Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

hence why I'm writing a post now. It will be up today.
Callie smiled, and said "Thank you, it looks wonderful" It did look fabulous, and callie was almost loath to eat it, but the smell of the food was just too irressitable, besides she thought if she didn't eat, her stomach might just revolt. As Silas took his leave again, Callie picked up her knife and fork, cutting off a bite. It was, perhaps one of the best things she had ever tasted, and she had to stop herself from making a "Yummy" sound. "It has to be illegal for something to be this good" She said, happily taking another bite, enjoying the food. She was faminished, and didn't want to eat to quickly, but it was just so good. She stopped a moment, and took a small sip of the wine, well content and comfortable in the place.

She decided she didn't need to know what Silas was. He was a good person, and to Callie that meant a lot more then what type of creature anyone was. Her gaze slid to Caius, and she smiled. How could her life have been completely horrible one moment, and then changed forever the next, by the appearance of Caius? Perhaps she shouldn't question it. She'd just enjoy it, and this fabulous food.

She did blush as a sudden thought filled her, glancing away, back to her plate. @Kyrisse
Maria stared at Viccer, trying to see if her assistant was joking or just derannged. When she saw that he was completely serious, she still contemplated shoving Viccer into an insane asylum. As he left the room, she blinked.

"No, Viccer" She said softly, "the anomalies seem to have all the will in the world"

Such an admit of defeat however wasn't one she'd public admit. Moving, she stared at the computer screen, frowning. She sighed, weary. If there was a way of just making it all go away, Maria would do it, even if she had to sign away her very soul.

She pressed the button.

"Subjects 29, and 30, can you hear me?"

Cody

Location: Sky Lake medical centre

"Cody"

The frantic yell had Cody's head whipping around, trying to place where it had come from, his heart clenching as he tried to find Aron, but relief spreading through him as he realised that Aron was okay-or at least okay enough to yell for him. "Aron!" he shouted, his voice a little raw, and filled slightly with the pain from the various wounds he had, but he didn't care about that. The relief made him feel weak, even as there was a wash of adrenaline at his need to find Aron. Cody had come out almost three years ago, with the support of his parents, after a lot of long talks, yet he had never had a serious boyfriend-nothing had felt right, not when he had had a very potent crush on Aron. Finally getting up the courage to tell him how he felt? He couldn't lose that now.

"Aron" He called again, trying to find even a hint of his boyfriend. He caught a glimpse of Aron, and he let out a cry of relief, slumping back on the stretcher, even that small exerution weakening him. He wanted to get up, to make his way over to Aron, but even as he tried to move, to swing his legs over the stretcher, to gritt his teeth and ignore the pain, someone pushed him back down. "17 year old male, who refuses to lay down, claw and scratch marks over his body, bad sprain, potential fracture of his left tibia or fibia. Potential concussion, but vital signs good-" Cody didn't want to hear this, and he called out "Aron!" Again, trying to twist around to catch a glimpse of Aron again.

"Oh, for the love of-Someone make sure those two are in the same room, there's enough yelling in this place, we don't need anymore"

Cody let himself be pushed back, and held down with relief, his breath coming out in small pants and he sought to calm his breathing. He shook, letting his eyes close. Aron was okay. He'd be with him. His friends seemed to be okay. Or as okay as they could be. They'd all live, right? There seemed to be a small commotion going on, but Cody didn't care. Aron was okay.

"Aron..." he murmurrd, thoughts once more focusing on Aron, they did drift towards the others, and Cody felt a spark of guilt. He really did hope everyone was okay. Oh, god, what about Syleste? She wouldn't have been able to see what was going on, only the terrible sounds of the attack. She was probably so confused, so frightened, and he opened his eyes, looking around for the flash of pink that would be Syleste. "Syl...Cassie...oh, god, Gage...Miri...Cleo...are my friends okay?" But no one answered, and Cody suddenly felt alone, and he realised something serious was going on. There were still medics around, but suddenly there seemed to be a tense situation. More and more, he wanted to try to get to Aron, not sure what he could do in the state he was in, but knowing that he wanted to be there, to protect Aron if something happened.

Callie

location: Cedar Ash inn

Callie placed the phone back down neatly as Quinton hung up, turning to face the young girl who was struggling to subdue a pup that weighed near as much as she did. Callie smiled, watching her for a moment. The wolf-dog pup tugged and pulled against Abigale's grip, gently as if he knew the young girl was breakable. Or would be very breakable if she wasn't a born werewolf. Callie's charms had alerted her to what the Father and daughter were, even though the werewolf gene was dormant in Abigale, when they had first arrived, and it had been easy to tell that Quinton at least knew she was a witch by her scent, which did have a characterist redwood scent that came from spelling, which all witches certainly had. Warlocks didn't have a strong redwood scent, just one of the many ways that you could distingush Witches and Warlocks.

