a) I'm not sure what the issues there are, but if there are issues, I'm sure you can resolve them legally. Is discrimination not illegal under the US law?

Currently in the United States, there are twenty-one states and the District of Columbia that passed laws that prohibit employment discrimination based on sexual orientation, and nineteen states and D.C. also prohibit discrimination based on gender identity. However, the remaining states don't have any laws to protect them and they could be fired because of their sexuality. There's a bill called, Equality Act of 2015, that would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include protections that ban discrimination on the LGBT+ community. I don't know what happened to the bill (I think it's being debated), but there's your answer.

And don't forget about housing discrimination and hate crime as well. Eighteen states don't have LGBT+ hate crimes laws and twenty-seven don't prohibit housing discrimination. So, the answer is yes and no.

The United States is different from the European nations in many ways. This is just one of many examples on how different we are.
Alright, I am done with my nation.
@Esoteric, finally! Someone understands my view point on gay parades!
The real problem is that there are too many RPs on this site, we need more fucking diversity.

What do you have in mind? I am interested in what you have to say.

And I agree that there's too many RPs on this site, especially Nation RPs. You go to that sub-thread and you see so many dead roleplays that last only a few weeks.
@Ace of Hearts, I was trying to end the debate. I don't want this thread to be lock because it got derailed by an argument that got out of hand. But, it's good that you're trying to make a point and defending your views on the current issue. No matter what people are saying.

That goes to everyone else as well.
@Ace of Hearts, I could be wrong (and correct me, if I am) but he isn't saying that Nazis weren't war criminals. The Soviets were also war criminals and did more terrible actions towards people than the Germans.

You guys should have a look at this book/article by Timothy Snyder that goes into depth on how horrible both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union were during the early 1900s.
Alright, it's time for my unpopular opinion (some of you might get upset about it).

I am not a big fan of Pride parades. I understand why the parades started and the history behind that. As a gay man, I don't like shoving/showing off (to the point where it gets annoying) my sexuality towards other. Hell, I don't even mention people my sexuality unless a woman is flirting with me. And I don't get bugged by harsh words like "faggot".

And to top it off, I don't consider myself to be a liberal. I guess that my conservative and religious family had something to do with my way of thinking.

@Ace of Hearts, you have to respect peoples' opinions. If you're going to argue their points, then bring in your sources (that are good enough to be called sources, a post from Tumblr doesn't count) and properly argue with them. Don't be a douche about it.
What the actual fuck just happened? I was done playing some Europa Universalis IV and I came to check on this thread. Then, I saw the posts. This image was my reaction:

I personally don't care as long as this doesn't die right away.
