Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

"Oi! Bah! You didn't have to banish him, he could've fought on his own too you know!" Marchosias was mildly annoyed that this guy wasted time and spellslots to dismiss his horse. He didn't even realize it was due to Stitch's own nature as a divine being; to him even if you couldn't utilize the mount as intended, he could have at least improvised. If nothing else, the fear aura from the Nightmare kept the bulk of the garef warriors away, leaving them only to need to deal with the undead. No matter, these guys were going down easily enough. It was just a bit of a chore to chew through them.

Fortunately enough the guy had a plan. He used some sort of spell or magic that created an area-of-effect attack that cleared out nearly all the undead that were in this cave. Marchosias knew it was an anti-undead effect due to how it affected him; a slight shiver down his spine. Now the only thing between them were the regular garef warriors, most of whom where running away due to the fear aura from the Nightmare. They should still be running for the next minute or so, so it was fairly clear from here. Marchosias wished he could summon his Nightmare again, but he needed to wait a few minutes before the cooldown was over; in that time the garef warriors would shake off the fear aura and it'd just be a waste of time. "Forward then."

Marchosias charged forward, cutting down garef warriors who were still capable of fighting back. He largely ignored the ones who were cowering or still running away from him; he simply didn't care enough to cut them down even if he knew he could kill them easily. He needed to see what was on the other side of this tunnel. Further ahead was some sort of large, black armored being with two huge horns, somewhat similar to the garef. Machosias assumed this was the leader of the Garef considering his size, equipment, and horns, so Marchosias choose to attack the monster quickly from behind in case he was a real threat. He put his shield away, grasping his cleaver with both hands as he focused his furious energies into a single slash. Thanks to the effect of the Executioner Cleaver, the first strike will do massive amounts of damage, exponentially increasing the damage from the Furious Focus power attack.

Marchosias leapt into the air and cleaved through the hulking warrior, cleaving him from head to groin, emerging out from the other side in a single movement. Much to Marcosias's surprise however, he found himself standing in the center of some sort of necromancer circle. There were more undead garef ahead of him, plus a few death worms (One of which was dead), and a pixie flying around. Marchosias would ask questions but he imagined that he was still in some sort of danger, so the first thing he did was activate his Warcry. "WAAAAAAARGH!" With everyone's attention onto him, cutting down any garef he could reach. And thanks to his speed buff, reaching them was quite easy.

The undead berserkers, death worms, and necromancers were having a much harder time than the garef realized. The undead berserkers, said to be stronger than even an elite knight thanks to the garef's superior physical strength and their undead fortitude, were being cut down like blades of grass. Even the death worms, catastrophes of their own, were killed with startling ease. The hide of a death worm was so thick that only magic swords could withstand chipping away at their hides; even weapons made of metals like mithril would fail to pierce without skilled precision, and only the strongest spellcasters could hope to have their magic do much as scratch their skin. And thus it was all the more telling that Xavier, who was using nothing more than his own fists, were punching fist-shaped holes clean through the death worm's hides. The beasts screamed in pain and agony as it fell onto the ground, flailing in pain and crushing everything near it. But even as it did so, it's fate was sealed; shortly after the barrage of blows from Xavier, the worm would die.

The Necromancers themselves were the most surprised. They were expecting resistance. They weren't expecting to be beaten back so badly. They could see their warriors dying in drove and one of their death worms being slain almost immediately after it appeared, and the other Deathworm wasn't doing any better. As the acolytes were debating about retreating, a small pixie arrived and taunted them. They readied their staffs to sling spells at her, only to see her take control of their own undead, siccing them onto the necromancers. Of course it was an illusion and that wasn't actually happening, but none of them realized this. With their own undead attacking them, a few necromancers tried to slay them with magic missiles and burning hands, knowing that their stronger spells had no effect on the zombie warriors; poison clouds or negative energy blasts would do no harm against the undead, intentionally so. Normally the necromancers would cast such spells even with their zombies in the radius so they wouldn't have to worry about friendly fire. They could have never expected that someone would use zombies against them, least of all their own.

The leader of the necromancers and the garef as a whole was both furious and afraid. To see so many years of hard work gathering his warriors, training the acolytes, and taming those death worms, and on the day of their first battle they were taking such horrible losses! But not all was lost. There was still a single ace in the hole that the Necromancer had. It was risky, because even he hasn't fully mastered his control over this mighty beast, but now was the only time he could rely on it to turn the tides. The leader took out a ceremonial knife and stabbed one of his acolytes, using him as a sacrifice to summon his strongest undead. "These people are strong... But not as strong as the DEATH KNIGHT!"

The body of the dead acolyte quivered and warped as the leader caused it to rise up and grow, it's bones growing armor and shadows condensing into weapons. The body grew two meters tall as it was clad in armor made of blood and shadows, with a gleaming greatsword with a serrated edge. In it's other hand, a massive shield that could easily cover it's entire body, and when it fully formed, the death knight's eyes glowed a searing bright red, so bright that even those at the entrance of the tunnel could see it. And once it was fully formed, the Death Knight split open, spitting out a smaller, but no less fearsome warrior. He was only slightly taller than the garef themselves, but he wielded a massive cleaver taller than him stained the blood of hundreds before him. He barely looked around before releasing a blood curdling yell that got the attention of the necromancers and undead alike as he began to rampage through the ranks. The Garef leader, uncertain of what just happened, considers using this moment to escape. While his acolytes fought for their lives he broke a leaf shaped charm on his mantle which caused him to turn invisible, where he proceeded to sneak away before anyone could kill him.

