Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Hmm. Frankly Orchid thinks it'd be better if he goes on his own, since Brannor's heavier armor won't really be useful for sneaking around. but Orchid won't stop him if Brannor still chooses to come along anyways, but he does request Brannor be at least twenty feet back when they're sneaking about so he doesn't blow Orchid's stealth.
Also as for the Countercharm thing, that's fine with me. Though some might think it's a bit too good letting a bard have a bonus action advantage against Frighten/Charmed effects, frankly those sorts of things don't normally come up a lot that it'll matter... Though lets just say I'm being generous for this one. Also don't forget to include your Blade Flourish ability as a Sword Bard. You get that at level 3 as well.
@Tangletail

While I don't mind you using kobolds, got some questionable stuff looking through this character sheet. I know that Jack of Trades lets you add half your proficency on skills you aren't proficient with, but how do you have +2 to your Strength and Constitution saves with a strength of 8 (-1) and 11 (+0)? Jack of Trades doesn't affect your saving throws. Ability Checks in this instance affects only things such as your skills, initiative, and tools. Your Intelligence save should be a +1 as well.

Speaking of stats, everyone is level 3 right now so you shouldn't be able to get a feat as a kobold. Additionally running your stats through a stat calculator, you're 29/27 for total point buy based off the numbers from you CS, even after subtracting the +1 to charisma you get from the Actor feat.

Also I'm assuming your background is some variety of the Entertainer background given your feature, trinket, and skills, I'm not sure how you're pulling two languages even if you had chosen to forgo proficiency for an instrument for a new language, which I'd allow, but only for one language. Being able to understand different languages will be important in this RP as many of the ruins are from different races, cultures, and so forth, with common really only be understood by those who come to these lands and not the assumed language of the natives.

Also improvised percussion is not a specific enough instrument for you to claim as a skill (Improvisation for performances will just be handled as a general performance check). Being proficient with drums would imply that you know how to keep a rhythm with percussion instruments. Improvised percussion instruments will, again, be a straight performance check unless their craftsmanship is well enough that they're improvised by material standards only (A drum made from dwarven flash stretched over a shield for example). And for the purpose of using such things as spell casting catalyst for bards as they can use instruments for such purposes, again you need proper instruments or at least be able to create a good enough approximation of the ones yours proficient with, not simply banging you hands or objects together and calling it music. Otherwise you may as well say clubbing a person in the head is sufficient enough for a bard to be preforming music, and that's why they had to make a subclass specifically so a bard can beat people with their weapons as instruments.

Also you put Suggestion and Warding Wind in your third level spell slots. Do note that as a level 3 bard you can only use 4 first level spells and 2 second level spells, and you should only know two cantrips. And do adjust your DC and spell attack bonus in accordance to your stats after you fix those as well.
@Hekazu

I'm thinking of having Orchid go into the woods to recon. See how the cultist have reacted to the group taking Leosin out and such. Alternatively, if Orchid can do it within the span of a day, perhaps treat that drakehide he got and make it into a proper hide for his shield. Right now it's just crudely boiled and stretched, but more could be done to make it more robust.

Hey, welcome to the RP, we’re still accepting. I’ve played around with bards in 5e and in older editions so I have a tenuous grasp at how they function and how their abilities are way different.

Personally I lean towards Valor Bard simply because it was the first type of bard I played, but Lore Bards can be quite useful in their own right. Unlocking Magical Secrets at level 6 and taking ranger/Paladin spells bring one of the more obvious uses. I’ve never used Sword bards myself so not sure how they play.

We can work out some alterations as needed, but you’d best tell me what you want first before you set yourself into a build that relies on it.
Katherine

Once Katherine approached, the tiefling took a seat beside the blond woman, who seemed to take her time looking at Katherine and examining her features. Her light white hair, golden yellow eyes, her near pitch black tail. Compared to the others here, Katherine was relatively normal looking aside from the blond. The Tiefling had demonic written all over his empty face, the snakeman seemed more beastial than human, and there was something off about the gnome, more so than gnomes normally are. Even the leader herself had a certain look about her that made you wonder if her head was going to split open into a giant toothy maw and bite your face off. Or maybe Kathrine was just down here for too long.

