The whole thing just seemed pointless now. Was it possible Isla hadn't meant to imprison Ike? People made mistakes all the time. The whole thing just seemed to turn into a pity feast, and Gabriel sighed.
"Life sucks, get over it, and just make the best of it. Killing someone for revenge is just plain stupid. You get a small bit of relief and then spend the rest of your life chewing over what they did to you anyway. So what's the point?
So indigo took the girls legs, or the use of them, and it seems like shoving Ike into the painting was for revenge for that-see what revenge gets you? into a whole lot of mess that just makes things even worse, and chances are you're just going to make someone else want revenge.

You need the girl awake to get the whole story, I think, and you both just need to shut up, because all you're going to do is argue and probably end up in a fight again, and then we will all be back to where we started"Gabriel didn't care if he was stepping out of bounds, everyone else just seemed to be being so immature, that he figured he might as well throw his two cents in there.
