Sure. With far more jumps in logic and smudging of the rules, the same could be applied. I just don't see logic jumps or rules smudging with the Transformers

I'm not saying there is. I'm saying I don't like the idea of them. Sure by logic and rules they fit, you're absolutely right. But I personally don't think they belong and as such will be voting against the idea.
Well, Gundam and Star Trek don't take place on a present day earth, so they're out. Don't see the problem with The Doctor eithed. I dunno. I don't see an argument, and they ARE an IDW comic which is a company called out in the first post

The Doctor is a key component to time travel or even Booster Gold. It doesn't seem so far fetched to have the Enterprise turn up in space, they just had a cross over with Green Lantern even. With the right CS all of your above points could apply to them as well.
Gosh, woulda been nice to know when I first stated my interest and went on to write a CS the size of Texas. Good golly jee. I can see your point, I suppose. The franchise technically fit into the perameters established in the OP (A part of IDW/Marvel comics and not, say, a Manga) so I guessed that Optimus would fit into Maximum's canon.

As I have stated, I'm only a third of the GM's and I have no idea what Gowi and EE's opinion on the matter is. All I have stated is that I'm personally against it.

On a serious note, I agree with Wraith on this one. I don't think it's a stylistic issue, I just think they work a lot better when they're self-contained and even Marvel understood that when they owned the rights to them the first time around. I guess there's not really any other game that Prime could be played in around here so I'm more sympathetic towards it than I'd otherwise be. I just think the consequences of integrating them into a shared universe have larger ramifications for everyone than, say, integrating someone like Smiley. If the Transformers didn't end up sprawling over into everything I reckon I could probably hold my nose and deal with it though.

I can't say it any better than this right down to the last sentence. Additionally, every argument for having Transformers in the game works equally well for Eastern Comics as well. I really just think the line has to be drawn somewhere, you bring in Transformers, it doesn't seem like a big stretch for Gundams. The Enterprise shows up from a dimensional rift caused accidentally by The Doctor. I mean there's an argument for some many characters I think we need to start to reel back some.
Sorry, gotta stick up for Transformers here. There's no reason to keep them out of the game. Stylistically they fit with superheroes.

I highly disagree but I'm only one AGM.
How about FacePunch and Optimus Prime?

I personally am not a fan of bringing in Transformers and as such am voting against it.
@Byrd Man I'll give it my approval if that means anything along with approval to @HenryJonesJr for Lex.
It's too long. I'll read it tomorrow :P
A clinic for everyone on the appropriate brevity of a character sheet:

Honestly with canon characters I would be okay with this.
Face, you've set a new standard I would like to reach when it comes to Character Sheets. Great job!

And yet Sloth's was too long lol.