They had an unspoken agreement, to not discuss what either were, and it worked. Quinton found in her someone who could watch his child when he could not, and Callie certainly enjoyed the girls company. She watched her for a few moments, before saying "Alright, sweetpea, time for bed. Your father just called to say he will see you tomorrow and that he loves you. Lets get up to your room" She clicked her figers, and stared at the wolf dog, who stared back, but then looked away. Pleased, Callie nodded to Abigale, "With wolf-dogs, especially the pups, you have to assert your dominance, kind of like with the alpha of the pack with their betas" She said, gently putting that reminder of pack hierachy in the young girls head, nudging both Abigale and Remus up the stairs.

The young pup had difficulty manuvering the stairs, but Callie nudged him along patiently, letting the pup figure out how to climb them as he bounded after Abigale, ungraceful but mastering, for the time being, the stairs. Helping Abigale into the bed, Callie did give Remus a lift up, watching as the pup curled up against Abigale, his eyes watching Callie. Tucking Abigale in, she turned to go, looking back at the young girl as she went to shut the door, the wolf-dog pups eyes glowing. Between the two of them, nothing would be harming the child. Nodding to Remus, Callie left the room, going back downstairs, she used a diabetic finger stick-something she had to pretend to purchase for a diabetic relative-and massaged three drops of blood onto the back of a wooden amulet, tucking it over her head and under her shirt. It was essentially a charm that would help to detect a threat, and as Callie stuck her finger in her mouth, she made sure that the place was looked up.

The very recent wolf attacks had her on edge, and Callie glanced towards her private kitchen, her spelling kitchen-it wasn't good to mix spelling prep and food prep-wondering if she should make a few more charms. Perhaps something a little offensive, rather then defensive? Although her sleepy-time potions worked well, it could be a pain landing them. She shook her head, knowing she was well stocked. Checking everything, she sat down with the phone, flicking the television on, waiting for another call from Quinton.

Connor

Location: Sky lakes medical centre

As the man Connor had seen around, that hee was sure was a wolf...too approached, bringing him over to the pink haired girl, Connor hesitated, looking to the ambulance that had approached, and the pink haired girl, standing there with indecision closing his thoughts. He glanced up to the moon, his eyes blinking. He decided he disliked the moon, very much. Looking back at the sound of commotion, Connor moved away quickly just in time to avoid the flying paramedic. He crouched, gaze flicking about for the cause of the flying healer, landing on the girl in the back of the ambulance. His heart almost stopped before giving a massive squeeze, its beat inceasing.

It was her. The girl he hadn't been stalking-okay, so he had watched her in the food store, and yeah, offered her a ride when she seemed lost. But he so totally hadn't been stalking her. The pink haired girl forgotten a moment, Connor watched the girl as she grabbed another medic by the neck. the scent of blood wafted over to him, he growled, the sound low in the back of his throat. He glanced down at his own furry body, realising what was happening. It had been her there, at the site. Shifted much like he was. A thrill sparked through Connor, and even as he heard hurried footsteps, and a cry of "Hey, calm down" behind him, he launched himself into the back of the ambulance, probably giving the paramedic currently being held a second heart attack at the sudden presence of a wolf, although maybe the man was just hoping he was a large dog.

Connor padded towards the girl, and without a single thought, he using the gurney to help rise himself, licked her cheek, managing to accidently brush his wet nose against her ear, quite possibly a wolves form of a wet willy, trying to get the girl to look at him. He growled again, none threatening, even as the man-wolf some part of connor thought, recognising his scent from the attack site, said "because he is human, and you are not. We don't kill the innocent, young one" The man kept his voice low-perhaps the medic wouuldn't even register what was said, "Taking a life is no easy thing, young one. Find your anchor"

Anchor? Just what did that mean?

"Find the thing that keeps you grounded, and do it now."

For a moment, Connor thought back to the fight. He had felt out of control, wild, the scent of blood driving him crazy, right up until the moment he had seen her. And then it was like being hit with a tone of bricks, freezing him, even as he had seen her change and he had just charged in, seeking to attacking the wolf, and protect the girl. Was that what this man meant? Yet why did that leave him as he was? He looked up at the girl, his gaze unblinking.

<Snipped quote by Caits>

Several times. At this point he'd be going to Juvy if they ever caught him again, and I get the feeling that this city has more pressing problems with crime than a kid on his own who occasionally steals stuff.

Yeah. but Callie is a witch. She could probably contain him XD
Meinjta let out a cry as Kaiser all but blasted her into space, she twisted, so she could see just what the hell was going on. Spreading her arms and legs, she caught the air around her, slowing her fall as she quickly tried to assess just what she needed to do. For one blessed, sweet moment, Meinjta could almost feel what it would like to fly, and her heart ached for the no doubt far away evolution of her final form, Charizard.

She turned her gaze towards yungoos, she aimed a scratch at the on coming pokemon, trying to use the force at which she was falling to add more power to the attack, shifting her body ever so slwoly to be able to land smoothly, hopefully without breaking something. Cursing Kaisers actions, without telling her so she could prepare, Meinjta just hoped with all her heart that this wasn't going to hurt.

"Hey, Goosy, break my fall and you might just get a kiss" She yelled at the pokemon, flashing him a quick, sassy smile.