"Katherine Lindall... A pleasure. I am Selena Riovas. Not many know of Underhaven, and less know of Lucilia, especially for newcomers. I'm well aware of why you're here, as my eyes can see more than just the darkness underground, so let's not try to be too coy with one another. To that end I'm actually looking for Lucilia myself. It's strange for her to not be here for so long with no notice. Doubtful that she's in any danger, but just as well who knows what's going on with her... My friends and I plan to head up to the surface to look. Care to join us?"

As Selena spoke to Katherine, her tiefling minion as well as the snake man spoke to Livia. Seemed that the vampire had no interest in Livia, or perhaps she just wanted to divide the two sisters from one another so she could have Katherine all to herself. Indeed, as Katherine looked at Selena, her view would shift slowly into Selena's eyes, almost mesmerizing so. Like looking into a bright portal into a new world, mysterious yet tempting.

Livia

As Livia approached, the demon who had spoke to Katherine turned towards her. His wicked grimace continued to bare his toothy smile as he gave her his attention. "Please to make your acquaintance, Mistress Fiore. We've been expecting you." He snapped his fingers towards the snakeman who stopped to see what was going on. Seemed like he wasn't paying too much attention. "You name carries some weight even here, though I imagine that you're not the type of woman who intends to coast along a family name. Such ambition is admirable; lesser folk would resent you out of jealousy, thinking that you've thrown away privilege to feed your own pride, but simple folk rarely understand the intricacies of aristocracy and the responsibilities that come with it. In any case, I am Darc." After his lengthy introduction the tiefling took one of the vials that the snakeman had and handed it to Livia. It was tightly corked and in a fairly thick glass, as far as small vials go.

"A welcoming gift for one such as yourself. Snake Venom. Now I'm sure you're wondering what the price would be, but let me be blunt and simply say that this is a gift to earn your trust. I certain that you've had a poor reception since you've arrived here, and I have no doubts that you were tormented on your way to this place. Far be it from me to complicate it further with unnecessary distractions, requests, or bargaining. But enough sophistry. Maeda is a busy woman and so she doesn't like to be kept. I'm sure there's still more that needs to be done, so allow me to humbly offer my services for you, in exchange for a lasting partnership in the near future. You're free to refuse of course... But be doubly sure that you can afford to do so."

Ethan

The men gathered seemed highly annoyed at Ethan, but their chief simply raised a hand to make them backdown. He spoke quietly to Ethan so he could mull on why these men are so high strung. "One of Sip's Couriers brought these bandits into the village. He worked with them in order to learn where our valuables were stored, our patrols, and who among the villagers could repel their raiders. Many of the young folk were killed because these men were far too kind and trusting of a stranger who showed no ill-intent. They don't intend to make that mistake a second time." The chief sighed and stepped back to reorganize his thoughts before speaking more clearly. "As for your goods, I'm afraid that due to recent bandit activities, we've not been able to prepare them. After the last attack we've been forced to take considerable withdrawals from our emergency supplies and we've not been able to meet our quotas." The chief handed Ethan a tightly wrapped package that was about as thick as a notebook.

"In that parcel is a message saying as much to Sips. He won't like it of course, but you can hardly be faulted for our troubles. If you do still wish to gain the supplies Sips wants, I'm sure the bandits within the forest still have them, but obviously I don't recommend you do that by yourself or even now, as it's getting late. The next village is a fair bit of distance away and I have no doubt that it will have it's own perils, and not just because of the bandits. Frankly I'd recommend you turn back and return to the town immediately; even if you could somehow avoid any dangers along the way you'll be cutting it quiet close before the ferry is closed for the night. And word of our troubles have already reached the next village, so you should be prepared if they too meet your with some hostility, or at the very least have no desire to house you for the night if you're stuck there."

Uncomfortably cold. Like if you tried to even take a short rest while away from the fire, I’d need you to make a con save to not be fatigued by the chill even if you’re wrapped in furs and your bedroll. But otherwise not chilly enough if it’s just a short leave, but still notable.
None too sure what Orchid could do. Maybe have him flex those brain muscles and come up with some sort of battleplan? That would at least be within his interests.
Goro listened to Winter, mentally keeping note of what she said. He remembered seeing the plains on his way here, if only from a distance; a good place for open warfare. Not only was it a good road for supplies to travel but a wide open space would allow archers the most visibility for their attacks and for armies to meet one another. Calvary could easily cross the plains too. Not that Goro expects to face an army here, it was just speculation. His thoughts soon drifted when Winter mentioned Fellmore.