Yeah you’re about 30 feet, and the miasma creates a 10 foot circle around the corpse. Basically if you’re right next to the body you’ll get caught in it.
You will need to be posting in iniative order, and of the five trogs, four have half cover and one has 3/4 cover.]

Secret White Fang Base
Finding Trouble

While everyone else was out doing missions, Gren went to investigate a personal matter. Without a team, Gren was his own leader. And while he’s certain that Beacon expects him to do things for them, hence the missions, these too were important to Beacon’s wellbeing. They just weren’t on the books. He packed up his great, loaded up on ammo and armor, and left the safety of the city to go investigate a ruined town a couple miles away. Like many towns, this was supposed to be a new settlement, a new opportunity for people to make a new life and a better future for themselves. And like many towns, it ultimately ended up in disaster. Bandits quickly moved in and started subjecting the townsfolk. They tried to fight back. They lost.

And of course that entire conflict made this place ripe for grimm to come in and clean up the mess left behind. The bandits stole everything they could carry, leaving behind bad memories and dead bodies. Nowadays however, this same nameless town had a different pest infection; White Fang. After clearing out the Grimm, a group of White Fang operatives set up a camp here for the purpose of resupply, recovery, and reconnaissance. But like with many things Gren has his thumbs in, there was more to it than that. Because the original purpose of the town was to be a medical facility; there were plants and minerals nearby that could potentially help treat various diseases and illnesses, so this place was once quite capable of performing various operations and tests. Of course this also meant this town had loads of drugs, which was what the bandits were after and what they took once they razed the town.

However not all was lost, and with some time and effort, the White Fang were able to get the labs working so they could continue their research. Not that the White Fang did a lot of their own research, but that’s why Gren sent Pop’s here. That old bear from way back when, trying to turn faunas back into people. Even now Gren wondered if it was really such a bad idea; he himself can’t really say that he’s still a faunas when he’s over 90% machine. Really, the only reason he had to take the guy in was because his former team leader made the wonderful decision to pick a fight with him by herself. And Gren wasn’t the type to let such an opportunity go to waste.

So of course this couldn’t just be a simple check up. Oh no. The Camp was being attacked by other White Fang. Gren had worried about this before; their splinter faction had likely been discovered. It was hard to tell who was one whose side as Gren approached hearing the gunfire and fighting. But if he had to guess, the one defending the camp were his allies and the ones attacking the camp were his enemies. So Gren got his gun out and activated his semblance as well as his thrusters, and rushed into battle.

Using his Friction to allow him to slide across the ground using the thrusters to propel him, Gren quickly found himself in the center of a White Fang firing squad. In the brief moment of confusion, Gren rechanneled his semblance through the bodies of the White Fang around him, specifically to their weapons. When they turned to shoot him they could only get one shot off before their own guns flew out of their hands due to the sheer recoil of the bullets, and Gren’s semblance making sure they had no grip on their guns. Gren of course had no problem using his weapon and so he proceeded to open fire, literally, and dousing the White Fang near him in napalm from his flame thrower.

”I better figure out what’s going on here.”

About 50 feet. Also the bulk of the storm would hit the temple in a few minutes, but in a few seconds you'll get stuff like rain and cloud cover. But then again, Norn has never been nice to anyone here. One shouldn't be surprised at unexpected hostile weather raining on your parade.
@rush99999@Searat@Riaxh@Duthguy

Poated again, and since we seem to be doing combat, I do need everyone to roll me initiative. Though I believe Riaxh already has so I'll take that into account too. In any case let me describe the battlefield for you;

initially, everyone was about 60 feet away from the dead creature the trogs were eating. Angus and Raugar can get their javelin attacks off fine since presumably they approach within effective range and then throw them, however for Thokk moving and dashing would take up your action (Since it'll take 60 feet of movement to even get to them), so you can't attack. The Trogs used a disengage action to avoid being attacked as they go and climb onto the temple, which is roughly 20 away from the dead sea creature, and they appear to be taking cover behind the various stoneworks. The storm is fast approaching and it will arrive after the next turn. When the trogs arrive, I'll figure out when I roll it.

Also for the most part, EXP is on a milestone basis. Specifically, I'll allow a level up when I feel that you have done something significantly important enough to justify leveling up. Killing a whole nest of CR 1/4 goblins won't really do it unless there were like, hundreds of them, but taking on an troll 1v1 might be enough. This is mainly to encourage you guys to go out and find greater challenges, rather than to just farm trash mobs and expect to learn something from it.
The adventurers took the initiative and attacked the trogs first, though the trogs were well aware of their intentions once they began to approach. They continued screaming but seemed to retreat, heading towards the temple while focusing their efforts into avoiding any attacks. More trogs could be heard screaming deeper into the ruins, and it would appear that they were coming. When, it was unknown. But they were coming, and these trogs were wait for them while the adventurers tried to fight them off. A trog was killed in the opening skirmish, it's body releasing some sort of sickening miasma that would spread and create a putrid cloud that sickened anyone nearby.

The storm was fast approaching. Any second now it would be on Brighthaven, and the Trogs have taken up some sort of defensive position on the temple itself, hiding behind statues and stonework.
@ihinka

From what you saw of the pixie, she definitely seems to be having fun leading this orc around. You know fey are mechivious little pranksters so chances are she was messing with the orc. As for the orc himself he seems concerned and exasperated, like a man who has a lot of questions but the only person who can answer them is running from him. He does seem agitated but not violent, though the oar seemed to have been used recently.
@ihinka

You could insight to get an idea of the orc’s temperament but if you wanna know exactly what went down you may wanna ask questions. Insight is not mind reading.
