Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

that speech took me aaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssss to write
Jessie

@Hatakekuro

Jessie looked over and smiled, before checking everything again. Feeling his eyes, Jessie deliberately wriggled her butt, enjoying teasing Ferris, and turned when he cleared his throat, following behind him. It was indeed cute when he blushed, and watching him walk, she walked happily. Hurrying, she caught up with him and slipped her arm through his as he whistled.

"Well, the just shy of murdering people could potentially be your guild mates, so better not get on their bad side!" She said cheerfully

Sasha

@YipeeXD
"I can't promise that, Lazarus. What good would stepping back be, if I allow your death? If I allow a dreadful power to rise? What good is our future, if that happens? Don't you dare ask me to do that, because I won't." Sasha said, and she wasn't merely being stubbon, but knowing herself, she knew she wouldn't leave, so what was the point of making a promise she couldn't keep? "I'm strong, Lazarus, I can look out for myself"

Master Jamie

@Joshua Tamashii@zarkun
Jamie studied Jackie, and then gave a heavy sigh, almost in consent, but instead said "You do not get it, do you Jackie? As long as there is still light, even if that light is minisually compared to the darkness, there is hope, and hope rallies to light. They can tear us down, scatter us, but we will always come back together, and what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. We will destroy the dark guilds, not simply because it is the right thing to do, but because we can, even if it takes a thousand years.

Jack could have given up on you anytime, and yet he hasn't, because there was the hope of your recovery from your dark guild.

Jarvis and I could have given up, all those years ago, and yet we didn't. We created a guild and we brought hope. Each and ever member that comes to us, is a new light to fight the dark.

Jane's parents kept a light alive, and Jane herself will carry their light with her, for to have hope is to be alive. That's something you should learn, Jackie. As long as one person that fights for the light, for what is right, is breathing, then we have never truly lost."

Jamie might have ruined her speech by licking her ice cream cone, before continuing "You don't know me well enough to know that I won't give up, until I do just that. Destroy the darkness. I just have to keep on doing the unexpected, keep on making my guild and name known, and people like Jane will come. Because a moth is attracted to a flame, and Phoenix Wing shines brightly. Hope is a powerful thing"
Connor

Location: The lake
Interacting with:@BeautifulSnow Vanessa

"There are not wild packs around here, though, are there?" Connor said slowly, almost purposefully, seeing that Vanessa wasn't being entirely honest, the young man shifted the wood he carried, watching her seriously. As Vanessa seemed to have some sort of turn, Connor's eyes were drawn to the sky, frowning slightly. "Vanessa. There's something not quite right around here. You should get your camp packed up and leave" He said suddenly, looking back to her, but Vanessa was already leaving. He watched her go, frowning, not letting her out of his site.

He didn't know why he was concerned, but he had high intelligence, and he could follow a pattern easily enough. Some part of him had been following the pattern since his fathers death. He couldn't say why he knew something was going to happen, but he did.

Unconsciously, he reached up to his left shoulder, imagining he could feel the rip and tear of meat, tendon and flesh as teeth tore into it, and impulsively he marched into the camp without thinking he was intruding. Dropping his wood, he grabbed Vanessa's arm, and pulled her up with an ease that suggested he wasn't merely skinny.

He leaned in close and said in barely a whisper, "What is happening to me?" He didn't know why Vanessa would have the answers to what had happened, but there was definitely something strange about her.
dances about happily

I'm rocking the foundations, baby, getting ready to topple the already shaky hierachy.

I'm going to watch this guild fall epicily.

throws hands up and cheers

Anyway, working on a post now.
The first day of school was hectic for everyone, including the teachers and the headmaster. Bruce Wayne monitored the computers showing various aspects of the school, lingering on Mimic's class, watching what was happening, his eyes inevitable drawn, as they always were, to Phoebe. The time with his daughter, while not enough to make up for the two decades absence from her life, had been wonderful.

He didn't want to see her leave the school, but knew one day soon she'd graduate.

"It was a hell of a year last year, and this year is probably going to be more so" Bruce said, looking up as Clark entered the office. "We need to have a meeting. Speak with the rest of the staff, and organise it for after lessons."

Clark nodded, "We need to talk, later, Bruce."

Bruce watched Clark leave the room, frowning slightly.

Connor smiled as Kijani approached, and nodded, "Alright then, enjoy the lesson" He watched her go, before turning to go to his next class, taught by Matt Murdock, Daredevil himself, in his particularly brand of fighting. While Connor could fight, both with the suit and without it, he knew that was a lack in his knowledge that he needed to correct.

Along the way, he came across Steve Rogers, and smiled at the captian, giving a friendly greeting. Friendly with the Captain, from both the school, and through is father, it was nevertheless good to see him, and to see if he had any news from those who weren't teaching at the school.

"Will I see you shortly, Connor?" he asked. Connor shook his head, and replied, "I'm looking to close some gaps in my knowledge, but I have a class with you this afternoon. I should go, its not easy sneaking into class late, but its even harder when its a blind man"

Saying farewell, Connor continued to the classroom for his next class.

Harry gathered his things when the class was over, and consulting his map, heading toward the fighting classroom, taught by Steve Rogers. While Harry didn't think he'd be any good at fighting, and there was also the terrifying aspect of losing his glasses, he knew he should know how to fight.

But he wasn't looking forward to it.

As he reached the classroom, he pulled his hood down again, and made sure his glasses were secured before stepping in.

"Yes" Nyx said with a smile, "Well, what shall we do now?"

"My mother has her own ideas on how children should be raised and what they should be taught. She thought we should all know how to do such things" tran said,

"And I trust you too" Hermia replied, "I just hope they follow their dreams"

"Why is there an even higher setting then high, if it's hurtful?" Sasha wondered, thinking of the ultra setting, more then content with the high setting
Heloise listened to the discussion, not feeling the need to be included in it right then. She knew she shouldn't feel attached to a place, but she couldn't help it. How often had she walked that land? She tore her eyes eye from the skyline, looking over to the others.

Finally, as the discussion seemed to draw to a close, she said "I can travel easier and light by myself, faster and sneakier. I can disguise myself easily, and I can look for any danger and report back" She spoke softly, keeping her voice neutral, "I can find a way in, and come back out, and see what happens, but if I have to go as a group, I'd prefer to scout ahead in any case"

She thought wearily about what was ahead of them, what they had just come from. How had it come to this? "But you do know, if we get caught separated, we could easily be screwed. There's pros and cons for both, I suppose"
Boo yeah!

Someone else is also looking to bring the guild down too!