To Goro, the land’s called Fellmore was known as Rusamyht, the Heart Land of orcs. Or at least to the Storm Eye tribe and those who would despute it; point was Goro never knew of a world outside of his homelands until he finally left it.but sure enough he was rightfully worried about possibly running into orcish raiders, Storm Eye especially. But he knew of at least theee other tribes who could sail south and cause trouble.

The main one was the Black Rock tribe. As Winter said the land of Fellmore is rich in iron, and the Black Rock tribe uses it best. They had the dominate co trip over the southern sea and river routes where Ulayh is now before the Storm Eye pushed them out, and that was only possible or through outside assistance. Even with them the Black Rock tribe haven’t given up yet, with mighty warriors in advanced metal armor with keen steel weapons.amoung the orcs, the Black Rock tribe had the finest smiths.

Then there was the Green Pact orcs. Another once minor tribe who allied with humans. They, much like the Storm Eye, have created alliances with human nations and receive their support. Though so far all Goro knows is that occasionally when the Storm Eye sea raiders attack human trade ships, there are Green Pact orcs among them. While not particularly known for war or wealth, the Green Pact bad skilled herbalists who create very effective medicine and combat drugs. “Madcap” is an infamous berserker brew that can turn even a young orc into a raging madman who can tear apart a bear. Goro has seen it happen before.

And the last one is a mystery even to Goro. He’s come to call them the Ghost Face tribe. This is because these are strange looking orcs who wrap their faces in white cloth, probably to hide their identity, and employ fast moving ships instead of large vessels. While Storm Eye are well known warriors on the open ocean, these Ghost Face know how to sail, and definitely know how to use a sling. One would thing a simple leather cord wouldn’t be as effective as a bow and arrow, but those who dismiss it as a child’s toy would find a stone lodged in their skulls. The Ghost Face can hurl stones further than even human longbows, and use those slings to delivery payloads of oil bombs and poison gas. But Goro has never seen these orcs on land, and they tend to flee rather than fight, so he has no idea who they really are or where they came from.

And of course the Storm Eye themselves were an issue. Orcs by their very nature are stronger and tougher than most humans, and use that strength to lead brutally short lives. But since their alliance with the human nations the Storm Eye tribe have received better weapons, armor, and more importantly training. Before one may think an orc to be brutish but unrefined, lacking in technique and precision. The same could not be said of the Storm Eye. Their keen senses and lightning reflexes makes them a deadly threat whether alone or in numbers; it’s not unusual to see them react to attacks they cannot see, because they’ve sensed it in other ways. Goro himself has received similar training though because he was not a warrior, his senses aren’t nearly as sharp. But if the tribes, he has no desire to face the Storm Eye, both because they are his kinsmen and because they are dangerous foes.

What worries Goro the most is that he knew he will see some orcs from some tribe. Before he had fled home he knew the royal family were gathering up warriors lead by the eldest daughter and youngest son for some sort of expedition. Goro didn’t pay it much mind at the time since he was planning his escape, but now that he had some time to think it over he wouldn’t be surprised if they too were on their way to Bel’kin, or at least heading southbound where the magic is. All the more reason they must travel quickly.

Aside from that Goro didn’t have much to comment on in regards to the other lands. He knew little of it but suspected that they too will hold dangers he knows little about. He could only hope his skills would be of some use should trouble arise. One thing that made him feel concerned was the lack of equipment; he loathed the idea of having to ask Winter for more handouts, but his only protection was his club. He had little in the ways of armor and had no idea how to use any form of magic at all. This concerned him.

”Ah, Lady Winter, I dunno if I’m da exception to dis group or not but uh... I don’t know how ta use magic. Not a bit. How exactly we suppose to use magic ya fill in our gaps when we ain’t never handled it before?” Sure Goro was eager to learn, but how quickly would he pick up magic to be able to use it to defend himself? He learned how to fight at a young age, as all orcs did, but didn’t become considered decent until he was already fighting off enemy raiders from his ship. He imagined magic was similar, learn a bit of the fundamentals, and then hone it through practice and application. Or something. He looked to the others for their thoughts.
Not really sure what to post, kinda waiting on a Leosin response.
