Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

I...I don't know what to post...

I'm not sure if I know whats going on.
As things seemed to have calmed down, finally, Kalinda let herself relax, just slightly. She rubbed a hand over her eyes, weary. As the warning for the sand worms came through, Kalinda stood up straight, and had daggers in her hands.

She was the last to move, almost taunting the worms to come at her. As they drew nearer, she began to move, flinging her daggers when any rose to the surface, the small figure darting forward after the others once more, she gathered her strength, and launched herself up, scrambling up the rocks to where the others were.

She flung a dagger at the closet Sand Worm, already figuring she was losing the daggers she threw at them.
Kay, I'll post...once I catch up on other roleplays.

I hope everyone is enjoying this so far.
Phoebe
@Avanhelsing
Hurrying as she was, she didn't see the normal streak that accompanied Ryan's movements in speed. She steadied herself against him, and smiled. "Good." She couldn't help herself, and she reached up to sooth his hair back into place, "Gotta make the introductory speech, tell the new students what they have to do. And I want to see if Katherine's here too"

Phoebe had to finish up her enrollment too. She was cutting back some of the super classes, and starting her degree in business management, finding it a fascinating course. The fact that the academy offered the chance to do such degrees was, in her mind, beneficial to all students.

She smiled again, "I've missed everyone. Come on, I'll tell the new students what they have to do, and then we can go get breakfast or something"

With the graduation of Johnathon, Phoebe had volunteered to do the introduction thing.

Kaliinda
@ribcageroses@pkken

Kalinda entered the school once more, emerging from the shadows. She was somewhat reluctant to return to the school, but knew she still needed more control over her empathetic abilities. She was steadily gaining control, but with the...strengthening of her empathy, it was getting hard to maintain control. Touch seemed quite...powerful over her.

She know wore a full skin suit, covering her from neck to feet, gloves over her hands. She knew the outfit was a little bit...revealing. So she wore shorts and a t-shirt.

She kept herself removed from the other students, but still she found that their emotions were over welming.

One girl appeared completely overwhelmed, utterly really, and she sighed, following the powerful emotions. Someone else was there, and Kalinda wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. "Excuse me? Do you need help?"

Harry
@Avanhelsing
Harry found a place were he could watch the going ons of the academy, the students gathering, and the buildings. Although it, Harry was sure to avoid eye contact, despite his glasses. He noticed a boy on a bench, who appeared quite displeased about being here. "If you don't want to be here, why are you?"

we need to move this on...please
Penny

As Grant did whatever it was to Karn, Penny spun about, turning to face Iron Inigma's mage, seeing him going for Malice.

"Oh, no, She's mine, but I'll save her for later." Penny's voice was hard, and her expression even harder, "You cannot use Karn against me, I won't allow it" She was furious.

Shifting, flames engulfed her as she took what she classed as her phoenix form. Not many people had seen Penny quite enraged. Less then three. And it was never something she enjoyed. One of many reasons why she didn't want to be in the games.

Penny had long ago known that she would do anything for someone she cared about. Karn might be suffering a...weird case of identity crisis, but he was still Karn. And Karn was important to Penny.

"Leave him be. You want to mess with me? Give it your best shot, but don't be a coward and use someone else. Tell me, would you rather be rare or extra crispy? Oh, too late. You'll be extra crispy" Flames burned hot, but if anyone touched them, they'd be cool and would not burn. If they hit Grant, well, they'd be hot to say the least.

Michael

Michael knew the game could very well get caotic, and he watched the event, trying to take it all in, looking up as Prince ruffled his hair. "Well, I'd say Grant is doing a good job of ticking Penny off, and it doesn't look like she fells bad about it." He said, looking back at the event, everything shown on the numerous lacrima screens around. "Why are you worried?"
