Yes, once bitten, or even if one gets too close to a zombie, their life force starts to be drained. A bite almost immediately means you're dead.

I don't understand this part of the question. However once a person is drained of their life force, they essentially become a black dried out mummified husk of who they used to be and act as part of the parasite's hive mind.
@The Grey Warden Zombie is a loose term. A serial killer was killed and his body was inhabited by an alien parasite. This parasite feeds on life force and as it harvests it from its victims, it leaves them as zombified husks which acts as its thralls.
"Superboy, Kid-Flash! What're doing just standing there, like a pair of spare nerds at the prom? There's a zombie apocalypse going on out there, in case you hadn't noticed! It's full on Romero out there! I could use a hand!"

Static had the best theme songs back in the day. He was untouched.
Edit: Even some of the songs that played in the background of the episode were good.

I think this one takes the cake.
Although not the actual show's theme, this one gets major credit in my opinion for combining the two series' themes together.
That's the question that I need to know. How will Static be introduced in this roleplay? He doesn't know that Rose left the group, so could it just be a routine inspection?

In the comic, Titans drop by all the time to visit and hang out, Static could have simply been coming to hang out only to find the city in chaos.

Nope no worries! I'd advise bringing Static in by having him show up in San Fran as opposed to the tower personally, ultimately up to you though.
Edit: It was very tempting to make Static's song choice the show's theme but I resisted.
