Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Cody was content to sit in silence. For him, silence wasn't silence, he could hear the conversations around them easily, but he had grown use to the chatter of it all, and knew how to block it out now. It was nice just sitting there, with someone. He continued to stab his food, as if he needed to make sure it was secured on the fork, before eating it.

He gave Gershwin a smile when she spoke and nodded, pushing away from the table to stand.

'Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow'

He stayed where he was a moment, looking about the room, taking in the different shades of light. Light had its own spectrum to Cody. After a moment, he gave a sigh and started back to his cell before he could be escorted there.

He laid out on the bed provided, and closed his eyes, willing himself to drift away into sleep.

Cody was not sure if he slept, if he slept long or even decently, but he was aware when someone came to his cell. He rose, smoothly, and quickly went over to the hand scanner.

He laid his hand lightly on it, and beneath his palm, light glowed, copying the pattern of the last successful scan out, and in a few seconds, the scanner flashed green and the door opened.

Cody stood, as the footsteps stopped, and smiled almost shyly.

'Im sorry, Agent Caits, I just had to see if that worked

Agent Caits stared at Cody, who appeared pleased with himself, despite appearing shy at the same time. He had just opened his cell. Her mind flicked through what this meant. Cody could, essentially, escape through any scanner. That meant they couldn't not take their eyes off him.

Well that would be Big Boss's Job. And she wished him well with that little headache, of organizing more people to do so. It pleased her slightly, that. Cody behaved as she escorted him to further testing. She took a moment to speak with the researchers, mentioning the scanner problem as Cody settled himself happily in a chair, appearing at ease with the fact he was being tested.

analyses report-subject 30

The subject does seem to be testing his abilities, and the limits to just how far he can go, before we discipline him. The subject does not appear to have any intention of escape, but we are alert for any.

Further testing of the subjects blood was conducted. Despite the subject unease at touch, and distress, several different samples were taken, in different anti-clotting agents, as well as a placebo sample that was not placed in any such Agenr. All samples showed the light substance in the blood.

Further DNA testing will also be conducted.

In order to cover all bases, a bone marrow sample was also taken. The subject took this wel, despite being in considerable distress. After, the subject was silent, and reserved. He seemed to be fighting himself, and we got our first proof that he can heal himself, at least slightly. The injection site from the narrow sample healed before our eyes, with a flash of light, and we can assume the puncture in the bone healed as well.

The subject was given further IQ tests, conducted verbally. The subject appeared to have no troubled with the questions asked. Daily tests will be conducted in measuring his scores.

Hello, sir.

There is a security issue with subject 30, Cody. The subject can access scanners, and using his abilities successfully open them. There needs to be another way to secure the subject.

Lily gave a curse, but saved her breath from anything else as she began to run again, faster. She was about to follow the hologram, before Moe charged, taking off in a different direction. Trusting the puppy, she followed after Moe, whose barks seemed louder as they echoed across the walls of the alley.

As Moe stopped, she looked about, searching for any sign of the girl, frowning. There wasn't many places to hide, unless she had hidden in the trash. Moe sniffed about, and Likybdecided that meant she wAs close.

"Face it, you're cornered"
Connor let Kijani come to him, opening his arms and holding her tight. It seemed that everything had been slightly off step, these last few months. Everything had been good, but now everything seemed...right.

He smiled at her comment, "perhaps just a bit" her words made him happy, more than, and simply having her there was the best thing in the world to him.

"I missed you, too" he said, falling silent for a few moments, content "how was your break?"
@Mistress Dizzy

Phoebe smiled kindly, and said "here, just this way, let's get you registered in a dorm. it is confusing at first" she approached a computer, and said "you just input your name here, see, and then request a dorm. Depending if there's any empty ones still available, it will put you in one of them or assign you to a dorm with someone else"
@Zerofighter

I'll post shortly!
It's okay. I probably won't post to morning myself. I'm just waiting for my damn cat to come inside so I can sleep
jarvis
@Natsume Honnaji
Jarvis gave a nod to robin, before starting up the stairs, climbing them up to Robins floor, and to the right door. "here it is. Before I forget, do you need accomadtion back in magnolia? We provide rooms for members at a rate of 10 percent of what you earn a month, and have plenty of rooms available" or would by the time the games were finished.

penny
@burthstone
Penny couldn't do anything without harming Karn. She cursed lightly, nimbling dodging Grant. She frantically searched for a way to end this. She wanted to win, but her need to protect a guild mate was stronger. As Grant came at her again, Penny would allow him to get close, and then she flung her arms out, brushing the dagger away, not reacting as it cut her slightly, and flung her arms around Grant tight.

"You don't know what it means to truly care about someone. You're done" her body was engulfed in flames once more, but then Grant was practically flung out her arms, leaving her standing there, blinking at the Karn in a dress, before snarling and looking down at her now healing wrist.

Jessie
@hatakekuro
Jessie watched the battle, occasionally commenting on it, but it was without her usual flare. As things seemed to get heated between Grant, Penny and Karn, she spoke up.

"I think we all thought there was no way out for Phoenix Wing's Penny. But she doesn't seem to be giving up and oh my, what is this? Phoenix wings Karn has entered the fray once more! What will Grant do-hey!" she squealed it as Ferris scooped her up, and managed, just, to flick her mic off.

She wriggled, quite deliberately, "seems like you already have" she said, but couldn't deny, Ferris made a comfortable seat. She sighed, letting herself relax slightly.

"I...you're thinking of joining a guild, and it just feels like...like I'm losing you before we even truly began"

Master Jamie
@joshua Tamashii
Jamie gave a smile to Amelia when she returned, "we are thinking of ice cream, if you wish to join us. I'm going to stop and check on Jackie as well" which, as Jamie read the note, she should do quickly, and intercept Angelo, just in case.

Michael

Michael gave a heavy sigh, pondering a few things. "The thing is, people, in some places, are still being hunted because they have magic" he said softly, and didn't say anything else about that, troubled.

"I think these games could show what wizards could be, but...it could also bring about that fear again. Right now, I guess it could go either way. There's not been anything big to show that we are here to protect fiore, not that that would be good anyway.

Some things take a while to heal. The games are meant to bring us together, but so far all it's doing is throwing us apart"
Well now I have to change my post. Ah well. Probably for the best
@TheWindelthank you so much. I wouldn't be able to do it for a few days, and they just look so cool
@hatakekuroill wait for you to post then I you are postig
Nies Hellum

Nies smiled, amused at Jukebox. She waited for him to come down, and didn't expect the hug. She blinked, and was just a little to slow to return the hug. "Well, I didn't know you were above me, Jukebox. I'll remember to look up next time" she said in response.

Jukebox was just so enthusiastic, it was hard not to be as well. While she wanted to look for Eris, she figured she could do that while training with Jukebox. She did need someone to train with, after all. "Well, we could do both. Find a quest that lets us dungeon dive" she said brightly, wondering if there was one like that around.

She stared at him when he suggested to go by car. "you wrecked the last car I had, distracting that dissolution remember? And the one before that..perhaps that's why the king destroys the bikes. A cars more insulted, after all. But sure, if we can get one"
