note that he doesn't work, if currently still sleeping and has no plans for the day so the shower is completely unjustified.) but otherwise the move was smooth.

I'm still without internet at home for the time being but I'm going to try and get some work done on my CS while I have down time at my job. Don't know why I thought I could write at home lol, place is a mess and we're constantly unpacking and when we're not unpacking we're going out to buy things that we need. Moving is expensive people lol.
Woot Byrd Man is here!

I agree whole heartedly with that. Tom Cavanagh knocked it out of the park every time he appeared on screen.

Yeah definitely one of the strongest actors on the cast.

Well I've finished my backstory, now onto everything else haha.

@GreenGrenade,@Vandy I'm moving this weekend and won't have internet installed until Wednesday evening just to give everyone a heads up. In the event I do not finish my CS by tomorrow I'm going to save it to my laptop and work away at it offline so it should be ready for Wednesday at the latest. Should I finish it before hand, I may be able to upload it from my work on my lunch.
@GreenGrenade
For the sake of conversation, did any of you guys watch the first season of Flash? What did you think of it?

One of the best superhero shows I've seen in awhile. Couldn't get my wife to watch Gotham, Arrow or Daredevil with me but she made me wait each week to watch the Flash with her so it was good. The other surprise this year had to be iZombie, I thought it was quite well done and was rather enjoyable. That said I loved Rob Thomas' work with Veronica Mars and considering the similarities between the female leads and their supporting casts it really shouldn't be much of a surprise that iZombie was just as enjoyable.

But yes Flash was quite well done and was able to spoon feed you telepathic gorillas and time travel without you groaning and complaining that it was too campy or out there. Everything felt fairly justified in universe most of the time.
