Bio
Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.
Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.
Don't treat Outsiders as completely physical beings. They are like mist or water, no matter how hard your try to hold on to them, they will slip through somehow.
@Lugubrious tell me more about the temple and these new followers.
Well they are actually physical, but very agile and good at hiding, which might make some think that they're more like spirits.
Flighty and reclusive they may be, but some of them have had to die. They gather where humans gather right? With humanity pushed back, that means some settlements have been wiped out. The Dyun have rudimentary planning skills, such as 'surround place and kill everything.'
Even the most twitchy of people/animals/what have you, get caught off guard.
Not when your number-one feature is excellent vision, and when you've got superhuman speed and agility. The were designed to be more like ghosts than people or animals.
Still, a few of the slowest and dullest probably have been killed, yeah. The species grows stronger for their loss.
@Lugubrious - Question, if not all missions are completed in a timely manner by the time you implement the next part of the RP, will there be a Return to Base command? Effectively timing out the mission counter and an automatic 'fail'?
I'll ask the offending party to wrap it up before I fail them.
I liked the Smash announcements this morning. Super awesome. Tried out Ryu about an hour ago...did you know that Shin-Shoryuken kills at 25%? I'm gonna have some fun.
Is there any complex emotion (pleasure, pride, envy, and so on) Escre can feel? Like, if Kraken showed up and said Escre was a worthless piece of divine crap, would Escre even be offended?
EDIT: For the record, I DON'T think Escre is a divine crap, I'm just speaking hypothetically
Only if he started wrecking things that Escre cared about. Escre can feel emotions emanating or given from others but isn't good at having its own.
