//ABILITIES:
■   ENHANCED LIFESPAN | The average American River Otter lives until the age of sixteen. This would make Slip currently middle aged, however his mechanical augmentation has tripled his life meaning Slip is capable of living until the ripe old age of forty eight years. As such, he's currently in his prime.

■   ENHANCED PHYSIOLOGY | When Slip was experimented on, his skeletal frame was grafted with an alien alloy. As such, Slip is much more durable than he looks. His bones are capable of surviving major impacts or even blows from superhumans. The experiments also resulted in Slip being injected with a chemical compound which merged with her hair folicles causing his fur to become resistented to flame and energy. His fur is capable of disipating energy blasts, distributing the blow over a wider area to reduce the damage. Slip is also faster and stronger than an average otter, his strength on pair with a professional human athelete while his speed allows him to reach up to nearly 80kph (50mph) in the water. His running speed is significantly slower due to having to run on all four stubby legs.

■   OMNI-LINGUAL | While the experiments on Slip increased his vocal range, it's the universal translator implanted in both his vocal chords and ears that allow him to communicate with others. The translator is pre-programmed with nearly nine million known languages and can learn new ones through linguistic analysis. This allows Slip to communicate with nearly every species so long as they communicate verbally.

■   POCKET HAMMERSPACE | In the wild, otters have a fur pouch on their chest where they keep their favourite rock. This rock is used to break open shellfish and dig under water in order to find food. Slip was no different until he was experimented on. Now his fur pocket actually contains a limitless hammer space enabling him to store large weapons and even bounties in his chest. As such he stores all his arms in this pocket hammer space, only pulling them out when necessary.

//EQUIPMENT:
■   REVOLVER | A quick draw side-arm, Slip is rarely without his revolver. Capable of firing super heated slugs, the rounds act as a combination of both energy and ballistic fire. The weapon has a secondary fire mode which emits electrifying rounds designed to attack the nervous system which paralyzes the target.

■   PLASMA THROWER | Slip's favourite weapon, the plasma thrower is a lethal weapon which emits a superheat gout of plasma. This beam can be sustained to cut through most metals and often bypassing kinetic shields and other forceshields.

■   BLUNDERBUSS | A powerful kinetic weapon which fires a spread of solid rounds at a deadly velocity. Used for bypassing kinetic fields and penetrating enemy armor. The rounds explode upon impact for additional damage.

■   PETRIFIER | A wrist mounted fire arm that emits a beam which traps the target in frozen petrified state that keeps the victim in a state of stasis. Used for securing bounties and allowing Otter to transport them without struggle.

■   GRAV-GRENADES | Grenades which affect gravity, either pinning the target to the ground with increased gravity or sending them hurling through the air by decreasing it. Furthermore, if the grenade was detonated against a wall, the gravity would pull the target to the wall instead of the floor. The increase or decrease of gravity depends on which way Slip turns the cap.

//DESCRIPTION:
Slipstream appears to be an average North American River Otter. Aside from this, he wears a mechanical harness which act as augmented prostectic arms to allow Slip to use and manipulate firearms, controls and other such instrumentation which would normally be out of reach for his stubby arms. Additionally this harness has a jetpack which rests on Slip's back.Beneath the harness sits a long and heavy leather like coat. This coat reaches from Slip's neck, down to his ankles and is resilient to most energy attacks as well as armored against ballistic ones. A dark brown, appearing almost black in some lights, the coat is made from the hide of what could be essentially described as a space alligator. Around the collar and lapels is a thick layer of wool like fur to add both warmth and a decorative design to the coat. Over his right eye, Slip wears an optical augment which acts as a targeting device and HUD. Slip has a gold hoop in his left ear as well as several gold bands around his tail. More often than not, Slip wears a leather flying cap with the goggles seated above his forehead.

For decades, hollywood has portrayed aliens as little green men who steal away men, woman and cows in the night, probing them before returning them to Earth. Slipstream found out the hard way that not only are these stories true but the victims are not limited to humans and cattle. Abducting the young otter from his holt, Slip was experimented on by the small green aliens who mechanically augmented his entire skeleton and granting the rodent increased intelligence. Escaping his makers, Slip found himself alone in a massive new world. Learning how to survive, Slip found he had a knack for machines and eventually built himself a mechanical harness that allowed him to use firearms and fly spaceships.

@The Kid Lantern, got this pretty far along. It should communicate my basic idea anyways so I just wanted to post it here so you could give it the old 'Yay or Nay' before I fully flesh it out since I realize it does border on the 'ridiculous' :P
